I recently had my hair cut and colored, and it was a wonderful personalized experience. Melisa took her time and really listened to what I wanted, ensuring I was happy with every step. The salon was incredibly clean, and the service was kind and attentive. Overall, I left feeling completely satisfied and pampered.

I’ve been seeing Kristen for years now. Started out with her when she was a junior stylist at Maria Bonita and haven’t let go of her since. She just gets color. I get to come and sit in her chair, close my eyes and rest knowing I’ll walk out with exactly what I want. She understands my super red under-toned brunette hair and I’ll never let anyone else touch it for as long as Kristen will have me!

I’ve been going to different salons for the past 3 years and I think my search for the perfect stylist is finally over. Kristen was amazing!!!! She is so detail oriented. I loved that she had me stand up so she could finalize the cut and make sure everything was even. I haven’t loved a haircut like this in so long and I am so thankful I’ve finally found someone I can trust with my hair!!

I have been going to Kristen for over 5 years, she is seriously a great hair magician and overall a fantastic human. she is always keeping up with the latest techniques and styles, and is never afraid of trying something new. Andrea is a gem - they made my appt so awesome and fitted me in during fashion week and the US open when I was flying in from LA to NYC - they are so friendly and fashion forward and took the most care and attention to my hair and what suits me and perfect results. Highly recommended.

Andrea is phenomenal!! Literally have never had better haircuts or blowouts than with her. My hair has grown immensely after every appointment and literally everyone compliments how good my hair looks styled and non styled because of Andrea. 10/10 experience and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Extremely professional business. They are experts stylist located in the meat packing district. Kristen and Andrea are amazing. I had a horrible experience with this salon specifically Kristen the owner. Kristen rescheduled on me 3 times and when I finally came in for my appointment she made me wait an hour to get started because she said she needed to eat lunch first. The worst part is she completely fried my hair doing the Kerstin/Brazilian straightening. You could smell my burning hair throughout the entire salon and they had to open windows it was so bad. My hair has fallen out in chunks and is shedding everywhere. She offered no resolution and said she doesn’t think anything can be done to fix my hair. And then she tried to sell me a repair hair mask salon treatment to fix my hair that she damaged. Devastating results. I see this salon has a lot of good reviews that were all written in the last few days many reviews a day. What does that tell you? Beware

I have been going to Kristen for almost 2 years and she never disappoints! She has cut and colored my hair numerous times and always makes my vision come to life. Her and Andrea are very knowledgable. I highly recommend as you won't be disappointed!

I moved to nyc from south FL a few years ago and was so lucky to find Kristen!! It was very important for me to find someone who was not only talented but also prioritized the health of my hair. I’ve been highlighting my hair for years and the frequent maintenance can take a toll. Kristen and her team are careful to keep it looking fresh and healthy which is why I keep going back :)

I’ve been going to Andrea for years and will follow her wherever she goes! Every time I decide to change what type of blonde I want to be, she does it perfectly. My hair grows out natural looking and my hair is so healthy. She did my highlights before I got engaged, before I got married, etc. She is the best!

I’ve been seen Kristen for the last 2 year and she never disappoints, best haircut ever! I have thick hair and she does a wonderful job at blowing out my hair which is really hard to find in NYC because not everyone is knowledgeable with thick wavy hair and, of course her customer service Is great. I Highly recommend going to Hair Magic.

Kristin keeps my hair healthy, happy, and my color is so natural looking I can let it grow out for six-nine months. My keratin is done correctly and lasts for 6 months - and she never pushes products or upsells. Her blow outs last me a week. Everything she does is stunning and will make you feel your best - all priced fairly and in a little jewel box of a salon!

Magic is the perfect word for what the team here does! I've been getting my hair done by Kristen for the last ~1.5 years and it always turns out better than I even imagine (or the reference picture!) Andrea, Kristen, and Angelica are truly a dream team and make coming into the salon the highlight (no pun intended) of my day! THE BEST OF THE BEST. I cannot give Hair Magic NYC enough stars. I rarely leave reviews, but it is SO necessary after the incredible work these highly talented ladies did and KEEP doing. I have had some hair trauma in the past and learned to "like" my hair. A friend recommended Hair Magic NYC, and I can officially say I LOVE my hair. I promise you, I have never been happier with my hair, and the confidence they gave me is unreal. This place is truly incredible. They exceed expectations in every single way. I walked in expecting to "like my hair" and be content based on the many past experiences I have had, but even a month and a half later, I LOVE my hair. I will never go to another salon again, and whoever says otherwise has clearly not experienced their brilliance and talent firsthand. If you are looking for a salon that can meet your expectations, go here because they will exceed any and all expectations, I promise, plus more. When you walk in, you are greeted by amazing people and the most welcoming environment, then you leave, and you end up with the best color/cut/extensions that you honestly probably never expected. The team at Hair Magic is truly a dreeeeeam. I met Andrea about a year ago and have been going to her for my blonde locks since. She is super accommodating and attentive to her clients and ALWAYS kills it. I only just met Kristen, but she has the coolest vibe--she offered to order me a smoothie during my appointment 😫💕. I also saw her create literal magic on another client who came in with a time crunch and a slightly botched job. These girls are awesome and I'd follow them anywhere! Though I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Kris at her new salon, this woman is an undeniable hair god (to put it mildly). Her welcoming demeanor and professionalism are overshadowed by her ability to perform absolute magic on your hair (you literally cannot lose !!!). I have gotten my hair done from Shanghai to Barcelona and no one has done a better job than Kris. Get an appointment while you can — you will NOT regret it!!!!
