I did not care for the salon. The people were nice but that was the only thing I liked about it. The owner gave me an appointment with a woman who was in training. I was OK with that, but it was clear she needed lots of help. She asked for assistance on what to do next every 5 minutes and my hairstyle is called "high and tight" which is a common military cut. It took her almost one hour to do it. It normally takes about 20-25 minutes to do my hair with a washing. It was $30 with no wash included. I thought it was too expensive considering how slow and untrained the stylist was. I emailed the owner, and she just made excuses and didn't offer any rebates or coupons to address the complaint. I will not return.

It's been about ten years since I went to school there .. I have to say.. over the years I've had many people tell me this is the best cut I've ever had. . And things like no one ever gets my cut just right like you do. I learned my skills at Hair Magic. Dotty taught me great hair, about loving yourself, people and about life. If you're considering going to school there. A small school with a master teacher is the best way to go. Thanks Dotty. I'm a confident and independent woman with the skills you taught me.

Make sure you know in advance if a student or the owner is cutting your hair. I made an appointment for a haircut and was not given an option or realized what was happening. Once there it was clear the stylist who’d be working with me was a student. I expressed discomfort halfway through because I wanted a very specific type of cut and it seemed like she didn’t know exactly how to deliver. I was told it was easy and she just needed clarification about something. Honestly I should’ve walked out but I’m a people pleaser and didn’t want to hurt anyones feelings. My hair is a mess now and I don’t want a single centimeter cut off to fix it or it will be way too short. I haven’t stopped crying I’m literally devastated i know it’s just hair but I’m deeply upset. When It was time to pay it was incredibly cheap “bc she’s a student!” I NEVER would have asked for a Guinea pig discount learning experience haircut. This is my effing HAIR that I have to live with every day, I had a right to know in advance whether I was getting a student or a professional. I would’ve happily paid 10x the amount for a proper correct haircut. I’m so mad at myself for not following my gut and walking out of there after the first lock was cut. The owner is a nice woman and the student stylist was so sweet but I did not want a freaking STUDENT HAIR CUT!! Like why!?! 😣😣😣 beware in advance if you want to let them practice on you that’s great but this was a big deal 10 inch cut for me and I feel like I was robbed and gut punched.

Quick service, fantastic positive attitudes, they listened to exactly what I wanted for my twin 4 yo daughters. I couldn't possibly be happier with my experience.

I had Lauren do my hair and she does such wonderful work! Amazing! Great people. I'd give 10 stars for service and great work however, it was a bit pricey. I felt bad giving only a 20% tip. She deserved so much more for her personal work. I just couldn't afford what I would have liked to give her after hearing what I had to pay. I was expecting it to be about $200 for just a color bc I already had a haircut from there about two weeks prior. If it were only $200 I had planned on giving $100 tip which would have made me feel less guilty. I'm not saying it wasn't worth it bc she did do a great job. Just be sure to discuss the price before hand is my only suggestion. Otherwise, honestly you're not gonna find anyone better than Lauren. Not in this state.

Only got one star because I couldn't go any lower. Made an appointment for 3:30. Arrived at 3:25. Walked out at 4:00 with the same length hair as when we walked in; person who was to be cutting said hair was apparently on the phone in the back.
