HORRIBLE customer service!!! Don't even waste your time . how are you called "hair play SALON and spa" and you don't even have a hair stylist for literally 4 days at a time and didn't even care or think it didn't matter ...

I asked for my hair to be layered and she apparently didn't know how..I have hair to the middle of my back and she didn't even layer the bottom she did like a Bob at the top which isn't even and left the rest just long and no layers..I'm never going back there.

A friend of mine told me that she always gets her hair done at Hair Play and having lived in El Paso for years I have always seen it but never went in there... Yesterday my friend got her hair done and the stylist that did it was so amazing. He did a simple wash, cut and style, held a very intelligent conversation the entire time and was a complete professional! He did so good that I scheduled a hair appointment with him for the next day. I don't like my hair being cut short and he knew that doing in and I swear he only cut at the most and inch and a half. I was so impressed. Every time I ask for a trim I get inches taken off that I didn't ask for. I'm so sad that I haven't gone to this salon a lot sooner! And the price was unbeatable too. I got a wash, cut and style and was floored at how fairly priced it was. Ladies, don't waste your time going anywhere else!

I purchased a group offer for a massage. I'm hooked. This was the best massage I have gotten and the price is amazing. I love massages and I have paid $100 + for 1hr massages. A great massage is worth it. And the therapist is so amazing. She is definately a steal!

Received a groupon from Hair Play. I purchased a basic facial. The set-up of the salon is very nice inside. The facial I received was also nice and relaxing. Will/would visit again.

The hair cut I got was a beautiful cut, but was obviously shorter than I asked for. I recently moved to the Fort Bliss area. A female Soldier, friend, recommended me, but I didn't ask her how much they normally charge her. Afterwards, I was a bit shocked at the high price. When I asked my friend how much she pays, I realized even though I received the "10% referral discount", I was still charged 50% more than my friend pays for a VERY similar haircut, with the same hairdresser. How can that be? The worst of all, I also got my nails done. Simply a clear acrylic overlay. By the time the nail tech was done my cuticles looked like ground hamburger meat. My hands hurt for days. And the overlay was the worst I had in the 15 years since I started getting them done, regularly. They started to chip and crack within 2 days, they were uneven, and had bubbles; some with moisture in them. After a week, I had to soak them off myself, as I was afraid I was going to get a fungus from the moisture trapped under the acrylic on top of my nail. I've had beauty students do a better job. Finally, the girl who did my nails also did my toes. She either doesn't know or forgot to add a clear coat to my toes before adding the dark red color; causing my toe nails to stain from the color. This was a couple of months ago, and of course the staining is still growing out. I would recommend the hair cutting service if you want an absolutely beautiful cut, willing to put your hair in someone else’s vision and have the money to pay for it. But I would not even refer my worst enemy to the nail tech...okay maybe that one rude co-worker.
