I barely gave any information or particular preferences about what I wanted, but what I got in return is one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten, and the experience was great. I highly recommend this place, especially since it's such a good price.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m super particular with my hair and have been trying to find an Asian salon that “gets it”. So glad to have found this salon. Every time I come in, it’s like they know exactly what I want and do it even better than expected. I think the prices are actually super agreeable compared to what other salons in the Seattle area are starting to charge. Mr Kim and his wife are also super friendly.

it's not easy to find someone that knows how to cut short male asian hair, but Mr. Kim gave me a great fade and helped me avoid the dreaded cow lick. 5 stars, will be coming back!

Pretty expensive, but can’t complain for the quality. Its pretty popular so you have to make a reservation quickly.

i had an okay experience with my most recent haircut. i came in hoping to get an inch or so taken off and thin bangs, but when i offered to show a photo, he said there was no need. i was a little confused but stayed hopeful, indicating that i wanted to keep my hair right at my shoulders and no shorter. he said that it’s better to keep it short at the back, which was fine, but then he took out buzzers and started to shave the back of my neck, which is when i started to be a little concerned about the length. my current hair is at least 2-3 inches too short and nowhere near what i asked for in terms of length (i indicated with my hands where i wanted it to get cut at, and was clear that i didn’t want it to go above there), and there is no hair at the back of my neck because it was buzzed off. it’s also uneven, which you can see in the photo. part of this falls on me because i wasn’t more assertive in showing him the inspiration photo i wanted but based on the positive reviews here i was hoping that he would still deliver what i was asking for. i’m just overall disappointed that it was so short when i asked for only an inch or so cut off and now will have to wait at least a month or more for it to get back to the length i wanted it to be at. i’m not sure i’d be willing to come back, but maybe if i’m able to show him a photo next time i’ll have a better result. total cost was $60 before tax

Moved to Seattle and tried several different barbers before deciding on hair salon k as my go to barber. Best undercut I've been able to find!

Mr Kim is a magician with clippers. He's the only person I trust with my hair nowadays. Never had a bad cut from this man in the 2+ years of monthly appointments. Needless to say, I'll continue to be a repeat customer!

I am so particular about my hair. All my life I’ve hopped from salon to salon because nobody could ever do my hair the way I wanted. THIS PLACE WILL GET YOU RIGHT. All the trendy haircuts: curtain bangs, wolf cut, hush cut, all of it. I only trust hair salon k!!!

I really like this place. I have gotten short haircuts, two block cuts, and haircuts to grow out my hair. Most of the time the haircuts are really easy to style. I think the barber is great and I really recommend this place, although I would say the price is high about 45 for male cuts.

Had a great experience! Been hopping around to different barbers and salons since moving to Seattle in 2020. I think I finally found a location that provides me the type of service I need!

No frills hair shop. If you are looking for a simple cut, Hair Salon K is decent and easily accessible. My experience has been that the hairdresser’s cuts aren’t very delicate, so there are uneven layers or gradiation that result from the cut. The way he works through your hair is also on the rougher side. I still went back after my first cut due to the pros I shared on too, but both times came away less than satisfied with the level of details in the final cut.

The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful when doing my hair. They asked me about my time living in Korea, offered me water, and made sure I was comfortable. I got a Korean perm redone and a haircut trim, it turned out very nicely.

I have been going here for two years. Obviously with any hair salons, the first couple of cuts were not to my desired expectations. You need time. You need to build chemistry and learn how to communicate with the barber. After a few months, Ive been getting exactly the cuts I want. The barber and his wife that run the place are lovely and I can’t recommend them enough.

Incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly owners! Haircut was very fast and pleasant, with very good advice for maintenance and styling tips! I would absolutely recommend for Asian guys with all types of hair!

My new go-to spot. The interior was cute, the owners gave me free water and the price was super affordable ($60 for a women's cut). And my haircut was cute if I do say so myself (got see-through bangs).

한국인 학생인데요. 여기서 눈탱이 당했어요. 구랫나룻 살려 달라고 했더니, 제일 관리하기 쉽다고 투블럭 이라면서 귀두컷 만들고 5분뒤 $55달러 라고 했어요. 최악 입니다. 다섯배는 받으셨어요.
