Kate is great stylist and she did such an amazing job! She made my hair look exactly how I wanted it to! I will be back, it is definitely worth it! Definitely recommend her and this place.

Kate was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and talked me through what she was doing. She also seemed to "listen" to my hair in a way that left me with a haircut that looks great styled or left naturally. She would ask me questions, and if I wasn't sure, she would explain what she would like to do (or what was right for my hair) but would never push if I was leaning for one way. She was also quite gentle on my head; typically I have to warn people my scalp is sensitive, but Kate was gentle from the start. Loved her work and will definitely be back!

I went to see Kate for a color and cut and left extremely satisfied with the end result. I wanted natural highlights with a cut and she gave me just that! I receive constant compliments about my hair! She also gave some great tips on how to maintain the color and keep my hair healthy - she has definitely become my go-to stylist!!

Called ahead to make an appointment and asked for pricing, of course. Kate told me it would only be about $25 for a wash and a cut- no style. Cool. Before going in to the appointment I read the reviews on here. I had the same thing happen to me. Kate charged me an extra $10 and said it was because I got a shampoo and condition. Since when is it $10 extra for that? Cut was ok and fairly quick but I doubt I'll be going back there because I don't like being lied to.

My wife recommend I go see Kat for a proper men's haircut. I couldn't be more happy with the end result! The fade was perfect and Kat made sure i looked great.

Went there for my first time yesterday. Wasn't happy at all. I called ahead of time to get pricing. Lady told me $22 over the phone for a cut for long hair (my hair doesn't even reach the middle of my back). So I get there and she washes and cuts my hair. So I know how most pricing goes, and I expected to pay maybe $30 at the most for a wash and cut. Once we were done she charged me $38!!!!! That is OUTRAGES! I asked what was so high since she quoted me $22, she stated it was because I got a wash too. I could understand if she styled it but all she did was wash and trim it. I let my hair air dry. So where in the hell does the price jump up almost $20 for a wash? I will NOT be returning.

Phyllis McBride is just wonderful. She's been "in the family" for years - I don't think anyone else has ever cut my daughter's hair. Especially good with color, and updos/formal hairstyles. LOVE her!
