I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hair Expectations Salon , a cozy gem tucked away in Coney Island. Here’s my review of this charming family-run establishment. Experience and Rating: My experience at Hair Expectations Salon was truly delightful. I wholeheartedly rate it 5 out of 5 stars. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Services and Stylist: I opted for a haircut and full-head permanent color , and I must say that Madeline worked wonders with my hair. Her expertise was evident, and she listened attentively to my preferences. The result was a stylish and flattering new look that I absolutely adore. Pricing and Atmosphere : I paid Under $100 : for wash, condition , cut and full color . The salon’s laid back and inviting atmosphere added to the overall experience. It’s clear that the owner has poured their hearts into nurturing the clientele, their community and neighbors. I found it humbly pleasant. What’s more, the pricing was reasonable, making it accessible for various budgets! Wait Time and Customer Service: I was pleasantly surprised by the minimal wait time when I arrived. We started exactly at 2pm. They respect the clients’ schedules, which is a huge plus. The stylist Madeline was not only skilled but also genuinely friendly, striking up pleasant conversations and ensuring I was comfortable throughout. Final Verdict and Conclusion: I wholehearted recommend Hair Expectations Salon to anyone seeking a personalized and welcoming hair care experience. This family-run salon has a unique charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. I can’t wait for my next visit, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way after experiencing their service.

My hair stylist was Doreen. She was nice, patient and corteous. I had the knotless braids and do not regret going there. I just became a loyal customer for hair braiding needs and I strongly recommend.

Doreen does an excellent job. She does my daughter's hair beautifully. And her braids lasts for a long time. Her prices, her work, and environment are great. I would definitely recommend her.

Doreen has been doing my hair for the past year! She's patient, kind, understanding, and versatile with her hair styles! It's a welcoming atmosphere and I always look forward to my appointments with her!! If you haven't found a hairstylist, come and visit Doreen! You won't be disappointed!

Doreen very professional at what she does I would not go anywhere else I can at least keep my braids in for at least 2 months or more the whole salon great spirit and good at what they do down to the kids weave and wash in sets all in one go try it
