I had a wonderful experience at this salon. Joe is a perfectionist when it comes to hair! He was also courteous and professional. Also, his scalp massages are firm and wonderous! I highly recommend this salon if you want a hairstylist who knows how to work with black hair.

I have always had the best experience with Walter at Hairstyling by Joseph. I’ve been coming to him for over 10 years and still come back even though I’ve moved out of state. He’s so knowledgeable about my hair and always takes his time with me. Walter is amazing. Can’t wait to get back there!

Extremely unprofessional service. I showed up for a 2pm appointment, waited over an hour for my stylist and then was told they were closing early and the stylist had left for the day.

I had to stop and give Richard Greene at Joseph's Salon 5 Stars. I am a huge fan of weaves and have been wearing them for years but this summer I decided to start rocking my natural hair more. It has grown in length a lot after being braided constantly but still lacked moisture. I tried a couple of twist outs and despite the creams and oils I used it felt like it was still breaking so I thought why not go to a professional and found Richard Greene. I am usually against putting heat in my natural hair and since I have it out so sparsely I never felt the need to flat press it. Richard insisted that I press out my hair to get some moisture and oil back into and although I was hesitant I decided to give it a try and I actually enjoyed the result. After pressing and trimming my hair, my twist out and hair generally felt more filled with moisture as opposed to the brittle and almost breaking feeling I got despite the large amount of oil I was putting in my hair before I pressed it. I'm only planning to press it once a month, but I do recommend that my fellow natural hair girls try this place & ask for Richard Greene!

Dureen was fabulous! I have been looking for a stylist in the city and it's difficult to find considering I don't trust everyone with my hair. Dureen did not overheat my hair and was very nice! I received so many compliments!!
