I can't believe the 4-5 star reviews about this store. You should not expect authentic Korean hair salon skills here like in other salons. I know three people, including myself, who had their hair burned after a perm treatment by Ms. Jeon, the owner of the salon. Please consider going to other salons if you really care about your lovely hair.

I got the Japanese permanent hair straightening here and Younghye did a beautiful job! My hair looks amazing and I will definitely be going back to her when it needs touched up. Younghye was very kind and friendly, the salon was beautiful and immaculately clean, and I am extremely impressed with how good my hair looks! If you need a straightening treatment I’d absolutely recommend this salon!

I was really excited about my hair cut today. The whole shop only herself, which is fine, but while doing my hair, she was taking care of the people before and after my appointment(she was washing hair for another client while cutting my hair, and became super rash in my haircut after other group of people arrived ). The cutting cost me $70 in total, but my front part was not even changed at all. Not a good experience.

So amazing! She did a fantastic job on my digital perm, she has a lot of experience and knows what to do and guided me through how to take care of my perm after. Reasonable price too! Definitely recommend if you have Asian hair and need someone who is educated

This was my first experience getting a perm as I’m used to just getting the usual short haircuts from my other barber. I was very nervous going into this but Younghye made the experience so great. She’s so kind and knowledgeable on different hairstyles and gives great cuts! She is only one person running this shop as far as I know but she does a great job. On top of that, her prices are great for the quality of work that she does. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment. Thank you Younghye!

I came to Younghye for my wedding makeup and hairdo. We did a trial session before the actual day where she also gave me lots of advice and tips on what accessories I can get to match my wedding gown. She is very experienced and has a great sense of beauty. Everything was so perfect on my wedding day and the pictures turned out fantastic! She did such a wonderful job I’m coming back here for my haircut too!

Made an appointment a week ahead of time then texted to confirm the appointment same day before I came in. I arrived a couple of minutes early and she was sitting on the couch in the waiting area, greeted me and asked if I was there for my appointment and said it will be just a few minutes (I assumed she was getting the chair ready). She then proceeds to cut two other people's hair that were sitting in the chairs. I waited 30 minutes before I left. I wasted 30 minutes driving and 30 minutes of waiting to not be seen for an appointment I booked.

Owner was very nice! Got me in quickly & worked with my schedule for an eyelash perm. Super happy with the results, definitely a more natural look while still being noticeable.

Younghye is a very nice woman. She is the owner of the business. The first time I went to Younghye I got a balayage on my dark hair with lighter ends. It came out really well and the haircut turned out nice too. The only complaint is how many people she was working on during my appt. It felt a little choppy when she was coloring my hair and running around. The second time I went to Younghye I wanted full highlights (my hair had been previously highlighted by other stylists). She asked if I wanted bleach or just color. I asked if the color would lighten my roots enough which she assured me it would. It instead turned my hair a brassy gold. It blended okay with the rest of my hair but the highlights didn’t go all the way up to my root. This forced me to get my hair done a month earlier than usual bc of the grow out. Younghye is great for a hair cut but I would not use for blonding or highlighting.

Younghye is the best barber in Pittsburgh! There's no doubt! I started to go to the gym after my haircut. This is because I need to lose some weight, so my body shape matches my hair!

I drove 2 hours to Pittsburgh to get a digital perm. Younghye did a fantastic job, and she pays so much attention to detail. She made sure that I got exactly what I wanted, and she is very patient and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hair salon! First time customer & it will not be my last. I was so pleased with the results of my new hair style. Younghye Jeun was so kind & very professional.
