I've tried multiple times to get my sons' hair cut here and it is always messed up despite simple requests (uneven, every single time even woth different stylists). I had my own hair cut here as well. The stylist made me stand to cut my hair, she was not happy my hair was so long and was bothered I requested more to be cut off.

I’m in VA for vacation and needed a haircut and wanted to do a big change! My mom had gotten her hair done here so we stopped by to see what was possible and I was lucky enough to get a spot in with no other than the co owner herself, Dawn! Absolutely amazing experience great atmosphere and lovely people. Obsessed with the outcome. From dark black hair to what I got is outstanding! Love love 10/10 recommend!

I love this salon! Everyone is always so kind and personable. I have been going to Samantha since 2019ish. She always does a WONDERFUL job. Even though I have moved, I still drive an hour and a halfish to Hair We Are. True, I only get my hair done once a year…but still.😁 I went last weekend and she was able to squeeze my husband in too. Literally the best haircut I’ve ever seen on him!!

Jessica has been doing my hair for years and I have never been disappointed leaving here. She is so amazing and talented and she truly cares about her clients and I am grateful to have her as my stylist and to have formed a frienship with her. I have gone through so many different phases of color with my hair and she has always been on point and always knows exactly what I am trying to describe what the look is I am going for. The entire atmosphere here in this salon is very friendly and welcoming and I love that about this salon! All the staff here are very talented and I love seeing all the different colors,cuts and styles. Keep up the amazing work you all do! Hair We Are is definitely be my forever salon.

Tammy is a life saver. I first went to her a couple months ago after another salon destroyed my hair. She did a great job with color correction. Went back today, and she gave me the best cut/highlights and low lights EVER. Especially after blowing it out, the layers are stunning. I haven't been this happy about my hair in a really long time. This is the second time I’ve come over here to this establishment. Great experience the first time. The last time, which was a couple of days ago I was on my way to the appointment and I called and let them know. I would be five minutes late only five minutes…. Be that as it may, when I got there, I felt very harried from my stylist. I decided not to get my hair colored as I wanted to, and just got a trim because I was trying to be polite and I felt that I was in the way. The so called trim was a joke and I just left without making a big stink… Even when I decided not to get my hair colored, I still felt rushed, and the cut was like I said horrible…sad to say $50 later I went home to see the same “style” that I had come in for with no results…
