I didn't even make it to the establishment before I was able to form my opinion. The stylist who was supposed to braid my hair canceled the appointment two hours beforehand and did not return my $10 deposit. I called the business itself to inquire about what was going on and I was met with a rude woman on the phone. She claims that she is the owner of the salon but I can't believe that someone who owns an establishment would speak to someone so dismissively. She refused to give me her name and also said that the stylists operate on their own accord. She was "too busy" to answer my inquiries - I was letting her know that this is my first encounter with the Hairapy Beauty Lounge and that it wasn't a very good impression. She was quick to cop an attitude and hang up on me TWICE. I'm glad I didn't spend my money here, what a waste of $10.

Ari is the epitome of a professional stylist. For starters, she is on time. Whether she styles my own hair or adds extensions, she never misses. I always LOVE my hair! She uses good products to make sure that not only my hair looks great but is healthy. Also, enjoyable atmosphere.

Everything was fine when I walked in. When it came to my hair I'd say ari is heavy handed and rough at times but I didn't complain. After the wash it felt rushed like she wanted it to hurry up and end. Everything went left after I said I was probably going to have to skip the trimming of my ends and she wanted to hurry amd cancel the appointment. When I asked why she didn't respond until she wanted too. She made it sound like the amount that cost of trimming was going to break her wallet or something. She said all she had to do to my hair which I can understand but if I dnt want my ends trimmed I don't. For the appt to get canceled all cause of me refusing to get my ends trimmed is ridiculous and very unprofessional. Especially when I had sat a entire hour after I was scheduled, when she was rough with my head I didn't say anything yet she got mad cause of a trim refuse. I tried to get a understanding with her but she just thought of it as me trying to argue. To me it looked like she didn't want to deal with my hair anyway and if that was the case she should've said something before she started so instead of getting the 95 or the 80+ without the trim she got 45 for what she did do. Very unfortunate unprofessional and rude I will not be returning

Ariane is the consummate hair styling professional. She is always participating in workshops, trainings, conferences, etc. to hone her craft. Ariane is always pleasant and polite. I always enjoy my visit to the Hairapy Beauty Lounge.

The space is nice it has an upscale feel without trying too hard. Arie is amazing and she left my natural hair silky and shiny. She made me feel comfortable and was so professional. I got a haircut and a silk press
