Haircuts at Tiffany’s is by far the best salon I have been to for haircuts. It’s not inexpensive by any means but I promise you it is worth every single penny. You get what you pay for and what you get here is great scheduling, great customer service by all team members, and a fantastic haircut that suits you. I’ve only gotten my hair cut by Tiffany so I can’t and won’t speak about the other stylists. However, I trust her completely and believe she has the best team. One thing to note is that I am not a particularly picky person when it comes to hair as I know it will always grow back but Tiffany made such an impression on me that I don’t plan on going anywhere else. Repeat customer and now a loyal one.

I came here to have my hair dyed for the first time ever. I have naturally black hair and wanted to have an ombre into a silvery white. I initially came for a consult which was very informative, Tiffany did a test strip to see how my hair would lighten, and I ended up booking for the appointment. Traci bleached and dyed my hair the day of the appointment and did an amazing job. I couldn't be more happy with the results. It's been almost 2 months since I had this done and I still love my hair!

I had a wonderful experience here! My hair is thin, frizzy and long and it really needed a lot of care, but Pearl was so kind and helpful and did a wonderful job cutting off the dead ends and making it feel so healthy again! Pearl is so experienced and detailed, such a thorough professional! I really recommend any service here with her :)

Love love love coming here to get my haircut by Tiffany! I’ve been going to her for over 2 years now, so don’t hesitate! Let this be your sign to book, especially if you’re a fellow Asian hair girly :) The front desk staff Carolina is the sweetest and they have a smooth system! They always manage and work well to get me in under short notices. I always get a cut so everything that includes the initial cut, shampoo & head massage (chefs kiss), to final detail cutting & blow dry by Carolina - the full experience is always an 10/10. They have complimentary drinks and small snacks available for an added bonus. My haircuts always grow out so beautifully all thanks to Tiffany and the sweet team!!

I have thick, straight Asian hair and this is the only place I trust to cut or color my hair! The last time I cut my hair was a year ago, also by Tiffany. The first photo is from that same cut a year later; I’m amazed I’ve been able to grow it out for so long and for it to still look good. I went in last week with a desire to completely update my style with a long layered bob. Tracy cut and colored my hair this time, and did an equally amazing job that is exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the results. All of the women who work at this salon are kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. You can always schedule consultations or color tests in advance of a full appointment as well, and they will provide guidance or suggestions on if the style you want is achievable, and the best way to get the results you want. I can’t recommend them enough!

Update: Returning client for Tiffany! My previous haircut lasted 8 months and the shape grew out beautifully. I returned today to trim my curtain bangs and lighten up my laters and split ends. I brought reference pictures and Tiffany cut and styled my hair just as I asked. After the initial cut, wash, conditioning treatment and blow dry, she added finishing touches and checked in with me to be sure she cut my bangs how I wanted. My hair feels light, soft and healthy. *Heads up: bring cash for a discounted price* First-time client to Haircuts at Tiffany’s. I called and was able to book a haircut for the same day. Tiffany herself was my stylist- I told her what I wanted and showed her a picture and she got working straight away on dry hair. She sized-up my current hair, told me her game plan, told me the price and went on with the cut. I asked for curtain bangs with face-framing layers and long round layers. I also got a keratin protein conditioning treatment. She massaged my scalp and forehead, washed, dried and styled my hair all for $105 pre-tip. Honestly a fair price, I could tell she has been doing this a long time. I recommend and I’ll be back myself :)

Do not come here if you have curly hair. Even though I had an appointment she double booked herself. Gave me a haircut in 5 minutes….not a good one and then was unable to style my hair. She was nice enough but honestly for what they charge I should not leave looking worse than how I went in. I saw them do great job on ladies with straight hair so I think they are just not good with curly hair.

Tiffany was so amazing, she offered me realistic constructive criticism on the best journey for my hair. She was polite, honest, and incredibly skilled. Her assistant Carolina was also gentle, kind, and they both worked very well together. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family

It depends on who cuts your hair. This was my second time at this place for a haircut the first time I went I was so so happy with my haircut. Although this time I was a bit disappointed because the lady cut it way shorter than what I wanted also after the haircut I came home and I started feeling my hair has become thin. The volume was gone it felt. May be because of the kinda of haircut.

Such great service and attention to detail! I had hairdresser Pearl and asked for bangs (wispy) for the first time, she did a fantastic job 🥰 I have long straight hair and paid $100 before tip, worth it for peace of mind.

Tiffany herself saw me for a last minute hair dye session. Of 4 different hair salons recommended by google, Tiffany was the only one who responded to me promptly, and offered a partial text consult. I sent over my description, my goal, and photos of my hair and within an hour I had an appointment and was able to walk in. Once I was there Tiffany had a last minute cancelation and was able to turn my consult into a full dying session. She retouched all my damaged hair and gave me her artist recommendations on how to best bring the purple out. During my visit I was offered complimentary drinks and snacks. During the dying process Tiffany told me about her pastime of dancing tango and another stylist came to give me a demonstration and pointers on how she kept her balance. A very memorable experience with undeniable results. I only wish I had more time to experience the full artistic skill of Tiffany. For about 1 foot of hair re-dye (already bleached in areas I wanted colored) it took about 3 hours and $160. Great value for the service provided and I would absolutely return for another hair dye soon. Thank you Tiffany and friends!

It's been 4 years since I've gotten a haircut in the salon since prices has gone up so much but I'm glad I chose this salon to finally get a professional haircut. Haircut at Tiffany's did an amazing job with my hair, she got it exactly how I wanted and she was the first to ever get it right. The women who massage my head during the hair wash, thank you so much! I'm just hoping I can blow dry my hair like the way they did, I'm really happy with it.

From the super sweet receptionist Carolina to my amazing hairstylist Tracy, the staff here put all their love and care into their work. I first came to Tiffany for a consultation six months ago because my hair was weak, thinning, over processed and recently hacked short. She listened patiently and compassionately to my concerns and hopes, and helped formulate a rescue plan. I am so glad I entrusted my makeover to her experienced and artful care! I am thrilled with my natural, stylish, easy to manage results. I get so many complements and look and feel years younger! I will never have to search for another stylist or colorist again. This is my second time at Tiffany’s and I’ve absolutely loved the results of each haircut I’ve received here! Tiffany gives great, honest advice with my hair’s health as the #1 priority over anything else. She truly knows how to layer and take care of Asian hair :) Carolina is also very sweet and kind and gives an amazing hair shampoo experience. My favorite salon in San Diego! I had been going here since I moved here in 2021. I chose this salon bc I wanted to support local Asian woman-owned business and I liked that fact they were closed on Sunday. It gave their staff a day to rest. After going for sometime out of loyalty, I noticed how rude the owners (sisters I suspect) were to their non-Asian employees. There was a kind and professional Latina who worked the front desk, took appointments, colored and blew out hair. It seemed like she did a lot and yet was treated with disrespect. The last time I went, I had a color and conditioning treatment. The lady who worked the desk blew out my hair and stopped in the k middle of it bc she was summoned by the owner. Apparently, blowing out my hair after a color and conditioning (over $125) didn’t include a blow dry. I was taken back. Not only have I been dropping bills at this place, I wanted to support it being Asian myself. But, this took the cake and my business. I will not be going back.

I've been to this hair salon two times to get a layered haircut and both times I have had a truly wonderful experience! Tracy cut my hair both times and she is incredibly talented, always cutting my hair in the exact style I was looking for. She has always been very kind, sweet, and patient with me and I am very happy that I have found a regular hair salon that I can go to. I would highly recommend this salon. :)

I’ve been coming here for years so this review was way overdue. This salon is the only place I’d trust to cut or color my hair. Tiffany is the owner and truly takes pride in her work. She ensures that the outcome of your hair is what you want and will make any honest suggestions to achieve your hair goal. Tracy is the only stylist I will trust to cut my hair and she always does an amazing job. Tiffany and Tracy are also the absolute sweetest! Always a wonderful experience.

Wonderful service from Pearl. From the start until the end, I felt like I was a pampered child haha. Pearl did an excellent job at dry cutting my hair and finishing it off delicately after the wash. Plus, the massage during the shampooing was very therapeutic. I usually never go to a salon...however, I would definitely go here again.

this review is super late but i got a cut and color from tracy and she absolutely killed it! she talked me through the process to get the color i wanted and was honest with me about how it would look, which i appreciated :)) a couple weeks later and it still looks great!
