I recently moved back to Omaha, and didn't know where to go for a haircut. My friend recommended me to Val and I was pleasently suprised. I haven't been anywhere else besides great clips and was worried about quality going from mid-back length hair to close to a fade. However, Val made me feel safe in her chair and she cut my hair with skill I haven't seen before. Not only did I get an amazing haircut, but she made me feel like I had known her for years. Thank you Val, for making me look as special as you made me feel.

I am a transgender man and in my 23 years on this earth I have always had such anxiety surrounding haircuts even to the point of crying but for the first time in my life I didn’t feel the need to over analyze and panic. Thank you so much val will being returning not only for the great haircuts but your wonderful personality. Such a cool chick, love her! 😊

Our experience here was amazing!!!! I am still raving about how great my daughters hair cut came out. We showed Val a picture, and she made it happen she had such good energy, definitely only place I'll be doing my family's hair care

Val is a great hairstylist!! I've been getting curtain bangs and haircuts from her for many years now and I've never been disappointed. My family has also been going to her for over 30 years and we love her! She is very good at what she does.

With decades of hairstyling experience, Val cuts hair like she breathes. I booked an appointment on the same day, gave some reference photos, and went home with the exact haircut I asked for at the lowest possible price I could find in Omaha. Val is a wonderful, warm person who you can immediately click with like a long lost cousin. I highly recommend giving her a visit!

First visit today. I was looking for a fresh new look.. So I figured I would try a new stylists. I discovered Val and from what I read in the reviews I thought I would give her a try. I told her I had a general idea of what I wanted but needed some guidance given my hair type and goals. She took the time to listen and gave the look I was going for but it was even better than expected. I wanted to go with bangs for a younger playful appearance.. And I am so in love with this look. I enjoyed my time there.. She was efficient and very fun to be around. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Absolutely best hair cut my daughter has ever received. We showed her the picture and she did it exactly like the picture, if not better! My daughter went in with middle length hair, and left with layers and gorgeous cut exactly like she wanted!

As a guy, it’s hard to find a place that doesn’t just do fades when you’re looking for a cat. If you’re looking for a nice clean haircut that isn’t a fade, I’d recommend val. I’ve tried a number of different places, and Val is by far the best

I have not had my hair cut for atleast a year, maybe two and was very self conscious. Val was very warm and welcoming. Made time to get me in same day and did a professional and phenomenal job. I will definetly be back.

I walked in after 8 years of not cutting my hair. Val remembered me and my favorite haircut. Salon was clean, bright, and friendly. Val does both appointments and walk ins'. So very convenient!

Probably the best haircut I’ve had in a while! I have long thick hair and Val put in gorgeous layers that took a lot of weight off while still maintaining some of my length. She washed my hair + did a lot of work on it in about an hour and for a reasonable price! Definitely recommend!

Val gives fantastic haircuts and is unbelievably kind. Her prices are cheaper than other places, just make sure to bring cash, she doesn't accept credit cards.

Val is a very nice woman, and does a good job cutting hair. A little more expensive then your chain haircutters. You get what you pay for though.

Visited this shop for the first time. End result of haircut was spot on, and was good. The path we took to get there, was not the most desirable. Extremely rough and aggressive with the clippers, lack of attention and care caused me to bleed from two different moles. Lots of unnecessary talking and profanity on her behalf caused the appointment to start late and also take 10 minutes too long. Won’t be back.

val is a wizard with the clippers; seems as if she could get the job done in her sleep. Definitely one the best haircuts I've gotten and made it even better with her conversations.
