Danielle H is always so amazing at color and balayage. I just know I am in great hands with her. Kirra gave my daughter a haircut that was exactly what she wanted she almost cried. Oliver is awesome at cuts too and gave a haircut worth way more than I spent. Def recommend this place!

Kenzie and JJ are the dynamic duo everyone needs in their lives! This was my first time at this salon. JJ did my color, and gave me the most beautiful chocolate brown color of my dreams. Kenzie did my cut and style, and I’ve never loved a cut so much in my life. They both took what I wanted and gave me even more than I expected. Obsessed with my hair, thank you both.

I had a hair dye appointment with JJ. He gave an amazing consultation to help me figure out what I wanted, and then delivered just what I asked for! JJ explained step-by-step what he was doing so I felt comfortable. I also got my hair cut by Kirra and had a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!

I went in to aquire about pricing and the young man at the counter didn't even lift his head to welcome me. However, Catlyn soon came around from the back and got me squared away promptly and was very cordial. I definitely plan to use their service if they are all as polite as she is.

Katelyn and Oliver are the best! I have blonde hair that has slowly dulled over the years and it’s very difficult to find someone that gives a nice, bright highlight without destroying my hair. I am so happy that I found Katelyn, she really knows how to work with blonde hair and to top it off, she’s a really nice person! If you want highlights, go see Katelyn! Oliver gives me my cut and in my opinion, he is hands down the best stylist that has ever cut my hair. I’ve sent many friends to him and they all tell me how happy they are with his work. Katelyn and Oliver are absolutely professionals and I highly recommend them!

10 Dec 24 - Oliver washed and styled my hair. I have natural curly hair and so does he so he knew what to do with my hair. He was very pleasant & friendly and this beauty shop is very clean and modern. He cut my hair a little too short. I will go back when my hair grows and get it trimmed and will ask for Oliver again. Did not like that I had to give them my credit card number and they would charge me if I did not cancel my appointment and missed it.

I LOVE getting my hair done with Dawn. She perfects my full head of highlights everytime! And really listens to how I want it styled! Plus, she’s so much fun to chat with😊 I really think she’s reasonably priced for the amazing service she provides!

I almost hate to leave this review because this place has some of the most talented people I’ve ever seen in Colorado Springs concentrated into one salon. They are truly artists and I have mad respect for their talent. I’ve had different people cut and color my hair. Mostly because I often can’t schedule out too far in advance because I have been rather sick and I make last moment appointments. I can’t say I have ever not liked any haircut, but my last haircut was my favorite. I think I’ve had a total of 4 different people cut my hair over roughly a year and a half, with one person cutting it twice. It’s my color that has been a source of frustration. I never hate it, but it’s also not what I’m asking for. I ask for blonde, and I mean blonde. My hair has been blonde and I know it’s possible. As demonstrated in the pics I show them. They spend a lot of time, so it’s not for a lack of trying. They get done, and I look at the color and it’s more root beer colored or what I think of as light brown. I specifically say, “don’t go to the roots because I like it a blonde and a little trashy with roots”. They say they are doing this and that, and I trust them to know what they are doing, and I say, “ok, do what you think will have it the intended end result”. The time before the last time (which will be the final time), the person who foiled my hair took so long, I really thought, “this will be wowza”, but I was in that chair so long I missed my hair cutting appointment. And I’m just going to say, if someone takes HOURS to foil my hair, I’m just not going to say, “um no, I don’t like it”. That person took an inordinate amount of time to make my hair look so perfectly blended and natural, but I’m not going for that look. 😢 I just can’t. But it isn’t close to the color I showed them. I will still tip them, and yes I know I should complain, but I already spent hours and I just can’t disrespect the time they put in. The last time, I scheduled an appointment to discuss the color beforehand. Like, I know this place is good, so please, give me blonde hair. Like really blonde. We discussed it. Had the pics. I also found out the last person who took forever and got my color wrong is no longer there. My hair was better, but still not the color I was going for. Here’s the rub, I moved to this place because I have had some difficulty with past haircuts. My hair is very fine, but thick. I’ve noticed some places get a little complacent with cutting skills. And I do not want to be called a triangle head again. Yes, that’s a thing. But I’ve had the color several times. 😭 So why is this so hard? I was just going to give up and try a new place (well I am), but after watching a TikTok today with both stylists and customers warring over this issue, I decided to weigh in here. And this is why I’m going to quit this specific place even though I think they have some of the most talented stylists I’ve ever seen (truly). With two products and gratuity it was $466. This is just TOO much. I know they know when they see that color they can’t NOT know it’s not the color I asked for. But even if I make allowances for stylists getting used to my hair, or seeing a pic different than me, when I spend $300 to $400 on my hair, I want to be floating on air, happy, and I’m not. I read a lot of the reviews and comments. Most are amazing, and the prices really seem to vary. I don’t mind paying for a service and those are artists in my mind, but this is just too much money for what I am getting. While I’m on the subject. I don’t appreciate the “up charges” for things that would normally be included in a service. I’ve been to nice salons all over the United States, and the recent trend for some places to charge extra to blow dry or condition your hair after you already paid good money for a service takes away from the experience. Just charge accordingly. I feel bad for women walking out with wet heads. And I want to see the results with the haircut. Please, don’t charge me extra for that. So to summarize, if you got money to burn…

I have 4A curls and was looking to loosen my curl pattern with a perm. I visited four different salons, but each time I was made to feel as though I didn’t accept my natural hair and should just embrace it as it is. I love myself and enjoy experimenting with new styles, so I knew a perm was what I wanted. When I saw Margarita, I explained what I wanted, and she never questioned my choice. I visited my favorite Total Concept Stylist, Kristen Blacker, today! Kristen Blacker always provides me with outstanding service. She is exceptionally talented in her craft. I would not allow anyone else to touch my hair. I get so many compliments from people on my hair since Kristen has routinely been taking care of my hair. She is amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!

JESSICA FOWLER is an incredible stylist. (Update: she is no longer employed there, She is at Stone Beauty Collective. Give her a call, you won't regret it) I have been through dozens of hair stylist since I moved to the Springs in 2005 without success. I have difficult, challenging hair and Jessica has been the only stylist able to give me a great haircut and style. My hair is extremely thin and it needs an accomplished, talented stylist to give me a cut that works, that looks great even when I style it myself, and is able to cover my thinning spots and work with my cowlicks. Another plus is I can get the same incredible cut every time I visit, a problem I have had in the past, but no more. 100% my forever stylist. So happy I found her. -

Trystyan is the best for hair coloring. I've been going to Trystyan for years, and she never fails to leave me feeling better than when i left! I always get so many compliments on my purple. If you need your hair colored, you can't go wrong with Trystyan.

I could not recommend Trystyan Outlaw enough!! She's super friendly, resourceful and does an AMAZING job with hair! I wanted to go Calico, and she delivereddd, I was surprised by the price, thinking it'd be more expensive than it was by how perfect it came out (not to glaze, just super satisfied lol). I had a wonderful appointment with Malia today. She’s so very sweet, kind, caring, and friendly. Malia colored my hair, and cut and styled my hair. She did a beautiful job with everything she did. I love my hair now, and it feels so nice and so healthy. Malia was very accommodating and wanted to be sure I felt good about the color and hairstyle. If you’re looking for a great hairstylist you will love Malia.

I just had my cut done by Dawn and color by Trystan! Both were phenomenal. I have a blunt bob which can be tough to get exactly right, and Trystan gave me a beautiful root blend that is perfect for the remainder of my pregnancy. Highly recommend and will return to see both of them!

She has done natural colors on me and they have been beautiful; but my absolute favorites are her vivid work. Honestly I give her an idea or a picture and just step back and let her work her magic. This is my second time scheduling with Margarita. She does an amazing job as well as has a great personality. I was with my previous stylist for 26 years so switching was a little scary when I moved. I highly recommend her. She has a flexible schedule that works with well with mine. !
