I live right across the street and I first booked on a whim. I didn’t pick a specific stylist; instead, I decided to leave it up to the universe and wow did that work out well for me. I have curly hair that I never knew what to do with until Lexi worked her magic and I fell in love with my natural style!!! I’ve been getting regular cuts since then and today, I did a color service and I’m so obsessed with the results!!! Lexi is seriously a magician. The salon is so beautiful, prices are very fair, all of the stylists are such a vibe, and they are super easy to book with. I’m a customer for life!!

Absolutely love this salon and am so happy to have found such a good salon in Columbus. I see Jerry for haircuts and blowouts and he is amazing at both. He does long layers in my hair and is able to create a lot of volume and movement. I also see Lexi for coloring and she is an artist with hair color- I’m a brunette and she used hair color to add dimension and some lighter pieces to my hair. It looks natural which is what I was looking for. Highly recommend both of them

I’m originally from Columbus and came to Brett by recommendation of a friend during the pandemic- I got hooked and now despite living hundreds of miles away, I only get my hair done by him! I’ve stayed devoted now for 4 years only booking my cuts when I’m home to see my family. WORTH IT he’s a genius.

Had an appointment with Cassidy to trim my hair into a pixie cut. It went absolutely amazing. The studio vibes are friendly and welcoming and everyone was so sweet. I loved my hair and felt like my vision was executed perfectly. Thanks Cassidy!

Brett has been cutting my hair for the past year and a half. Not only is he super talented but he’s also such a joy to be around. It’s the first time I’ve ever truly been happy with my hair. I always leave Hairlove feeling confident and beautiful. Thank you, Brett!!💕

Have been seeing Lexi to color my hair for years and love her so much we follow her everywhere she goes. I always love how my hair looks and feels after an appointment with her. She recently helped me recover from a really bad haircut and made me feel so much better! The space was also very clean and relaxing. Highly recommend Lexi and this salon!

Awesome space, very chill. Lexi did an incredible job of walking through where my hair was and talking about how to get it to where I wanted it to be. She gave me styling tips and taught me a lot about how to manage my hair type, what would work best for me. We talked through an entire color plan. She gave me an AMAZING cut and was fun to talk to the whole time. Can't recommend her, or this salon, enough!

Alayna is nothing short of amazing! I’ve been seeing Alayna for my curly hair for a long time, and I’m so lucky to have her. She is incredibly meticulous in her work and clearly cares deeply about her clients and the results she achieves. Alayna’s expertise with curly hair is second to none, and I always leave her salon feeling amazing. If you have curly hair and want a stylist who truly understands and values your locks, Alayna is the one to see. Highly recommended!

Cannot say enough glowing things about Hairlove! Happy, welcoming vibes all around: the staff, the space, even the music. Special shout out to Lexi, who took the time to understand my goals and ensure that she and I were aligned— and then delivered perfectly. The results were gorgeous (dynamic, lived-in blonde coloring) and exactly what I had envisioned but didn’t quite know how to articulate at first. In addition to being excellent at her craft, Lexi is kind, fun and easy to chat with, and can pull off a flawless Whitney Houston lip sync. 10/10 would recommend Hairlove and Lexi!

Hairlove is hands down the best salon in Columbus. The staff is friendly, the space is beautiful, and they consistently deliver amazing hair. (I’d love to give a big recommendation to Jerry. He listens to what you’re looking for, and can bring it to life. He also provides great feedback on how to achieve your hair goals in between services. Oh- and he’s also a gem of a human being.) I’ve lived in Columbus for 13 years and have been to many salons in the area- and none of them compare to hairlove. 5 stars <3

I can’t tell you that HairLove Salon is the absolute best in Columbus. If I tell you how comfortable and friendly the energy is at HairLove then you’ll want to go there also. If you go there to work with any of the stylists- who all pride themselves on current techniques and understand how every individual’s hair type and lifestyle is a crucial element of loving your hair- you’ll find out you can’t go anywhere else again. If that happens then all the other stylists in Columbus, who are probably okay, will have no one to patron them. So in the interest of keeping everyone happy and in business I’m not telling you to definitely make an appointment at HairLove.

I had my appointment with Alex and I can not express enough how much I love the service! I usually go in to an appointment with a baseline of what I want but I don’t really know much about hair and what goes well with my features. So it’s always important to me to have a stylist that is willing to talk with me before anything is done to my hair. Alex was great off the bat she talked to me in depth what I wanted and made me feel at ease the whole time and talked me through the whole process! She was also just so kind and easy to talk to she made the whole experience so fun! At the end of it all I was blown away with my hair she completely understood what I wanted and made it look better than I could imagine! I will 100% being going to her over and over again and recommend her highly to anyone who needs a new stylist!

I have been going to Hairlove for a year or so now -- and recently wanted a dramatic change. My blonde highlights were growing out and I couldn't keep up with maintaining them. I recently saw Lexi (first time meeting her too) & verrrry quickly realized I was in good hands. She nailed the images I showed her beforehand and was very thorough as she was explaining the entire process. She even gave me great recommendations for aftercare / styling tips -- sent me home with shampoo & conditioner samples! I love a little goodie bag. Lexi is your girl if you're looking for a confidence boost. Will definitely be returning! Also, Hairlove as a whole is one of the most inclusive, positive places I've stepped into. I will not be going anywhere else!

I have been going to Lexi for color for 10 years now! She is the best, I started going to her when she was based in Chicago. Even though she is in Columbus, I make sure to make my appointments and travel to see her! Not only is she super knowledgable of color, she makes sure your hairs stays healthy.

Jerry is amazing!!! Hands down the best two haircuts that I have ever had. My hair has never looked better. He is a great person that takes pride in his work. I highly recommend him.

Lexi/Alex did a wonderful job with my hair. I am extremely pleased with my results. I am writing this weeks after she did my hair and the way she applied it makes it look as if I just had it done. Lexi has the ability to look at what you have and what you are hoping for and really giving a beautiful result. I would highly recommend her service!! HairLove, as a salon, has a friendly and welcoming group of people.

I’ve been to six salons in Columbus in as many years. I have textured, wavy/curly hair that’s always been a pain for most hairstylists to try and handle. Never have I ever received a better haircut, color and education on how to take care of and EMBRACE my natural hair. Kassidy, you are phenomenal. I felt so at ease and welcomed in a beautiful space from the start, which has not been the case at other salons. Kassidy consulted with me about my hair goals and what I was looking for, and was somehow able to pull the vision out of my head that I likely did a poor job of describing. Kassidy talked me through her thinking and what she planned to do and literally blew me away with the result. I’ve never really *loved* my hair after the first wash post-professional styling/cut/color/gloss, but Kassidy did such a fab job creating a style that works for my low maintenance needs and wants. I’ve received so many compliments on my color and cut from colleagues, clients, and a person in the grocery store. I was so relaxed during my entire appointment and have simply never had as great of an experience as I did at Hairlove. Cheers to you, Kassidy!

The atmosphere is very comfortable, hanging plants draped over high shelves and popular music playing. Everyone is always friendly. Hannah does an amazing job on my hair everytime! The only downside is that they are so awesome that they are usually booked weeks in advance so plan ahead.

This place is absolutely awesome — my experience here made me realize how terrible my experiences other places were beforehand LOL! Super convenient location with lots of street parking; and wonderful clean and inviting interior, very queer friendly, lots of plants and kind people. Overall just super welcoming! The stylists are very very good at their jobs and committed to giving their clients what they want and making them feel confident, and for super reasonable prices for their level of work IMO ~~ I’ll never go anywhere else <3
