If I could give 0 stars I would. I refrained from posting a review in November but this is ridiculous. I had been going to Ayanna since at least 2019. In November, I had an appointment scheduled . Since the start of Covid, I had been checking in through the app and waiting for a response to come into the building PER her policy. Up until this point, she never stated that the process had changed. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment and checked in via the app. My appointment was for 12:00 and at 12:14 I received a notification saying that I was a no show. I walked into the salon and her previous client was just getting up. I told her that I checked into the app and she claimed that she never got it and she asked me to show her that I checked in and I did. She then tells me that she was unable to do my hair because she was booked due to the holidays. I told her I was in the parking lot the entire time AND I saw when someone in a Hyundai brought her some food. She still refused to service me and refused to refund my deposit, which is the main reason for my review. I told her that I was filing a claim with my card company. I was able to provide proof and I was refunded. One month later, Ayana charged my card for ANOTHER $30. Thankfully I was reimbursed. Yes the deposit was small but it was MY money that I worked for. I would have did the exact same thing if it was only $10. Ayanna, you really are a disgusting human being and I hope you get every bit of the energy that you have shown towards me!

Ayanna does an AMAZING job! Highly recommend for silk presses. My curls come back after washing!
