I was a model for Ramon and he did great highlights the first time ( a partial not full by his decision ). The second time I met with him we were touching them up and once he blow dried my hair it was much MUCH darker and had tones I never had in my hair or requested after emphasizing that I wanted the exact same thing again. He said it would lighten up with time but he switched some tones as we approach winter/fall - again I did not request this and the color never lighten. I also had a huge root to color differential, I had about an inch of black and then the coloring had started. he also suggested a haircut so I said okay we can do some layers - he did 2 levels - had to get it immediately fixed. Yes I was a model but please do not offer a service you are not confident or ready for. I contacted him several times to get the color lightened/ get it fixed but no answer. I wouldn’t recommend being a model at the location or being serviced by Ramon.

Illy is the best!! I’ve been on a blonde journey for six months with her and each time, my hair looks so great with lighter highlights. She’s done such an amazing job that I couldn’t think of anyone else to handle doing my wedding her, but her!

OMG❤️❤️❤️❤️‼️Laura is absolutely Amazing!! She’s so skilled and she gave me most beautiful haircut!! She really is a gem💚 I would recommend her to anyone who wants to have a very stylish look. I destroyed my hair with box dye for years before i came to Hairroin salon. I never understood why my hair wouldn’t grow but i was desperate to have magenta hair. Stefanny literally did some magic sorcery and got my hair from thin bristles to long luscious mermaid hair. And then this literal hair angel, somehow didn’t throw me out the chair when i said I wanted to go blonde LOL. She step by step (very patiently) took me from THICCCC magenta to Barbie blonde. She broke down the process of what we needed to do to keep the integrity of my hair and do it the right way without burning off my hair. I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the stellar service that Stefanny has provided me over the years to the beautiful and unique vibe of the salon, Hairroin is the place to go for beautiful hair. Just got home from my haircut with Stefanny and I'm obssessed with it! I've been going to her for over a year now and I love that I can bounce ideas off her of what I want/don't want and she'll give me her professional opinion on what will look best and how to style it. I'd definitely recommend her and Hairroin Salon.

My stylist is Stefanny Snow I’ve been going to her for coming up on 4 years. Great service, always great color and cut - overall great work. Vibes of the salon are edgy but chill and stylists /staff are always friendly. Walkable neighborhood with cafes and restaurants nearby - there’s a reason I travel from the westside to get there!

Stefanny has given me the best haircut experience ever, honestly. As someone with sensory issues who hates getting my hair done, she’s listens to what I want and executes it exactly while also giving me sensory breaks and doing it quickly enough that I don’t get overwhelmed. The rest of the staff are also lovely as well. Definitely get your hair done by her, sensory issues or not. Could not recommend enough.

The hair salon I’ve been searching all over LA for. The location couldn’t be cuter—every detail sets such a fun but upscale atmosphere, and the staff is just as excellent. Laura, one of the owners, is so sweet, and I see Joey for my hair, who gives me exactly what I’m looking for every time. (Even when I don’t even know what I’m looking for) Couldn’t recommend more!

I had a wonderful experience at Hairroin. Customer service was awesome! Alizeh was so kind and I she really understood the kind of cut that I was wanting. I have fine hair and it gets weighed down with a lot of product and she knew exactly what was best when styling and cutting so I wouldn't feel weighed down. She also styled it in a way that is easy and sustainable for me to maintain at home which I appreciate a lot! She took a lot of care with my length - making sure I was comfortable with my face framing length and not having too short of a bang. I will be back in a few months for another cut from her :)

A+++++++! My very first ever getting anything done outside of my Korean Salons that I’m familiar with and definitely not my last at this place! I was greeted by the friendly host and was then introduced to Laura who was very friendly and warm! I have a very nonchalant attitude about my hair and didn’t really think about what I wanted done and just scheduled a hair cut with hair treatments.. when Laura saw me she had recommended a more appropriate treatment (saved me some $$$😂) AND I trusted her with how she would style my hair and omg i loved it!!!!!!!!! 😩😩😩 exactly how I saw it would be and huhuhu ended up buying a product she recommended for my stubborn scalp flakes!!!!!!😩 ALSO WORTH MENTIONING, they may or may not have a healthcare worker discount 🤣🤌🏽 she knew Nurses were chismosas and would def recommend her to ALL MY FRIENDS! ❣️

Alizeh gave me my first ever perm and I'm obsessed with the results! She talked me through the process throughout my consultation, and gave great advice for someone with no perm experience. I wanted a natural look which I absolutely got and couldn't be happier! at my next appointment I'll be braver and go for a bigger curl!

I've been seeing Laura Marsella for about four years now and she's always been amazing but she just keeps stepping it up. Gave me the best haircut of my life two days ago and I have been getting nonstop compliments. She's also just very fun to hang out with as you get your hair done. I’ve been coming to Hairroin to see Joey (@hairea51 on instagram) for around three years now, and as someone who used to make random projects out of their hair, nobody has managed to keep me as a client that long ! He always understands exactly what my vision is and achieves it in a way that is realistic for my hair . I haven’t seen my natural hair color in a decade so it can be damaged at times, and I prefer an unconventional shag cut that not everyone does right . But Joey always makes it happen ! He has also taken on my mother as a client (who is highly skeptical of anyone’s salon chair) and now he is the only one she trusts to take away her grays ! I have not seen anyone else for services at Hairroin but can attest that everyone else I’ve seen leave the salon while I’m getting my hair done has looked phenomenal ! And the customer service is wonderful . Everyone there is so sweet and attentive . Would definitely say this place is 100% a spot worth visiting 💇‍♀️👩‍🎤

Monica always takes great care, she's such a professional and an incredible artist. She listens and works with you to get the look you want, and my hair always comes out looking incredible. She's also fantastic with color - highly recommend!
