I've been coming here for almost a year due to a recommendation from a dear friend. My hair is long and light blonde...one would think a blunt cut with some face framing is simple but it's actually a challenge to pull off as one wrong snip and there's no way to hide it on light, straight hair. I found Hairspray a year ago because I was looking to replace my hairstylist that I had used in the past. As you all know, finding a hair stylist is a job in itself! Hairspray immediately came up and it had 4.5 stars and alot of positive reviews. I called and was instantly helped out by Tiffany and by the end of the call, I had been fitted into her books and was texting her pictures of how my hair looked and what I wanted to achieve. Fast forward to a year, and Tiffany is still doing her thing and my permanent hair stylist❤️❤️ I love Tiffany! She's very talented, professional, such a perfectionist, and the sweetest person you will EVER meet! I would highly recommend Tiffany! I have been getting my hair done by Pam for 2 years now and she always does an amazing job. Always welcoming and chill vibes when I’m with her. I also love the vibe of the salon, all the stylists are always laughing and the music is playing it’s just a great salon experience. I have blonde hair and she gives the best balayage and highlights always!

I was looking for a new hair stylist as I moved here about 3 months ago and was in desperate need of a hair cut. I had looked up a few places and hairspray had great reviews and looked like it had a great vibe so I thought I'd walk in to check it out. Tiffany was there and was not busy so she took me right in and I am super happy with the cup that she did. She's super sweet and personable and has great energy. I highly recommend her and the salon to anyone, and will definitely be going back.

I followed Tiffany from a salon in Pacific Beach to Hairspray Salon because she is totally worth it. Women know how hard it is to find a good hair stylist who actually listens to you and does what you ask her/him to do. I’ve had many different stylists that were good and then moved to another location that was too far to follow. Thank goodness Tiffany went about the same distance and there was no way I was going to try and look for another stylist and start over. Tiffany is amazing at what she does. She listens and creates more than what to expect. I can rely on her for my appts and she is easy to talk to like a good girlfriend feeling. She’s really good at what she does so I highly recommend her and can’t thank her enough for saving my hair many times and making it healthy again. She’s the best.

I have nothing but good things to say about Shanna and Hairspray. She did my haircut exactly the way I explained it. I was telling her how annoying I find my hair because it's so frizzy and curly and she told me all about the keratin treatment. We didn't have time to do it the day I cut my hair but I came back tonight and couldn't be more thrilled with the results! Shanna is so much fun and makes the entire process feel like it goes by in the blink of an eye! If you don't have an appointment scheduled with her right now then call and make an appointment ASAP! :) I'll definitely be coming back.

I’ve been seeing my stylist, Tiffany, for a few years now and she just recently moved here to Hairspray and the experience has been great. I’m very cautious of who I allow to color my hair, which I why I followed Tiffany here. She’s knowledgeable, patient and does an amazing job of taking care of my hair and gives me the best blowouts! My color and cuts have never been better thanks to Tiff!

Tiffany is my go to for about 1 year and a half now. She is amazing at what she does! After getting a botched haircut from my trip this past February she helped me so much in fixing my hair cut and has helped me reach my hair goals. I always get compliments on my color.

Tiffany is the best! This is my third time seeing her and I will continue to do so! This was my first time at the Hairspray Salon but it was sooo cute! And there was parking out front and street parking nearby even tho it is on the Main Street in Hillcrest, so it’s great not to have to stress about that! The salon has an upstairs and cute decor. Restaurants are close by as well if you hungry while processing. Tiffany is so easy to work with and brought the life back into my hair and was able to squeeze me in for a last min appt just in time for my upcoming bday! I’m pretty easy when it comes to my hair and the styles I do to it and she makes everything I throw at her come to fruition when she works her magic. She is funny, down to earth and super relatable. Book your appt with her for sure! She does amazing cuts and colors, most importantly has so much flexibility 💜 can’t wait to come back again!!!

Took a chance as a first-timer at Hairspray Salon on a last-minute opening for a haircut with Shanna. I showed her lots of inspiration pictures of different styles and ideas, and she did not shy away from the challenge! Shanna combined all the aspects I was looking for, and brought my vision to life with expertise and enthusiasm! I will be happily returning next time I need a haircut.

Lauren was delightful. Super friendly and did exactly what I wanted. The salon is in a small strip mall but don't let that sway you. It's a very pretty salon with great stylists.
