I recently moved here and was desperately seeking a stylist for color & cuts. I am so lucky that I found Lolita. Very talented. She is a professional. Has all of the necessary products. That wasn't the case with 2 other salons that I tried before finding her. She is so sweet and so interesting, your appointment will fly by. I highly recommend Lolita :)

Lolita is an awesome; listens to what u want and don't want, great humor, easy to talk to. I had issues with previous color and Lolita did a great job fixing it. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new stylist, change.

Lolita was the best when she took me in without an appointment after I have called 5 different places due to a cancellation. I had an even day after, and she saved the day for me !!! I was incredibly lucky, and she was on point listening to all my hair needs , can’t wait to go back and get my hair done again !! Thank you Lolita.

Lolita did an amazing job and my hair turned out exactly as I wanted! My hair was a really dirty blonde and she was able to brighten it so much. She also styled my hair just like the picture I shared with her beforehand. Definitely recommend!!

I recently moved to San Diego and finding a new hairdresser is a difficult task. After reading all the wonderful reviews about Lolita I decided to get my haircut here. She is just as lovely and talented as everyone writes. My ends are always perfectly cut and she never takes off too much as I request because I want to grow my hair long. She works with great products too. I discovered new products that I ordered with her and am now using at home. A warm welcome by her and her dog Toni. She has a very kind open personality. Always offers me the best advice both on hair as well as on San Diego and its surroundings. Her salon is located in Sola Salons and offers a peaceful environment without noise of other businesses or clients. This way she gives you undivided and personal attention during the haircut. I always look forward to my appointment.

Lolita is an amazing hairstylist and really brought my hair back to life after it had been dry and damaged! She did a beautiful layered cut as well as touching up my roots which had turned gray. I’m in my mid 20s and unfortunately my parents turned gray at a young age which was passed down to me and something that I’m often times embarrassed of. However Lolita made me feel comfortable and fixed my roots so nicely that I no longer have any grays! I love my new hair and feel more confident in myself with this touch up! If you struggle like me with any gray roots or hair, I highly recommend Lolita, she did an excellent job! Her studio is comfortable, relaxing, and a lovely environment. She will elegantly take care of all your hair needs :)

Lolita knows how to cut kids hair very well, our son used to see a barber since he was 6 and after growing out his hair refused to go to a barber for fear he would simply be given a buz cut. Matthew was so happpy Lolita cut his hair exactly as requested and begged that I only take him to her from now on. These before and after pictures show it all~scary unruly hair to our 12 y/o Matthew''s new cleancut haircut🙏 Lolita is outstanding with both clippers and scissors and it took both of her outstanding skills to get our son's hair cut perfectly the way he likes it.

My first-time here, and Lolita made my long drive totally worth the time, energy and money! She’s truly a gem; calm, kind, caring, patient, professional, and every other positive adjective I can think of. Located inside the Sola Salons building, her salon’s vibe is imbued with an almost Zen-like minimalist serenity. She gave me the sweetest Bob cut, which is what I asked for. I liked that she doesn’t rush through the creative process. In-addition, she offered a few ideas of styles that would suit my hair, without seeking to impose. Giving full rein to her decades of tonsorial artistry, prowess and imagination, I would not hesitate to try something new for my future visit. And oh, I so enjoyed meeting with her adorable little furry companion, her miniature pinscher, Charlie. Only regret was I forgot to take pics in the end😍

My hair feels so much healthier after getting a good haircut. It is definitely more manageable and looks great with the new color. I’m glad she recommend doing it in stages to get it to the color I desire. Lolita is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. She definitely knows what she is doing and her prices are reasonable.

She did such a fantastic job on creating subtle blond (partial) highlights on my fine brown hair! It is the perfect color and blended perfectly. The slightly layered chin length bob haircut she gave me is wonderful. She pays attention to details and will do exactly what you want.

When I lived in San Diego, 14 years ago I was so happy to find Lolita. She was the best stylist I've ever had for my thick, wavy hair. She understands hair, texture and what works for you. I moved away but never forget her! Fast foward, my daughter has been begging me for a haircut but I could never find someone that understood her thick, curly hair. We now have family that lives in San Diego so I reached to Lolita and she was able to see my daughter on short notice. My daughter loves loves loves her haircut! Lolita cut her hair to frame her face and knows how to cut curly hair. I'm so happy I was able to reconnect with Lolita and when we're back in town it'll be my turn to get an awesome haircut. Dont hesitate to reach out. She is the nicest person and you will leave her salon feeling beautiful.

(Please read to the end of this review for important update): I cannot say enough about lovely Lolita! I thank my lucky stars that I was able to have my hair completely made over by her. She completely got ride of my white roots, gave me gorgeous highlights, and a PERFECT cut. All this within a very reasonable timeframe and I seriously came out transformed! I felt like someone gave me a brand new head of hair! I came to her a hot mess and she didn’t judge me, she just did her magic. Now for the best part: I’m writing this review over 3 weeks later and my hair still feels and looks beautiful. For some reason it feels thicker and has more volume and is shinier than ever. It’s almost like she did another process to give me NEW hair. Honestly, if I didn’t experience this myself, I would not believe it. But if you need a hair artist that listens, understands your hair frustrations, and does her best to make you happy. RUN (don’t walk) to Lolita! Is he is also a sweetheart and I can’t wait to visit her again.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I have been going to the same person for 20 years. I was nervous about seeing someone new but Lolita is so genuine and she listened to all my concerns. My hair is perfect❤️The color the cut and she styled it . I almost started crying it looks so amazing. I’ll be seeing her again ( already made an appointment) She is the sweetest person and I’m so glad I took a chance to see her. And her studio is so inviting and relaxing. I decided to have my natural gray hair grow in and to stop coloring my hair after 35 years. I thought I'd go cold turkey and spent 6 months with gray grow out and dark brown hair. Not a pretty look. Rather than giving in and going back to haircolor hell, I decided to look for a gray hair specialist to help me in my transition. Found Lolita, initially spoke to her on the phone, sent pictures of my existing hair and my final goal. She has a passion and love for her work. It took a couple of hours, but only because it's not easy to blend two colors into one natural looking gray. Mission accomplished! My hair looks healthy and natural. I highly recommend Lolita. She's the best!

I was kind of hesitant going in. I haven’t liked how I looked for about 10 years, ever since I started gaining weight. HOWEVER, when I came out, OMG I loved it!! Lolita worked really hard to get me in & out + showed me how to stole my hair in a way that’s doable for me (especially since my depression hardly gets me to care about my appearance). It looks so nice now & Lolita is so nice/friendly/professional. She made my whole week cuz I honestly did *not* think I’d ever think I was anything but ugly ever again and she showed me it’s possible! I highly, highly recommend her!

Lolita is fantastic! I just moved to SD and decided to go with Lolita as my new stylist/ She was extremely thorough and had me send her a photo and we sat and discussed exact tones and cut. Once my hair was done, I was shocked. It was exactly the tone and shape I wanted. I will definitely be returning.

So happy I found Lolita! I had not had a good haircut since my hairstylist of 20 years retired 3 years ago. She actually recommended her. Lolita was attentive and after listening to what I wanted, made some suggestions and showed me pictures of what she thought would look good. She nailed it!
