I absolutely never leave reviews but felt I had to because as another reviewer said, paid for a massage and got a rub. Neck felt worse than going in.

I had such a wonderful experience at this hand and stone location. The front desk staff went above and beyond to answer any questions I had, and the massage therapist did a fantastic job with my massage. I can’t wait to come back, what a great experience. 10/10

Posting to say that I highly recommend Dilcia! I've had two facials with her so far and will keep going back for more. She is great about tailoring her recommendations to you specifically and is very knowledgeable about skincare ingredients (even making sure I knew I may want to look into stopping use of an ingredient contra-indicated for me that a doctor had missed). Her facials also include massage elements and are extremely relaxing. I always am in a better mood leaving a facial with Dilcia (and my skin is glowing!)--so grateful she's at Hand & Stone.

LOGISTICAL NIGHTMARE – A Total Waste of Time! My experience with this spa has been nothing short of frustrating. I had my first appointment in November, and as I was leaving, the receptionist informed me about their Black Friday gift card promotion. She assured me that the gift card could be applied toward a membership. A few days later, I called to place my order, paid, and then was informed that the gift card could not actually be used for a membership. This led to the inconvenience of waiting several days for a refund. Weeks later, I received an email about a Tuesday facial promotion. When I called to take advantage of the offer, I was told there was no availability on Tuesday but that they could book me for Saturday at 6 PM instead. I agreed, thinking it would resolve the issue. When I arrived on Saturday, I was met with accusations from the front desk, claiming I had used multiple email addresses to exploit their first-timer pricing. I was baffled and pulled up the email I had received, which clearly detailed the promotional pricing. The receptionist then backtracked and claimed the price was only valid on Tuesdays. If that’s the case, why was I booked for Saturday in the first place when I specifically called about the promotion? At this point, I was frustrated but tried to work with them. The receptionist offered to rebook me for the following Tuesday at the same time to honor the promotional pricing. Defeated but hopeful, I agreed—only for her to inform me moments later that the time slot was not available after all. This spa is an absolute logistical nightmare. Their poor communication, unprofessional handling of customers, and inability to honor their own promotions make it clear that they do not value their clients’ time. Reading the other reviews, it seems that others agree that this place has severe logistical/booking issues. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Edit: to the automated canned response: I did already email you before you posted that, but I haven’t heard anything back.

Dilcia gives the best facials. She has helped me improve my acne prone skin so much, and always does a peel or treatment that best fits my current skin condition. She extracts without leaving any pain or pigmentation, and always follows up with a relaxing facial shoulder massage. She is extremely thorough when it comes to knowing her clients, and has notes on what products and regimens you use so that she can tailor your facial to your needs. She truly cares about each client and I continue to request her for my facials, as I know I can trust her knowledge and process.

Dilcia is a professional - I always feel like she has my best interest in mind. I have been doing peels with her for forehead wrinkles and she is very cautious to not burn me (I have sensitive skin). One time, I forgot to follow instructions and used my tetranoin before the treatment and out of an abundance of caution we didn’t do the peel that time (we did a great hydrating facial instead). She gives great recommendations for products, always helps me figure out how to use my points towards upgrades… I really appreciate her gentle voice and hands. I always request her specifically!

Was gifted a spa/facial treatment from my Uncle who has a membership with this company. I had the best facial with Jadah — she was kind, funny and talked me through the entire process. Very sweet energy and my face looked flawless after the session. For my massage, I had Shawn and it was the best massage I’ve received in a long time! He was super sweet, attentive and he worked out every knot in my body. I left the session feeling at ease and relaxed. My only critique was the scheduling/process of the treatments. It felt like there needed to be better communication between members of the staff — lots of confusion about who was providing the services and at what time etc. After my facial, I had to re-dress and return to the main waiting area, only to get undressed again for my massage in a separate waiting area. I think it could of been a muchhh more seamless process. Other than that, all the staff were kind. My services were amazingggg and I’d be willing to try the location again.

All staff here are friendly and comforting. I struggle with social anxiety and feel awkward having other people do services on me. Dilcia made me comfortable with a quiet service and an incredible scalp massage as add-on with my facial. I've had body massages here too that were so thorough. I never feel rushed or pressured which is extra important in feeling truly relaxed.

I have been seeing Dilicia for a few months now. I started to struggle with acne and she has been so helpful in my journey to clear my skin up. She is incredibly knowledgeable and truly truly cares about her clients. Go see Dilicia! She is really amazing at what she does.

I love the customer service. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The manager Korey has a great attitude and is very welcoming. Therapist Kino has a great technique and the right amount of pressure. I highly recommend if you need to decompress.

So disappointed I finally get an appointment only to show up and to have it cancelled due to tech having blood pressure issues.! My appointment was for 10am and I get a phone call at 1007am about a cancellation. Someone could have notified me ahead of time very unprofessional.

This is the best location of Hand & Stone! Dilcia gives THE best facial I have ever received and I’ve been going to Hand & Stones for years. Getting a facial with Dilcia somehow feels like a therapy session; as she aims to also make you feel fully calm, relaxed and happy. She truly listens to you and isn’t just doing a cookie-cutter facial. She tailors it to exactly what you need. Not only that, but she gives the most amazing, helpful skin advice and never makes you feel bad for asking questions nor makes you feel rushed. She doesn’t try to push you to buy certain products like other estheticians I’ve had in the past but just truly wants you to have the best, glowing skin possible. She is the reason I was glowing and confident on my wedding day. Thank you for EVERYTHING Di! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her.

I absolutely love love coming to this spa for a much needed spa day, to touch up with a facial before important dates or just to relief some stress. The staff is super nice & friendly, the environment is clean and relaxing. And the products are amazing. Dilcia is by far one of my favorites in this location, but nonetheless they are all great. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone interested!!!

Im very disappointed at this point. I have membership with them. First two months i didn’t use and I transferred one to my husband for massage and the lady was horrible. They also charge me extra $10 for transfer. After trying to reach to the manager they never give me refund or manager care to call me. But I was stuck because of the membership. I went for another facial with Delcia she usually do better job than Jade she is horrible. Delcia today didn’t use whole hour I was late 5 minutes and took me get ready another 5 minutes but she was done with me within 40mins in. After asking for refund for my charged money for next month they told they can’t because I cancelled to close to payment time. I mean I didn’t use the service. But anyway this place is horrible. Worst customer service. Scammers ate there. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

My friend is currently at the emergency room with her eyes swollen shut after receiving a facial at the Williamsburg, NY location on July 9. She went back a few days ago and the team refused to tell her what they used on her face. Waiting to see what the doctors think is going on. These pictures don’t do it justice.

Came in specifically to use a gift card. Had seen a previous review that someone tried to use a gift card and it was not honored so I called the day before and gave the gift card number. Was told I could use it. After my service I was told the gift card would not be honored and there was “nothing that the manager could do”. Will not be back to this location unfortunately.

I originally went to a different Hand and Stone location out in LI with my mother (she gifted me a gift card) and I enjoyed my services there. I was a little apprehensive about trying the brooklyn location, but all of my worries were for nothing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I’ve had two deep tissue massages by Andrew and they were great. He’s very knowledgeable about athletic training and its effects on the tightnesses of your muscles. Not only did he get rid of all of the knots in my shoulders, but he gave me some great suggestions on how to prevent them and a few workout tips. I had two facials done by Jadah, and she is so kind and informative. She explains every single step of the facial, what products she’s using and which products I should incorporate into my regular skincare routines. I’ve definitely fallen asleep while getting a facial from her bc she is so gentle. Overall, I’ve had a great experience so far with Hand & Stone Williamsburg. The only complaint I have is that the parking in that area is atrocious, but that’s totally out of their control.
