Absolutely fantastic service from the front desk. Stephanie is amazing and likely the best masage therapist I have ever had. She really listens to what your body is saying and has the perfect combination of stress relief and pain relief. Will continue coming for my monthly services!

I arrived with lower back muscle tension. Marlisa Nelson, MT, did her therapeutic, relaxing magic customized to my post-surgery. I left feeling my stiffness loosened and was walking more freely and felt pampered. She also strongly advised me on walking straight to help. There is also a sweet, young lady working the front desk, who happens to be a professional Physical Therapist. She recommended and wrote down the names of a couple of stretches I should try (went the extra mile) as well as demonstrated them for me. She even fills out our tablet entrance survey for us using our responses to show she cares and save us time. This is efficient. I wish I could go 5 days a week for Marlisa’s gifted therapy! I feel so hopeful and look forward to all my appointments. TJ

I’ve been going to Hand and Stone for two years now & I love it! I signed up for a membership after my first massage. Everyone that works at this location is so professional and patient with you. The massage therapists take their time and listen attentively to your needs. I would highly recommend going here!

Amanda & Hannah at the front desk were incredibly personable and professional. Jocelyn, Madison & Sydney provided a wonderful facial for my daughters and me. They explained treatment options and benefits extremely well. Highly recommend the diamond glow, you can choose the preferred serum. It was a remarkable experience- we all became members. Thank you H&S Team! Looking forward to next month!

Hands down, the best massage therapist I have ever had is Angel at the Hand & Stone in Oakely. She listens to my needs and provides the best massages out there. She is so knowledgeable and professional. She listens intently when I tell her what I am looking for in a massage. I drive from West Chester to the Oakley location just to make sure I can book with Angel. Give her a try, you won't regret it.

I have asked for a massage here the past 2 years for Xmas and have enjoyed my experience. My first one was a prenatal massage and my second was a deep tissue just yesterday. I felt like the massage therapists knew what they were doing and were safe. I really enjoyed the warm beds and clean atmosphere. The only reason I have 4/5 stares was because I struggle with tight hips and lower back and I have yet to have a massage therapist address these areas yet even after asking. I’m not sure if I need to phrase it differently or this is not an area typically addressed but I would love to find someone one day with the ability to help this problem area for me! Will continue to book my massages here.

My massage was with Jasmine, she was wonderful! I let her know I had a lot of tension in my upper shoulders and neck and she was able to work out a few knots! I have felt so much relief in my shoulders and neck since my visit, I will definitely book again with her in the future!

I saw Maddy at this location for lip filler and cheek filler and I have been blown away by my results! It changed the entire shape of my face and I have gotten so many compliments! I’m so happy I pulled the trigger and came to see Maddy..she is the best!!

Extremely predatory with their subscription service!!! Do NOT give them your card information or sign up for their membership! They make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel, will fraudulently charge ANY card you use with them even though you didn’t authorize the card to be used for the reoccurring subscription service. I’ve been a subscriber since August 2020, over 4 years! I moved out of state and they made it impossible to cancel by phone. Refusing my cancellation requests and still fraudulently charging both my debit and credit card. I tried cancelling back in MAY 2024. Come to find out the manager at the Oakley, Cincinnati, Ohio location didn’t put in a cancellation but a pause for 3 months. I did not want a pause I wanted to cancel and be DONE with this company. I tried disputing the transaction with my bank and they lied saying that I never canceled. Also please be warned, their fine print claims this subscription to be a “loan” which is another reason why my card company didn’t honor the dispute. How is it a loan when I pay in advance for the subscription??? I’m going to the Ohio attorney general to look into this fraudulent company. At this point I’m willing to take legal action even if it means I lose thousands. As a business owner myself, there’s nothing I HATE more than shady dealings!!! If someone says I’m done with your business, then you stop taking their money. They make it impossible to call into corporate or find out who owns the franchise. I would love to chat with the franchisee directly about their shady business practices. Edit: in response to their reply. I explicitly asked the customer service rep when I called back in MAY not June to cancel my subscription. She paused it on her own accord. I wanted it cancelled and stated that explicitly! They purposely lie and use deceptive practices to keep you in their subscription. Just give me my money back for my unused credits that I didn’t want but paid for, 4 credits so far at $86 each. Until I raised hell today (12/12/24) they wouldn’t honor my cancellation request. I want to be refunded my unused credits since my cancellation wasn’t honored when I originally requested and was given the run around with NO follow up response.

I have been getting facials at the Oakley location for a few years. The staff at the reception area are always welcoming and knowledgeable. The esthetician, Erin, is gentle and also knowledgeable about what serums and other items are the best things to use on my face. I always feel so relaxed in her care and my face looks ten years younger when she is done! I have so many issues with my skin (thin skin, sensitivity, dark spots, dryness) and she addresses them all and educates me on how to care for my skin going forward! Highly recommend!

I just had my first facial with Sydney. She was amazing. The products she used made my face feel refreshed and soft. During prior facials at other spa's, often times products would be used without asking about smell sensitivity/preferences. Sydney asked about preferences and informed me of the benefits of each prodyct before it was used. Sydney has the perfect touch as well as an excellent spa manner. Thank you! I'll be back.

Been a massage sub member since Jan 2022 - previously at Oakley. Just moved up towards West Chester and began visiting this location in May 2024. Since then, service has been great - the massages leave me feeling relaxed and if there are ever any issues, they are immediately addressed by staff no matter the problem. (i.e. problems are a rare occurrence.) Cons: 1. Higher turnover finding a consistent masseur to schedule with. 2. Seems to be a test office for new H&S software.

I’ve been twice now and both were great 60 minute massages! The last massage I had with Angel was absolutely amazing. Recently ran a marathon and had a bruised leg from a recent charly horse and she was very gentle when needed.

My husband and I love getting massages as a treat to one another, and they used to be here and there. But after a handful of visits, we decided to become members and make it a regular "date." Randi was very good at explaining everything in detail and "dummy downing" the jargon of how the credits/points work. I had tons of questions, and she was very patient. The ladies at the front are always sweet and are not pushy with the sales of products, which I've felt that feeling at other places. Alexis, Angel, and Danish are a few of our favorite masseuses :)

I rarely leave reviews, but Angel at the Oakley location is so amazing, I had to get the word out! She of course talks to you about areas of focus, pressure etc.. but her technique is the best I've experienced. She is so professional and humble - it's clear she loves what she does and I'm very thankful for her! You're the best Angel!

While the massage was just okay. He really did a good job , it’d be perfect if he had rhythm and the room wasn’t freezing cold. Isn’t a place I’d recommend honestly. Felt more robotic than a natural flow. He was kind ,however. The front desk staff, Hannah to be more specific. Concluded my experience in a very hostile manner. Prepare to be shouted at and while she talks a mile a minute to try and persuade you to sign up for a membership, another staff member (heavier set) will barge in your conversation to ensure you tip the masseuse, which was never a problem for me! Absolutely unnecessary and unprofessional! These women should work in collections or sales! Not a “spa”!!! Completely ruined my experience , as I stated I was in a rush they both yell “ARE YOU GOING TO TIP YOUR MASSEUSE?!” In front of everyone in the waiting area! I will never return here this is not acceptable ! Corporate will be contacted!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIP! Super easy to join... an act of congress to cancel. There is a form that must be signed. You must physically go into the location at which you joined to obtain the form. Once your credit card is on file, it's carte blance to the business. Calling the customer service line will not work, using the message option on the website will not work, the number on the website will not work. The number on the website does not work. Calling any number does not work. It's cumbersome on purpose. Even when you go into the location the front desk employees are completely obtuse. It's like getting out of a timeshare. Don't do it!!

I will try to break down my review in a couple of concise parts. Firstly I would rate the massage itself 4.5/5. Amanda did a great job. I would recommend her! Initial impression/ before the massage: My appointment was at 1pm today and I checked in at 12:50pm knowing that generally there are some consent or health forms that need filled out. They offer commentary green tea or water which I think is wonderful! However I had a bit of a problem after that, see I generally fill out required forms before I arrive but was unable too this time hence why I showed up early. The front desk advised to me only worry about the required boxes in the form. Specifically it would be quicker that way. Great! Heard! I have no issues with that I want to finish these forms before 1pm as well. I went and sat down at approx 12:52 to begin filling it out form after talking to the front desk for a min or two. I had the tablet in my hands for maybe 2-3min before someone came up to be and reiterated that I can just fill out the red boxes and it will be quicker that way. The only issue was is that I was only filling out the red boxes. EXECPT for when she walked up I happened to be filling out a box that states if there is a specific areas you want targeted which is not marked red (dealing with some Plantar fasciitis and I wanted to make note of that) After that box I finished up the form up as the only this left was sign offs. There was additional form with some sign offs but I still sat back down in my seat with all forms completed at 12:59-1pm. Right on time. All this to say I felt I was being rushed soon after the moment I walked in when I was still early, I feel as though some of the other staff felt that as well as I heard some say along the lines of “its know worries he’s still early” and letting me know I was fine to take my time. But the energy had already shifted it felt like I was being rushed and changed the good vibe I was in. After it felt like I couldn’t enjoy my tea properly even in the event I might get told it’s quicker to chug the tea. During the massage: As stated above Amanda did a wonderful job, she let me know all the proper precautions and made me feel comfortable letting her know if there was anything causing discomfort I.e. temp of bed, lighting if I needed to press the panic button ect.. she employed some good techniques and I could really feel her breaking up the tension near my shoulder blades. The only issue with the massage is the entire time I could not stop thinking about the event that I discussed above as much as I tried, it just really threw me off and having to already deal with getting comfortable with a random person massaging you and most people deal with adding that factor on to it made me unable to get comfortable during the session. Otherwise everything else during the massage was great. After massage: Getting back out to the front desk I was asked how everything was. I let them know “well, the massage was good”. They had a full room of clients and my voice carries so I chose not to bring up my issue to avoid messing with anyone else’s vibe they were in. I decline a 4 week reschedule at the advisement of Amanda the masseuse and decline joining the text/email group. General feedback: In staying with the theme of this review I just wanted to state I feel one of the most important part of a massage studio is a good first impression. Many people I’ve talked too about massages the biggest thing is them being comfortable so when that comfortable is slashed right at the start before you make it in the room there’s almost zero chance you will get comfortable. The vibe is off now as some would say. Lastly, with the amount of rooms at times you can hear people talking, I think investing in some soundproof squares you can find off Amazon would be a great way to help defean some of that noise at a relatively low cost.

Hand and Stone Oakley environment and staff are very welcoming. Deaira is the best masseuse ever! She is very professional and warming. Delira always makes me feel very comfortable and has the best pressure. I stay on Deaira’s schedule monthly, sometimes twice a month. If you haven’t had a massage from Deaira, you definitely need to make an appointment and request her soon.

I closed my account back in January 2023 due to the price on my membership went up annually without notice and I didn’t find out until my usual massage therapist left the job and they didn’t notify me so I went months without a massage waiting on his return to find out he was not returning. I had 11 credits built up. I was not pleased with the miscommunication about the pricing and my regular massage therapist departures. I was told I had 90 days to use my credits and that I could transfer them to other people if I wanted. That if I transferred them to someone they had 2 years to use it or transfer it back to me. Also said that I could transfer it back to myself. Well I called today and had to have a credit transferred back to me and I spoke to someone name Arian at Hand & Stine she said when she transferred it back to me it disappeared and I now don’t have one cause my membership is closed. I explained to her what the manager told me and she gives the phone to her co-worker Morgan who started out professional but got mad and started talking unprofessional because I explained to her what her boss told me and she told me “You no longer have a credit cause it disappeared when she transferred and I’m hanging up this phone because you’re pissing me off!” So I called back to speak to management but they wouldn’t answer my call so I left a voicemail. Very very unprofessional and a bad experience. What if I wanted to start a new membership after using my credit that they are trying not to give. I paid my hardworking money there is no way that I should be having this problem! They was getting my money 3 1/2 years automatic payments coming out monthly. They act like they gave me some free services. I PAID FOR ALL MY SERVICES AND WAS A BIG TIPPER!!!
