I was really excited for this massage. I only get a couple of massages a year, so they are a big event for me. I booked a 90-minute hot stone massage at the New Albany location. This was my first time at Hand and Stone and unfortunately my experience was pretty disappointing. The facility itself was nice, comfortable, and clean, as was the room. However the massage therapist was kind of a let-down. I told her my preference of firm pressure and told her I would let her know if it was too much. The pressure was definitely not firm. Overall I felt like there was a lot of topical rubbing but not very much muscle manipulation, which was a let down. Additionally, I understand that she needed time to put the stones in and out of the warmer, and that takes time, but it felt like it took FOREVER. She would go to futz with the stones and I would lay there for what felt like at least 2 minutes at a time with nothing going on. If I decide to give Hand and Stone another try I will have to be more picky about which massage therapist I book.

The massages are great. However, trying to freeze or cancel your membership is frustrating. You have to call multiple times. They do not let you know when the membership unfreezes. I asked to be called by a manager about refunds and I never received a call. I manage a business and own another business and I find this to be unacceptable.

I have been a member at another massage spa for almost 10 years. The overall experience has declined so I wanted to try a new place. Booked a one hour massage at Hand and Stone in Reynoldsburg and it was great! Friendly service, great relaxing atmosphere, and my masseuse was exceptional! My massage was really wonderful even tho I booked it the night before. I literally thought I would not get a good masseuse due to late booking, but she was great. All staff looked professional (not like my previous spa place). I immediately switched over to Hand and Stone and signed up for their membership.

DeMaria was fabulous! I had never had one of their hot stone massages and had decided to try one on my last visit. I got stuck in after school traffic but the staff was kind,understanding,and accommodating. I will be booking again at this location. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing experience!

Wish there was a way for zero grading. I had the worst experience with Hand Stone and Spa. After they increased membership price I attempted to cancel my membership and after two months of delay they finally cancelled my membership. I had two credits worth $160 remaining in my account and so recently I called to schedule an appointment to use my credits only to be told they deleted my credit balances from account. I tried to dispute and even asked for a manager but the girl on the phone said nothing can be done and there was no manager. I asked her for a manager to call me and as of today no manager had returned my calls.

Ashley, Michael, and Shakiyla are all phenomenal! I’ve been to all three of them for my monthly massages and they never disappoint. They are all very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. I have a lot of neck and back pain from my career wrecking havoc on my body and they always help me to feel better and relax. This office is so inviting, friendly, clean, and I’ll be a patient here for a long time to come. I drive 30 minutes to get here but don’t mind one bit because it’s worth it. Thanks Hand and Stone for being so patient focused and accommodating.

I’ve had a H&S membership for several years and have nothing but great things to say about the services and professionalism from the attentive front desk staff to the skilled massage therapist and esthetician I see on a regular basis - Linda & Kait. A++ every time! Both have an incredibly calm presence that immediately puts me at ease. Linda is responsive to my needs, relieves my stress, and gives me relief from my sciatic nerve issue. Kait is so thorough and knowledgeable of skincare. I finally found someone I trust with my super sensitive skin!

This was a wonderful first experience at the New Albany Hand and Stone! I was able to schedule over phone, same day with a phone call. The scheduler was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. My massage therapist was Linda and she was great! She asked questions of my needs, and truly listened delivering an experience tailored to me. I will request her again. I added on a foot wrap enhancement that was a good addition to my experience and upgraded to 90 minutes. The introductory price was good and I got value out of my experience. They offer a monthly membership that seems customer friendly that I will consider for the future.

I have membership for ~5 years with the Hand and Stone at the Hamilton rd New Albany Ohio location. I am very pleased with the level of professionalism and expertise by Tyler S. He goes the extra mile to inform and educate whilst delivering a perfect experience! Thank you to Joelle for her expert touch for a very relaxed experience. The reception is always welcoming and very engaging! As a runner, cross-trainer, and on the laptop for a good part of every day, I highly recommend the experience.

Services and employees are wonderful and professional. The attentiveness that I’ve received from Kait is incredible! (She gets 5 stars). She has been nothing short of amazing in terms of her skills, knowledge, and professionalism. She honestly is the backbone of this location. Only complaint is that it seems like the cost of services has gone up, but the increased funds don’t seem to be going anywhere but for profit rather than improvements or staff who very well deserve it. I’ve also noticed high turnover in the time that I’ve been going to this location and it makes me wonder how the employees are treated/compensated.

I had a facial with Kait on New Year's Eve and I absolutely loved it! She is so soft spoken, kind, and great to speak to. I loved that she explained the services that they offered, told me what products she would be using before she used them, and gave me lots of recommendations. I haven't been this excited about a facial in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it as well as our conversation. Also my skin was glowing, it looked amazing and my boyfriend noticed the difference right away. Thanks Kait, I can't wait until my next facial!

I see Tyler for my monthly subscription massage. Seeing him is now a staple in my monthly care routine (I'm reluctant to review, though, ONLY because I don't want his schedule to become too clogged! 😏🤐 But seeing him has really been a game changer. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟). I also really enjoyed Dawn's approach to massage, too!! The staff out front are always friendly and welcoming - it's a great location!

I visited the Albany spa with a Christmas gift certificate. Booking online was easy, minimal intake forms, and plenty of availability. Despite forgetting my gift card, the front desk staff kindly found it on file. The front desk staff member was welcoming, didn't push sales upgrades or pressure me to sign up for a membership, and check-in was swift. Joelle provided a perfect massage. Will certainly return!

It was okay, not like the previous. I purchased a foot massage and while in the room was told they’re were out of the foot scrub so I didn’t get that. Also I didn’t get the full massage my person was focus on my back I was there to relax and didn’t feel relax. The back massage I did get was good. But that’s about it.

The jury is still out for me...it's between a 2.5 and 3 stars for me. 3 because customer service was good, but not necessarily the massage itself. You are literally massaged with hot stones (this is a new experience for me). I'm used to just hot stones being placed on your back after the massage. I didn't leave feeling my problem areas were resolved, and my back hurt for a few days after. I'm not sure if I will revisit this establishment.
