I booked a massage and facial. It was by far the worst of both that I've ever had. I am from out of town and wanted the services during my short stay in Clovis. I didn't realize what the place is like or I would never have booked it. I have regular facials and massages so I am clear on what to expect. I'm not a complainer and try to be fair in my reviews, but I can't find much good to say. The rooms that are cold and sterile, and customers are being herded around. The staff is very friendly but that doesn't change the facts. The massage was generic and was not thorough. Even though I was specific in my requests, it was not relaxing and at times, very uncomfortable. After the massage I had to get dressed and was herded into another room for the facial. I found that odd, as well as irritating. The facial was also generic and poor. I had to ask the therapist to stop at one point because she was rubbing my face raw with the exfoliant. In addition, a sales pitch was thrown at me to get me to buy a more expensive facial as well as facial products. I read the other reviews and was shocked at the good ratings. I've had plenty of good massages and facials with qualified people. I was, and am, extremely disappointed with the services. I would not recommend this place at all.

They will scam you. Went in for a one time massage. It was ok. The employee was a few minutes late and that cut into the session even though I was early. They bring up this “really good” essential oil scent to try and turns out this is an extra $10, would have been nice to know this was an extra cost before they went ahead and used it. Definitely not worth the money. At the end they try to push their “membership” on to you. After outright telling them NO!!! I get a charge for the membership. When I called and asked for my money back they said that I needed to pay the first month before I could even cancel the membership they falsely signed me up for. I put a stop payment on it and got my money back. Now I get a call from some Mckayla/Michelle saying that I’m two months past due on this “membership” and that after 3 failed payments I’m terminated. TERMINATE IT NOW!!! I don’t want this, never have never will. This place and staff are a scam!!!!

Depending on the time you book your massage appt and who is assigned to give you the massage, you will have a good experience. I have been coming for over a year, and I'm a member and every time I get call in the back is between 5-7mins later, by the time the massage therapist come into the room it already been 10mins waste, so you technically don't get a full 50mins massage. In addition, it is hard to book an appointment.

These people are scam artists, they are scamming my mother who doesn't speak English. They put her into some massage plan she didn't understand. She went in to cancel whatever plan she was on in January but they kept charging her credit card even to this day in May. Stealing hundreds of dollars from elderly 72 yrs.

This was my first time getting a facial and if you have yet to try it I highly recommend that you do. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The staff member that worked on me made sure that I was comfortable from start to finish she explained every single step as she went along. She gave great tips on what to use for my type of skin and suggested different products before I left. Their prices are a bit too steep for me but it was an amazing treat that I think everyone should try at least once. Thankyou to everyone at Hand and Stone for helping me feel pampered.

Veronica, my masseuse was fantastic! I highly suggest doing the contrast therapy add-on. She worked on an ongoing knot that was causing so much discomfort. I am feeling better after my massage. Thank you ladies, it was a very pleasant first experience here!

Couples massage. Very uncomfortable experience. I could hear absolutely everything in the lobby, particularly the whispering and snickering of the receptionists. There was an unnecessarily long and fairly invasive form to fill out in the beginning and apparently loudly speaking about your payments and how much you're going to tip is normal. In a more private setting I could overlook some of these things, but that just wasn't the case. Very little communication with the masseuse (and kept bumping my arms while moving around me. Not a big deal, but annoying when trying to relax). Seeing as how it was my first "professional" massage (and I mentioned it multiple times) I'm completely turned away by everything about them. I'm sure there should have been options of oils, scents, sounds, etc., but nothing was ever offered. 2/10* Will not return, will not recommend. Wife had a much better experience apparently. Not sure what the difference was🤷🏾‍♂️ Reached out to the email address in the reply from H&S. Months later, no reply.

I booked a Swedish Massage as a birthday gift from my coworkers. They thought they’d give me a special treat being that I’m also a new mom. Well sadly I feel their money went to waste as I didn’t receive a massage in anyway shape or form. I thought maybe I wasn’t understanding what a massage entailed but after talking to friends and coworkers who have been here I believe I was ripped off. The masseuse put pressure on my back twice, stretched my neck, used pressure on my arms and hands and nothing else! Mind you when they used pressure on my back it was over the blanket, no oils, nothing!!! The conversation was fine but the masseuse was off and stated they were off due to the fact that they just ate. I think it was something else.

I enjoy my massages and facials that I get here. The membership is great to have. Sometimes it's hard to get appointments that fit your work schedule Monday to Friday 8 to 530pm . Highly recommended

Massage was maybe 35 minutes with all the fiddling with the stones, the time to get dressed and undressed is included in the actual massage time my therapist was mid leg and said okay done ! No hands or feet

Truly disappointed in employee turn over. When I find someone good, they leave. I’m unsure if it’s retention issues or management but it’s unfortunate. I canceled my membership after hearing both my favorite masseuse and the girl who started doing my facials no longer work there. I also had a massage with someone new recently and I can say it was one of the worst massages I’ve ever gotten. It’s hard to find a good masseuse :(

When my wife and I first signed up about a year ago it was real good. We were able to get same therapist each time for a few months. Then they started canceling our appointments left and right. They want to change us for cancellation but don’t really even apologize for canceling you. Never really found a great therapist again. Not worth the time or effort if they keep canceling and can’t keep therapist . We canceled our subscription and decided to go else where. Didn’t feel like they even cared about the inconvenience they caused. The place is very hit and miss.
