Very disappointed in the customer service here and the bill is confusing. Offered a complimentary aromatherapy upgrade for a birthday but I was charged for it. The clerk says she allowed me to use the referral certificate discount so it washed it out. I do not see the referral discount on my receipt. If you made it this far then also note these fine print items…. The promotional Giftcard expires 1 year from date of issue. The issue date is not posted on the gift card so that can be a sticky situation if you wait. The 60 minutes massage isn’t 60 minutes of massage time. The 60 minutes includes your dressing time. My daughter text me to pick her up and she should have had 5 minutes left. So it was really like a 45 minute massage.

Absolutely love Hand and Stone... Very personal, and Welcoming... Jessie and John at the woodruff rd Greenville store are two of the Favorite. Perfessionally on a business side i understand the factors but in the consideration to personal relations, I believe they could be more considerate... When you have a membership, you recieve "packages" for certain things. The member was allowed to transfer built up and saved packages to friends and family, but then all of a sudden the circumstances change and you can't. But have more packages then you can use up in a timely efficient manner, but have to keep the membership to keep the packages, it's as if they a forcing to keep the 80 to 90 a month coming in... What's one to do? Ya know. They are a great company though. Much respect to them.

Update: canceled my membership teo weeks ago and they just charged my credit card. Left two mrssages for them to reverse the charges with no reply from this business. Plan to call my credit card to file dispute. Several same day cancellations which is understandable; but they charge if you do the same. I asked to speak to a manager and canceled my package. It's too hard to get availability now.

Update: manager never bothered to call me back. I tried to reach the email provided below and nope…a week later…crickets. It’s not even about the price anymore it’s about the customer service. Worst experience with a facility. I had a great experience with this facility for the past few months. However, last month, I cancelled my membership due to me moving but was told that I would have one more payment coming out in July, allowing me one more massage. I show up to my massage, and get charged $109. Where in reality, I should be paying $70. When inquiring about this, they told me the employee who said I had one more massage left was no longer with them and there was just some miscommunication. I understand there was miscommunication, but that shouldn’t be on the customer. When asking to speak to the manager, I was told I was just going to be told the same thing. I would had been more understanding but there was no compassionate and basically this would fall back on me. Looking back at their reviews, it seems like miscommunication is their weakness. I just wish they would had been understanding and at least try to listen to me rather than just cutting me off.

I received my massage today 7/24/24 @noon at the Greenville, SC Woodruff Rd location and the male masseuse basically rushed through the massage. I specifically asked him to focus on the top of my back and my shoulders and that’s not what happened. He gave me a full body “massage” which I didn’t ask for and rushed through it all and he barely massaged my feet. I’ve had numerous massages from other places and this has never happened. He did some continuous pulling motion with the top of my neck and as soon as he let go a sharp pain went across the entire top of my back. I got off of the table more sore than I laid down. The customer service was great and that’s the only reason I gave 1 star. I wish I could get my $70 back and forget it ever happened.

4 out of 5 Stars because Danielle isn't there anymore! Boooo! She can be found at Silver Crystal Wellness. She pops right up on Vagaro. Shame on them for not telling me she left and finding out the hard way. People with real pain need access to massage care.

worst experience. The women who do the facials cut corners and are very inconsistent. I would go to the hand and stone in Greer. They are better and have better service.

This was an Amazing experience for me. I didn't know how much my body needed and craved such relaxation. Karen made me feel so amazing!! She did an exceptional job, very professional and so genuine! You have to get the hot stones....it definitely enhanced the experience! Lacey at the front desk was very helpful and informative. This was All around Wonderful!!!

Been coming here for years never had to cancel short notice, but the 1 time I did for a family obligation to my 2 autistic children the extremely rude front desk clerk working tonight tells me there's nothing they can do unless I pay a 35$ cancelation fee or half the cost and something thats on the sight. Like I get policy but there has to also be room for humanity as well, business thrives on return customers guess that won't be a thing for me anymore

If I could give it a zero, I would. 2 times in a row we have booked a massage session here, that I have shown up for the appointment and they have no record of any appointment. Despite speaking to them on the phone to book and confirm. The times I have had them successfully not screw up the appointment and have gotten massages here, I regretted not waiting for a spot to open at the Greer location. Been a hand and stone member for pushing 4 years, never been disappointed at the Greer location, and never once had a comparable or even satisfactory experience at the Greenville-Woodruff Road location. I am not sure why they continually fail, but go elsewhere.

It was easy to an appointment and good availability on short notice. I was greeted promptly and my massage started on time. My therapist was very friendly and did a wonderful job addressing my concerns.

My face was clear when I went for a facial, I just wanted a refresh and time to relax. Since the facial, my face has been breaking out since. It has not cleared and it has been 2 weeks. It looks horrible!

Scheduled a massage for 2pm, received confirmation of the date and time and then a text a couple days prior asking me to confirm. The morning of, I get notices that my massage is at 10am, and then I get a notice it's been cancelled. I called and they have me down for neither 2pm or 10am, but 1pm. I can't make it at 1pm and they have no 2pm slots left. I realize it's an automated system, but if it isn't reliable then I don't want to use the business. I worked my entire week around this. To add, while the person I spoke with repeatedly mentioned that it's an automated system (which, again, I understand) there was no "I'm so sorry this happened", no acknowledgement of the error on the business's side and how that affected their client.

There are several great massage therapist here and they have all been so nice and welcoming. If you can’t find an appointment time you need , give them a call and they will let you know if they have a cancellation

This is a great place, wonderful staff, 10 out of 10 recommend. But hands down the best massage from Kefa ( I might’ve butchered the name) lol he’s a black male, very gentle and professional, he explained everything he was doing and kept it all professional, he made you feel comfortable and not awkward. if you go to H&S, ask for this brother. Overall great and friendly staff.
