I was extremely disappointed in my experience here. I had an appointment (1/20/25) for a one-hour massage and my therapist spent a majority of the time talking (while not massaging) and suggesting products to purchase. I left disappointed, still sore in the areas I asked for attention on, and annoyed that my entire appointment was more of a conversation than any type of massage. I will not be returning here, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Feels like a scam. I was given a $140 gift card for my birthday. The appointment was made for me. I didn't get any reminders (which I heard them doing at the front desk while I was waiting in the lobby.) I missed my appointment. They took $40 off my gift card. Okay, that's fine, I forgot the appt. I rescheduled. When I got there for my 2:15pm hour hot stone massage, she was 7 minutes late coming out to get me. She talked to me for about 25 mins about what was going on and what her treatment plan is. I paid extra to add pain relieving oil. She really wanted to make it a 90 min massage so she'd have more time. I declined since this was my first. I didn't want to commit my time and money to someone I've never gone to before. She started the massage at 2:45pm. She only worked on the front of my right shoulder and my armpit area.... not even where I was having the worst pain. At 3:15pm, she noted the time then proceeded to talk to me for 30 more minutes about all the things I need to do for my muscles. I went in for a massage and left with a bruise on my shoulder from her only massaging/poking on that area. I appreciate the pressure but I wanted that on my problem areas. I told her she could extend the time to 90 min because I wanted the areas massaged that were causing me pain... not just my shoulder area but then suddenly she had things to do yet proceed to talk to me for 30 min. I finally left about 3:45pm. I noticed she did not use the pain relief oil because it smells like menthol which I did not smell. I asked her if she used it and she said no so the girls at the front didn't charge me. I told them that was one of the weirdest massages I've ever had. By the time it was done, I had $10 left on my $140 gift card of which I only got a 30 min solo front shoulder massage. I was super disappointed, especially because I waited to use it after I started a more physically demanding job. When I talked to management about it, all she said was she could offer me an introductory rate of $79 with someone who's a better fit. I just feel scammed because they use the "consultation" time as part of your massage time. I wasn't there for repeat treatment or to discuss my muscles in detail. I wanted a massage to relax from my new job and being a new mom. I feel she was a knowledgeable and probably great at her job but I was the last customer of the day so I feel she didn't really want to physically work which is unfortunate because I need a good massage therapist but I will not be wasting my money on someone who only wants to talk about the issue instead of doing what I'm paying them to do. I was potentially thinking joining as a member but I'm glad I didn't.

Worst facial I've ever received. To be honest, this was back in March (it's now September) but I still think about how upset I am about it. I had scheduled myself a facial for my birthday to treat myself. At the start of my appointment, my masseuse admitted she had partied too hard the night before and was tired. Not very professional, but I was not bothered at the moment. She asked what my goals were for the appointment, and I said skin clarity. During my facial, I noticed that she was not deep cleaning my pours but believed she knew what she was doing. I should have double-checked. At the end she had me look into the mirror and asked if I was satisfied. The lights in the room were still dim so I didn't see anything besides my very shiny product covered face. I said I was good and we went out to the front. She then tried to sell me on the $70 products she just used. I declined and proceeded to pay for my appointment. After I got into my car and looked into my mirror. I was not happy. I had received the wrong facial. I got a classic instead of the clarity facial I had thought I had scheduled, an error with the online booking system. I went inside and talked with the desk about the mix up. She apologized for the inconvenience but there was nothing she could do. Understandable but upsetting. I asked about scheduling me for the correct facial and she said she could do it in 2 hours. I was already so upset about my gift to myself I declined and headed home. In the car I looked at my face again and I still had mascara and eyeliner on from the night before. Now I was pissed. I wiped the remaining slimy product from my face and drove home upset. I had planned on getting myself a tea from next door but was so self conscious about the way my facelooked I didn't dare go inside anywhere. I didn't bother trying to address this with he staff as I had already been completely dismissed already. Kinda ruined my day.

I do not ever write reviews, whether good or bad, but for this place, I had to write one for others to know. I booked a massage on 6/30 to relax and relieve all the work pressure. I left with a bad experience and was unsatisfied. I went to the wrong location and arrived "on time" when the recaptioned informed me. I asked them if it was okay to make it still there and get my massage done, thinking I would be getting a full hour/full body as they said, "Yes, it happens to a lot of customers, and you should be fine." I drove 17 mins out of my way to make it there. I got there; the 25 mins massage was rushed obviously , and I only got my back and arms (rushly) done, and stopped at 4:50, not even till 5 pm. A male did my massage, which is fine as that is their profession. I wasn't expecting someone breathing heavily and loudly near my ears and having rough hairy arms that made me uncomfortable and not relaxed. The owner is greedy and doesn't want to accommodate for the bad experience. They only offer another service, but no thanks, I wouldn't want ever to come back again. I do not recommend them. Just a ripoff, no principle and unethical. Please go to Oasis if you want to have the best atmosphere/massage and a good customer service.

I love the staff at Hand and Stone and their services! I recently received a massage from Emily and she was great! Joshua is also amazing and if you are interested in facials, Emma is fantastic! Probably one of the best facials I have received! I always have a great experience here!

Had a great experience with the CryoSkin on my abdomen area! Dani was my specialist and she did a great job explaining the process and the dos and don'ts. She was able to answer any questions or concerns I had. I ended up losing over 2 inches! My fiance has also been going there for massages and always has great things to say. Would highly recommend them for any of their services!

I had a great experience at this location, the receptionist was extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I didn't have to wait too long before i was able to get into the massage. Drea was my massage therapist and she was excellent. Very friendly and professional. Would recommend this place to others!

I would not recommend that anyone goes to this location. I called to cancel my membership on 10/3 and was told it would be cancelled. 7 weeks later it was not cancelled and they have no record of my call. Spoke to the manger on 11/22 who was going to send me a cancellation form and did not send it. Called back on 11/23 and an even worse experience. Person who i will not name put me on hold for 20 minutes. When i eventually hung up and called back in she was very happy with her self for putting me on hold that long. I ended up having to call the Pacific location and they were extremely helpful and the owner was very apologetic and did refund me. Long story short do not go to the maple location.

The ambiance of the waiting room is lovely! The front desk associates are always kind and easy to have a conversation with. If you are looking for a great massage therapist at the Maple location, I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer! As a former massage therapist, there are specific qualities I look for in my massage treatment; Jennifer is amazing at her craft!

The management here is absolutely horrible. I booked an appointment as a birthday gift for my spouse and authorized a 1 time purchase for them. Apparently Hand And Stone Created a whole profile for my spouse and kept my card information on file and charged it again weeks down the road and did not inform my partner or myself that my card was going to be kept on file for future visits. I called on a Friday to speak to a manager and was told that they would call me back. No one called me back so I called Saturday and was told the same thing that they will call me back on Monday. I called Monday and was told the manager does not work on Monday’s and was told there is a message here for her to call me on Tuesday. Well I waited until Tuesday at 4pm to call back and spoke to Sara. The communication with management absolutely sucks. Sara was not professional at all and refused to refund me back my money for the second charge. This is theft as I was not aware of my information being kept on file for future use. Unauthorized charging is unacceptable in regards to an appointment that was created without my knowledge or consent.

This place is nice inside, although the actual spa room Is very empty and plain. I had added a scalp massage and face massage to my 50 minute massage and turns out this is added during your 50 minute massage, not on top of it, which was very disappointing because each addition was $15. My massage felt rushed and not meaningful or relaxing. At this point I would not return. Really disappointed because I had planned on joining their membership but overall had a poor experience.

This was my first time having a facial. Jaclyn was amazing and made me feel comfortable the entire time! I am a member now and will definitely be coming back.
