I had a fantastic experience at Hand & Stone Massage—Alex at the front desk was welcoming and professional, and Jennifer provided an incredible massage that left me feeling completely relaxed. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for top-notch service and a rejuvenating experience!

First off let me start by saying, I have been a member at the Dr. Phillips location since they have opened. I have had two AMAZING therapist, but unfortunately they left. I was told that Mary was equally as good as the other two therapist that I have been to. So let me start from the beginning, the headrest in all my years have been flat, Mary wanted my head to dip down. I told her it’s very uncomfortable and I can’t breathe, can we please adjust it? She said it’s good like that, it gives the neck a nice stretch. I told her again I can’t breathe please adjust it. She then adjusted it a fraction and said that should be fine. It wasn’t! I asked her repeatedly not to touch my hair bc I have hormone issues that cause my hair to fall out. She touched my hair more times than I can count even though I kept on asking her not to. I was so upset and frustrated I lifted my head to see the time bc I wanted to walk out, but didn’t know how to go about it. So I laid there… for more torture. She kept trying to get out this one knot out on my back for literally 40mins, I repeatedly told her not to. I said can you please stop trying to get the knot out of my back and use your hands or palm instead of your elbow. She didn’t know how to respond so she just went back into the knot with her elbow. At the very end… she wrap my neck in a towel and started doing very uncomfortable stretches which caused me severe vertigo. The whole appointment was a nightmare… a big nightmare that I paid for. I did leave her a good tip, because I felt bad. I have never been in a situation like this and I didn’t know how to handle it. After talking to many people I shouldn’t have tipped her…. And I sure hope the establishment will rectify this situation. I now am stuck with extreme vertigo and clogged sinuses from all the blood rushing to my head for 50mins. I am not afraid to get another massage. Awful!

Awful customer service. My wife called and booked at this location but they never actually made the appointment. She showed up for the appointment (which they didn't have) and after expressing frustration, all they initially was offered a discount on additional enhancements of a future massage. To the person on your "leadership" team - if a customer is the one to reengage, initiate, and force a better outcome - you don't get to claim the credit for it: "Look what we did for you!"...

Absolutely loved my prenatal massage from Amanda M! She listened to exactly what I needed to relieve the swelling in my legs and lower back pain. She delivered high quality service and will definitely recommend her to my friends and family! My husband had Jennifer and she really helped his sciatic and back pain. We both love coming here and will be back very soon!

I would never thought I have time to write review like this but I am FURIOUS. I bought 1 hour massage. I had appointment at 3:30, arrived exactly 3:30, they gave me first iPad to filled out all information which I didn’t think it necessary but oh well, took me 15 mins to finish, I thought it done, they gave me another iPad to fill out how do I like music and such and such, took me another 10mins. The masseuse called my name and brought me in at 3:56, because when I got up I sent my sister a message that’s why I know exact time . When I got to the room we chit chat a little about how do I want her to focus, I told her my lower back. She started massage me at 4:05, she didn’t even put any pressures on me, didn’t even touch my lower back once. I wasn’t even ready to closed my eyes, she told me the time was up. NO HOT TOWEL to wipe all my oil off.😱 i finished at 4:23. When I walked out, the front girl checked me out , she asked me how was it, I said was just ok, she didn’t ask me why or I’m sorry to hear, I had to tell her and she gave me the face and said that how it is here. I was like omg 😳. To be honest this is not even worth 1 star.

Love the atmosphere and staff (highly recommend Celle), but the forms they have you sign and their policies seem to change frequently.

What an awful experience. When I booked my service for the first time at this location I explained my specific medical needs to the receptionist who assured me at the time of booking that it would be addressed. I came in 20 mins early to complete my paperwork and requested a copy of the providers licensing and credentials at check-in. After 40+ mins I was informed they did not have a copy of the full credentialing on file and they were "awfully sorry for the inconvenience as we dont often have requests for this, and the provider has been with us for several years, shes great". I explained to the manager that just as they require clients to sign waivers to protect themselves, clients could and should be encouraged to at minimum see a copy of the providers certification; I was given excuse after lame excuse as to why the info could not be shared. The manager went on to make comments and assumptions that were completely inappropriate, in front of other guests in the waiting area. She finally agreed to call her supervisor, and then offered a complimentary service to make up for the inconvenience - which admittedly was nice, but the damage was already done. I will never return to this location. I do hope they shape up and get proof of every single providers FULL credentials readily available asap.

Absolutely amazing, from the receptionists to the masseuse. Melody was such a delight. She put lavender on the pillow for me to enjoy dying the whe massage and it was so calming. Her aura, personality and her massage were absolutely amazing. I usually like a medium light massage, she was a bit more medium, but It felt so amazing. One of the best massages I have had❤️

I’ve been going here for some time— previously, just on occasion and, now, monthly, as member! Kety is the reason for this. She has angelic hands, knowing exactly what to work on and how to do so. Having regular sessions with her has been so good for my mind, body, and soul. Thank you, Kety!

I had an appointment on 04/19/2024 at 7:30 p.m. I arrived at 7:20, checked in and waited. I was called back at around 7:40. The masseuse looked me up and down, asked how I was, then led me to the room. She was cool, we chatted about my problems areas. I got ready and she started at 7:47. An hour later, or so I thought, she said time was up.. it felt quick so I looked at the clock and it read 8:28.. I booked a 60 minute massge.. not a 41 minute massage. I didn't mind the late start, however, don't inconvenience me because you're behind schedule.

The massages are pretty good but it's impossible to get an appointment. I have been trying to schedule for 2 months and they are always booked up. They have over sold their capacity. Time to consider canceling my membership.

Update: In the beginning, I was really excited coming here and really enjoyed my experience when Hannah was working here because she made each appointment fun and fabulous. The only reason why I leave this review a bit lower than I would prefer for this location is because they really try to push the membership on you, and it makes me really uncomfortable. I’m not sure how many times I would tell the individuals working at the front desk a various number of reasons why I was not interested in the membership, yet I would continue to be asked almost every time I made an appointment, or even after my appointment, which ruined the relaxing experience for me a bit. No means no. Additionally, hoping management has improved.

Don’t bother going in for the Black Friday BOGO gift card special. A 1 hour massage is $119 so you essentially get each massage for $60. It’s not that nice inside and I don’t think this is a deal by any means.

I have been coming to Hand and Stone for over 5 years in De Phillips; I moved to Maitland and from last year I come to Winter Park. It has changed and I have to say it’s change for the worst; before you would be able to exchange points for upgrades, now you can only get the stones that not every masseuse uses correctly. There is an absurd extra charge for use of couples room….. why? The room is bigger is said, we don’t mind if it’s big or small we just want a massage together. The charge is $15 per person on top of the package I pay for $70. I received a call from Allie the A. Manager and she stated that it was corporates policy and if I wanted to complaint I can go and complaint to corporate as she didn’t make the pricing (Amazing response from management) I manifested I would cancel my membership and she took it upon herself to cancel my appointment for tonight. Terrible management and yes once I use my packages I will be canceling my 5 years membership. Antonio was great!

My massage was cancelled exactly three hours before my appointment. I called and they were apologetic but I did bring up that if I cancelled three hours before my appointment they would charge me and the young woman confirmed that was accurate. I asked about what was able to be done and she told me nothing and that it wasn’t out of the store’s control that the massage therapist isn’t feeling well. No alternatives other than rebooking were offered. She was perfectly polite but it’s not acceptable that I rearranged things to find an appointment weeks ago to have it cancelled. If you cancel an appointment because one of your employees is not able to work then some type of consideration for not keeping the appointment should be given. You

The service went downhill in the last 12 months. I was a member for over 4 years and every time recently they only focused on upselling and also didn’t allow me to use my final package. I missed the deadline (by 60 days) they referred me to the docusign document. I asked if the manager would support my request since I was a member for so long and the answer was “no”. Zero customer service the good employees seemed to have left for the most part as well.
