Been to a few H&S and never quite pleased. Received a gift card and tried again (even though I was told prior to, that the gift card was actually already used🙄) Gave it a shot and glad I did. Em was absolutely fabulous! Not shy on much needed pressure in certain areas and hotspots! Relieved my migraine and terrible back pain and I left incredibly relaxed. The front office staff was so personable, professional, friendly and inviting. The massage and entire experience was so wonderful here, I left as a member! Hoping they maintain the staff here. Top notch excellence !!

I had a wonderful experience at this Hand & Stone location. I’ve been going to Hand & Stone for years now and this one is by far my favorite. I was greeted nicely and my experience began with a peaceful welcome. My massage was done by Ky, and she gave me hands down the best massage I’ve ever received. I would recommend her to anyone and I definitely plan on going back to her! Thank you guys ☺️

I have called daily to request cancelling my membership. Each time I’m told a manager will get back to me because they are the only ones with permission to initiate cancellations. Then I’m completely ghosted. They will give you the run around to prevent you from being able to cancel your membership, but are quick to pressure you into signing up.

BOOK WITH NICK! Trust me now and believe me later. I just received services with Nick for the first time. I plan on rebooking. Technique, timing, pressure and flow were all flawless. Great vibe personality. Very professional.

I came here for a massage and was treated poorly by the manager Laura. I was kicked out after asking to speak to another manager.

I experienced the worst customer service from this location from the manger Laura. I had schedule and paid for an appointment to relax however I was kicked out. I asked to speak to her manager and she refused and told me to leave the premises. Police were notified however I’m still waiting for hands and stone to contact me.

Em was the massage therapist assigned to me at the Quarter Master location. She was new to that site; but, very experienced. Em provided an excellent massage experience! She applied the appropriate pressure, adhered to my preferences regarding body parts that required more attention, was professional and compassionate. I would highly recommend Em!! Give her a try. I finally went in to this new location I have been to hand and stone plenty of times. I got very Warm welcomes when I arrived along with a nice warm neck pillow. I Saw Sasha for a facial and she was fabulous. Sasha was super nice explained everything to me and gave me a nice relaxing facial. I was so relaxed I might or fell asleep during it. The room was spotless and clean she was extremely organized as well. My skin felt great after and was glowing will for sure be back to see her !

I had an ok experience here. Just moved to that neck of Philly, had a gift certificate, and pain from head to toe so I gave this place a try. I arrived 5 minutes early, which I thought was impressive for me. Intake was awkward, I was handed a tablet with no instruction and told to take a seat. The tablet questionnaire seemed endless to this adhd gal and it caused me to be “10 minutes late” for my appointment, which my masseuse made sure to point out to me. Sorry, neurotypical person here, wasn’t prepared for a pop quiz. If I was warned about the intake process, I would have arrived even earlier. Once past all the tricky human interactions things went smoother. Justin was my masseuse and he was just amazing, the massage was absolute magic. Knots were loosened, pain was gone; Justin puts a lot of effort into his massage session. Absolutely no complaints with the massage. Overall, my experience was meh. I’ve been to other spas and the experience just felt more personal, more intimate, felt taken care of and allowed to relax, which is the point of going to a spa, right? Things here just felt rushed, I didn’t feel important as a client, they tried to push a package deal at checkout; it wasn’t the spa experience I’m used to paying for. Disposable income is a rarity for me and I want a “Treat yo self” day to feel like I’m actually treating myself. Oh well, I guess that’s what happens when you go to a corporate owned spa. Lesson learned. Big props to Justin’s skills, though. His massage deserves 5 stars. Others could learn from him.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. This is my now go to place for a massage and facial. Everyone has been incredible. I highly recommend you treat yourself here. I always leave feeling like I’m on cloud 9! :) Thank you for taking care of me. I’m updating my review here. I’ve been coming here since they opened. I come religiously once a month and I enjoy my massages and facials. Shae is great, I always feel relaxed after her massage and Danielle is my go to for a facial. We always hit it off too! I leave feeling relaxed and recharged.

I decided to treat my husband to a nice massage and booked with Susan. This was the worst experience and a complete waste of money. First she was either sick or had allergies either was she had heavy breathing and sniffling over the soothing music. She also had no mask on if that was the case. She was clearly congested and breathing hard and sniffing all over top of him. Next the massage was merely a very soft back rub even the hand rub by her rough hands was super uncomfortable and not soothing. Please do not go to Susan it was terrible she is an older woman who may need to retire because for my husband all he got was germs and oil. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! When I complained to the front desk all they said was sorry for your experience. Not a coupon, money off or nothing!!!

Just came from my first visit at this new location. Shae gave an exceptional massage, exactly what I needed for a stress reliever. Then went over to Sasha for the best most relaxing and gentle facial that I dosed off about five times. Highly recommend both ladies here. I will be back. 🤗🙏

I’m not huge on massages, but had a gift card I wanted to use. Booking online was easy. I received a phone call confirmation which was a nice touch. Upon arrival I received a warm greeting and was offered a warm neck wrap while I waited. Kamal did a great full body massage. I don’t get massages often so I was a bit confused but he was nice and explained the process to me. I left feeling relaxed! Overall, great experience.

The esthetician that did my facial was super sweet however her facial manipulations were awkward. She was dragging my skin down towards my throat instead of up almost as if she was trying to make my face sag. (I am an Esthetician as well but didn’t feel the need to tell her) Also was charged and extra $25 because I have slight pinkness to my cheeks classifying my skin as sensitive skin. It’s asinine that it’s a $25 up charge for sensitive skin. Facial skin is always considered sensitive..

I was super pleased with my experience at Hand & Stone. It was very easy to book an appointment, and I appreciated the ability to fill out paperwork beforehand as well. Lynette at the front desk immediately set the tone for my visit - she was friendly, calm, and welcoming - a gem! Marcus was my message therapist, and I was so so pleased. Besides being a friendly and calm person, the pressure used was perfect and Marcus checked in with me throughout to make sure I was comfy. I will definitely request Marcus again! On the way out, Lynette was super helpful with explaining the membership - I did end up signing up for it, too because my experience that day was so positive. I'm excited to return, and would definitely recommend others to book their own appointment!

Was having a rough day so I decided to treat myself to a massage for my birthday today and just knew it was meant to be since they had an appointment open at the perfect time. Being a single father I had to bring my kids along (15yr&4yr). My 4yr old had to use the little ladies room but was told she couldn’t!!!? And gave me a list of other establishments in the shopping center I could take her. None of which I was patronizing! But the establishment that I was patronizing and am a member of denied my child to relieve herself!!! Needless to say I had to cancel my appointment! And on top of that I requested to be serviced by Roxanne and another lady that WAS NOT Roxanne was waiting in attempt to service me! So thx Gand and Stone for ruining my Birthday 🥳

I recently had a basic facial with Mesale, and it was truly the best experience I've ever had! The atmosphere is fantastic, creating a super relaxing vibe. Mesale's expertise and kindness made the session even more enjoyable. She was incredibly helpful, addressing all my concerns and ensuring a personalized experience. I left feeling very refreshed! i appreciated the woman at the desk waiving my re-enrollment fee since telling her that i wanted to restart my membership. i’m not sure it was really waived or not, i guess i’ll see when charged a month from now. as ever.. the massage didn’t last an actual hour. it started at 6:21 (as she decided to announce to me as i was facedown waiting) and ended at 7:05. she then makes sure to note: as she’s finishing up her 2/5 star rating rubbing job, “..and i went over!” as if she was doing me a favor… lol i had to ask her if she was going to revisit my upper back area since she seemed to obviously ignore the fact that i noted that this was the main event of the “massage”. the “massage” was mostly rubbing my muscles with oiled up forearms and elbows. it’s cool though—everyone has to start somewhere.
