This is definitely a 5 Star stop the fact the owner made my visit comfortable from start to finish was awesome and the facial tech she fairly new but forgot her name she put a nice glow back to my face after facial thank u ill have her name after my next visit 2/4/25 had to book a massage after awesome services thanks Nina and again much love to my facial tech ima member so I'll be seeing yall alot God bless and TY..🙏💚

My daughter who is a member of Hand and Stone for 7 years. Had her massage this morning and it was the worst experience of her life. (Because of her being an athlete she gets them regularly just in different state) This lady had no idea what she was doing, didn't ask the most basic questions like what needs to be done, do you want any add-ons or what pressure. Nothing! She was very agressive and uneducated. It's really a shame to pay for a massage that makes you feel worst 😞 and uncomfortable.

My husband and I went for a one-hour couples massage yesterday. The actual massage was only around 45 minutes, which was very disappointing. Their website advertises that “introductory offers include time for dressing and consultation.” This is not what we experienced. We took about 15 minutes to get ready for our massage, and when it was over, we realized that it wasn’t the full hour. The service was very nice; however, I wish we would have benefited from the entire hour that we paid for. This was our first time there, and I’m not sure that we’d travel into the city for another service of theirs again.

India helped me tremendously. She did an amazing job. My shoulders and neck feel so much lighter and I have a broader range of motion in my neck after only 1 massage. India worked out so many trigger points. I was sore and a little swollen for two days but it was worth the pain to get these great results.

Adam (facials) and Jeron (massage) are my people and I highly recommend both! I've gone to quite a few people in the past and have become one of their "regulars" for their respective services for quite awhile. Adam - a relaxing facial, the best shoulder massage while waiting for your mask to work it's magic (which then reminds me that I need to book a massage with Jeron). And I just love his personality. Jeron - he makes sure to tailor your massage to what you need that day. Relaxing? Done. Knots everywhere? Got it. He's a calming presence and I always try to book a 90 minute when I can.

India was amazing. I was visiting from st louis. I would fly to pittsburgh just to have another massage with her. She listened to me and provided exactly what i needed. Young receptionist was also as equally pleasant to converse with. Actually best massage and overall experience i have ever experienced.

Got a couples massage here and was very pleased with my experience. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and Alicia did an amazing job working on my neck and back. Would highly recommend, they are not cheap but the experience is worth it.

I’ve gotten so many aches and pains over the years from a combination of sitting at a desk for work everyday and overtraining at the gym. Now that I’m closer to 40 than 30 my body doesn’t recover as easy as it used to! Liz has really helped me to feel some relief from neck, shoulder, back, and knee pain. I’ve also gone to a chiropractor, but the massage really helps to destress and alleviate muscle aches and pains! Highly recommend a 90 minute massage with Liz. They all seem excellent there as well!!

People who give good ratings to this place never had a real massage before. I had been here thrice only my first time was good. The other two times it was utter waste of time and money. They're not friendly and considerate of outsiders or non-natives. And it was very evident. The third time was the worst. The person who did my facial was just whiling away time and waiting for the timer bell to ring. She just tapped my face the last 15mins I didn't understand what she was doing. I wrote a review earlier as well when they asked me for a feedback and didn't even bother to call or follow up on my negative feedback and the experience.

Today I had a wonderful experience with Maddy. Her hands are like magic. You can tell she really cares about her clients and how they feel after a session. I’ve had multiple massages in the past and Maddy is by far my favorite person to see. I would highly recommend booking with her! 😊 she also gave me some super helpful stretches to do at home in between my monthly massages!

I am impressed with Sarah and her knowledge. I had been receiving deep tissue massage but when we discussed my medical history and medication she recommended that I not receive deep tissue because of the risk of bruises. I have enjoyed every moment and feel that her massage does what I need for my scoliosis.

I started going to hand and stone during my pregnancy. I’d go to the Centre St. location, in which was told I couldn’t cancel my membership- found out I could. I accrued a few credits during pregnancy, so I switched to the Penn Ave. location. Staff is always fairly friendly. Referred my partner, and he didn’t like it, although he had a monthly membership he kept forgetting to cancel. He accrued 2 credits, in which upon cancellation, was never told they expired in 60 days. He lost out on them, and there was nothing they could do. As a business owner myself, I do my best to accommodate clients, yet I was told by the manager they couldn’t do anything. We absolutely won’t be going back to any locations or supporting this franchise. We were not asking for anything but what we paid for, and also we’re not informed about the policy. Your customer service processes must be handled better!

Liz is wonderful. Every massage begins with her questioning me re: health changes or concerns, range of motion limitations, sleep problems, as well as emotional issues you may have (but of course only if you’re comfortable discussing said issues)because even those things can affect your body. Then she goes to work! I hate when that hour is over.
