I had a great first experience. Staff was very kind, helpful, and prompt. Office was clean as well. I booked the classic intro facial and was paired with Sophie. She was very sweet, paid attention to detail, and instructed me on next steps and recommendations for skincare going forward. I feel like I’m glowing and I look forward to coming back! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and patient. I appreciated how the therapist was considerate of my comfort level. She was able to quickly locate my trigger points and loosen the knots on my upper back. I’m one of those customers that don’t like to talk much so I can relax and be in tuned with my massage. Our conversations were not lengthy compared to other therapists. The temperature of the massage table was adjustable so I was never too cold. The room and lobby were clean. Only recommendations I would make are to have the volume of the music and lighting in treatment room turned down a bit more. The massage therapist said they were both on their lowest setting.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this location! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was so calming and welcoming. The massage therapist Angela worked out all of my knots. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch massage. I will definitely be coming back!

The staff and masseuse were nice, however the experience and overall massage itself was definitely lacking. I was checked in 15 minutes before my appointment, then waited nearly 30 minutes before being greeted again. This cut into my appointment time, but the massage still ended promptly on time. I understand the need for the masseuses to stay on schedule but was surprised to pay for the full hour massage when I maybe got around 40 minutes. Or at least would have appreciated an apology for the waiting. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The massage itself was okay, but I had primarily asked for focus around my neck, shoulders and upper back. The first ~10 minutes were focused on this area and then not touched again the entirety of the service. The pressure was also just ok. I’ve been getting consistent massages for a while to help work out knots, and this was the one place that I feel didn’t work out any tension. I tried this spa since I was in town over the holidays, but don’t think I’d return. Overall, wouldn’t recommend the experience for the cost.

I have been going here for the better part of 6 months now, and if I could give it more stars I would! Location is great- right by town center in a nice area. The staff are wonderful- from the amazing front desk staff to the therapists, everyone makes you feel welcomed and right at home. Massage quality is the best- I see Junell, but all the therapists here do an amazing job listening to any spots that may need extra care. If you are considering getting a massage for the first time, or wondering if this place is worth it, I am here to say that you don’t have to look any further!

I have been seeing Ron for over a year now and could go on about my positive experiences with him and the staff I come across at this location. Today Mya particularly stood out due to her professionalism, attention to detail and proactive approach. She was able to answer my questions and resolve a concern I came in with and even asked me about the Black Friday Special and was able to explain it. I believe it’s been the same manager the past year but they have assisted me satisfactorily as well. Overall the monthly membership is well worth the convenience, location and getting to see some friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Well done Town Center!

I have nothing bad to say about the person who did my facial but whatever they put on my face has destroyed it in a matter of an hour of leaving the place I walked in With healthy skin and this is how I left this is continuously gotten so bad over the hours of leaving I’ve never had my face look so bad in 38 years of life not even as a teenager My face felt extremely greasy after I left and was burning I couldn’t wait to get home to wash whatever they put on my skin off I’ve used a lot of different creams serums toners on my face throughout my whole life and I’ve never had this kind of reaction

Massage was very light and did not get full one hour time. Basically lotion was applied to shoulders, back and legs. Staff tries to push/sell monthly membership aggressively. Would not return to this business, it's too "corporatized". Massage was not worth what was paid.

The staff was nice. I made an appointment for a deep tissue massage. What I got was definitely not deep tissue. It was more in line with Swedish massage, but that’s also a little debatable. Based on my sister’s feedback from getting a Swedish massage, hers also focused on trigger points and relieving her muscles which I can’t say happened for me. It was relaxing, but not what I paid the extra fee for.

This was my first visit to Hand & Stone. I have to say, this was superior service. From start to finish, from reception to checkout…10/10 recommend! The front desk staff was friendly, professional, and set the tone for an extremely relaxing pampering session! My massage therapist, Kelsey, provided an amazingly relaxing, therapeutic, and soothing massage. Checkout was a breeze and I cannot wait to rebook!

Hand & stone has always been outstanding to me. They go above and beyond to make you happy. This particular time I would had prefer to have more massage than pressure points done but the therapist knew what he was doing and my body definitely needed it so overall I was happy I definitely will be starting my membership back up after I use up my credit

My wife and I decided to do a couples massage for our anniversary. My massage was great. Unfortunately my Wife’s experience wasn’t. My wife’s masseuse appeared to be very inexperienced. We opted to add stones to our 60 minute massage. My wife endured 50 minutes of irritating scrubbing of her skin with stones and only received less than 10 minutes of an actual hand massage. The room was bright and the masseuse didn’t cover my wife’s eyes. The end result my wife left with irritated skin and an “unrelaxed” body. We asked to speak with an manager. However, the receptionist informed us that the manager was on vacation.

Used to love this place was here monthly. I moved due to work and I was assured that my membership would be canceled and lo and behold my card constantly keeps getting charged even after I notified them prior… don’t do business with them. Allure Aesthetics has better facials anyways

After being a lifelong athlete and a trainer for 22 years and receiving massages for decades, I can confidently say that my recent visit to Hand and Stone in Virginia Beach was exceptional, thanks to Kindra. Her intuitive understanding of myofascial tissue and her skilled touch sets her apart. If you need a real fix rather than just a light, dainty spa massage, Kindra is the therapist to see. Although I'm sure she excels at those, too, she truly shines as a fixer. It's well worth the drive from Northern Virginia a few times a year to receive her expert care. Additionally, the front desk staff, Alena and Katelyn, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. If you're looking for top-notch service and profound therapeutic expertise, Hand and Stone in Virginia Beach is the place to go.

My massage was fantastic. I was relaxed and was made to feel comfortable. I had a facial right after the massage. It was all a great experience. I do have to say one of the best things there was the lack of pushing services or products. Most places I have been go on and on about how to reverse damage with lotions or other products. We all know that doesn't work, and hearing from someone who is pushing a service on you is extremely annoying. I will go back and I will recommend Hand and Stone to all my friends and family.

I really enjoy getting my massages and facials at this location. I’ve had a massage by Sean and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had! He helped me understand how my TMJ has been leading to some of my neck pain and took extra care to massage those areas. I see Tara for my facials once a month, and she is great!!! Always such a relaxing experience and she has helped me figure out a good, cost-friendly, everyday skincare routine that works for me. Love the staff here, definitely recommend!

Alisca is amazing!!! I been getting facials for a few years but hands down she is the best. The knowledge she have to get your facial on track is incredible. My face is still glowing days after my service so that’s how I know she is the best. Soooo happy I found her
