First massage ever yesterday evening. I left with the most pain in my neck that I have EVER had in my life. The sharpness of the pain blocks my range in motion. It’s as if I slept wrong but I didn’t? I get the muscle soreness but sharp lasting pain whenever I turn to the left?? Is a bit much considering my line of work.

I was so excited to try Hand and Stone. Unfortunately, the evening before my scheduled massage, I got a call cancelling my appointment. I work in customer service. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Good massage, but in my opinion not worth the money and we wont return again. It say’s clearly that paperwork, undressing, dressing, and cleaning is part of the 60 minute massage. First of all, what? My husband I got a couple’s massage today with a gift card that was 259.90. I prefilled out all of our paperwork PRIOR to the appointment AND I called while on the way and ensured they had everything from us so we could get the full 60 minutes. She verified over the phone she had all of paperwork and that we were good to go. We get there and checked in and sent to the waiting room 10 minutes prior to the appointment. A few minutes later they bring an Ipad for my husband to fill out his paperwork. I explained to her that it was done already and I literally called to verify less than 30 minutes prior. She acts confused and checks and says again she doesn't have it and only fill out the Red * required boxes so it doesn't cut into our time. So he fills out the paperwork for a second time. We were still done and waiting prior to 10:00. A woman walks in and sits down in the waiting room several minutes after my husband and I, also for a 10:00 appointment. 10:00 hits and neither of us had been brought back to our room. 10:03 rolls around and said woman was taken to her room before us even though we were there and waiting first. We get to our room 5 minutes after 10:00 and they give instruction on what to expect, dress down directions and leave the room. So it was several minutes after 10:00 that our massage even started. The digital clock above the door said 10:50 on the dot when they concluded and turned on the lights and let us know we could get dressed. Our 40-45 massage was good yes. Our massage therapists were great and very professional. However, I will never be spending 259.90 on a massage PLUS (40$ tip, 20$ per massage therapist) so 300.00$ on a SIGNIFICANTLY shorter massage than the purchased 60 minutes. I understand a few minutes after 10:00 but it was clear when they stopped at 10:50 on the dot that they needed the room cleared for the next client… So if our massages are ended a FULL 10 minutes before they actually end then why were we brought back minutes after 10:00. For 300$ I could have received a full 60-90 minute massage else where. We wont be return customers for the price range.

First time visiting this spa and I was very pleased with the friendly staff. The atmosphere is very calming and zen. Belinda took her time and made me feel very comfortable during my massage. I was relaxed and felt like she understood what areas needed her extra attention. I will definitely visit again!

Only giving a two star review because the massage itself was great, however, the payment experience was anything but acceptable. Before booking my appointment, I called the location to make sure they accepted the gift card I would be using and was told they would take it. Upon arriving and completing my massage, I was told they do not accept my gift card and there's nothing they could do about being told otherwise prior to booking. I would've never booked a couples massage for nearly $300 if I had known they wouldn't accept gift cards.

I have been a member for almost a year, my sister bought me a massage for Christmas and I started it then. A few things have annoyed me over the time including when it was originally called an hour massage but was barely 50 minutes. And now the price increase to $80. I was considering canceling my membership due to the price increase because I didn’t feel like it was worth the $80 but was choosing to hold on until after the holidays. On 10/6 I went for my massage and afterwards asked the woman at the desk if we could put my account on the 3 month suspension due to vacation and Christmas coming soon. She said it was no problem and that it would start again 1/17/25. On 10/20 I get a phone call saying that my payment didn’t go through. When I told her that it should have been suspended she told me she wasn’t sure why it hadn’t been but she could suspend it now, but we have to sort out the payment first. When I asked for clarification she said that they have to charge my account for the $80 before suspending it because the system wouldn’t allow them to. I expressed my frustration because I didn’t budget for this and I purposely suspended my account for a reason. She placed me on hold for 5 minutes, came back and said that she will talk to the manager but there was no guarantee that they could push it back. I informed her that if that was the case then I was going to cancel my membership. She calls a few hours later and the first thing she said is that I will get a free aroma therapy upgrade due to this confusion. I asked what was going to happen with my membership and she said unfortunately they would need to take the $80 today before suspending my account. I told her to go ahead and cancel it because as I told her I didn’t have the $80 because this shouldn’t have even happened if your employees would have done their jobs. She tells me that she can cancel it but to understand that when I come in I would be charged the normal price…I let her know that I had no intentions of coming back. Not even a minute later I get another phone call from a lead who informs me that she overheard the confusion and was able to suspend my account and push the payment…wasn’t that what the original girl was asking in the first place? Why did it take me finally getting upset before this was handled correctly? She then seemed to want to be praised, asking if that worked for me, and didn’t seem to like my answer of “I guess we’ll see in January.” It sucks because I did like Billy and Noelle but the front desk and management ruins it. I am usually not a “Karen” but this was $80 that I didn’t budget for because I put my account on suspension before the payment was due and basically was told too bad too sad give us your money. I honestly don’t believe the girl I spoke to actually went to management or maybe they thought I would have just laughed it off once told sucks to suck pay us the money? I am not sure if I will continue my membership come January, and I definitely am not recommending them to anyone else.

I had a massage and mini cold stone facial from Italia last night, and it was incredible start-to-finish. She asked me what area I wanted to focus on most, and after that she was able to find pain points and work them out without me having to guide her! It helped maintain the relaxing and quiet session that I was looking for. Then, with my facial I wasn't sure what to expect, but I walked out of there feeling like my skin was brand new even with it being a mini add-on at the end of my session! I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a quick pick-me-up or a consistent future masseuse!

I had an incredible experience at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa! Cecil, the masseuse who attended to me, was exceptionally professional and attentive to my specific issues. Without me having to mention them, he addressed all the pain points I was experiencing. This was hands down the best massage I've ever received. Cecil's passion and dedication to his work were evident, and his customer service was top-notch. I also want to express my gratitude to Mya and Brianna at the front desk (apologies if I got the names wrong) for their warm greetings and excellent customer service from start to finish. I was so impressed with my experience that I immediately booked another appointment and signed up for a membership. Self-care and outstanding customer service always have a special place in my heart. Poor customer service. Always booking and canceling even as you are sitting in the waiting room and your appointment time has past. They have no back up massage therapist. Manager not available and when called no solution for her staff other than reschedule days away or call other location in Harbison. These are appointments made weeks in advance for an ongoing prepaid client. Manager to date has not returned my call although I threatened to cancel my membership. No concern to her after my two year membership so I canceled.

I'm giving 3 stars because of Sierra's great performance (facial massage). She is just amazing. Otherwise, I would have given 1 or zero star. The massage itself is great, honestly. But my issue is with the "administration" regarding billings or payments. I noticed contradictory and unspoken/unrevealed policies from one lady to another. For example, someone should have clearly told me from the very first day that once you cancel your membership, you'll still be charged the following month (pending a 3-month credit). Not having this crucial information and being told, "hey, just so you know, you'll be charged again next month, even if your membership is officially cancelled today..." is very upsetting, disrespectful, and awfully embarrassing. You can't throw such a hidden information in someone's face and expect her/him to be happy. Money is not really the problem here. However, there must be more clarity and a specific need for transparency within the organization, especially regarding billings or payments.

I called before coming and was told there was availability and when I drove here which was less than 10 mins I was told the spot was taken….when I called before hand…then she ask, if I want to look at tomorrow…absolutely not….i don’t want to look at anything that you have….will not walk a foot back there. Have a blessed day to late at night to be playing with my time. Unacceptable.
