I have been going to Happy for 10 years +. This salon was recommended to me by my doctor for their healthy hair products that they use. I have seen Kay all this time and Amy for the last 2 years. The quality of service is impeccable. I have transitioned with Kay from her old venue to her current one and now to the new cozy space too. It is truly impressive on what they have done with their new space. They are so personal with their service and so welcoming too. I love going to such a high end salon without any pretense. Would recommend this salon without any hesitation.

I came to Happy Salon and Spa on a friends referral and I was not disappointed! The owner, Kay was lovely and so knowledgeable and came over to check on me and my stylist, Emily. Emily was amazing! I needed a serious color correction and she fixed my hair with the perfect grey coverage and natural highlights. The blowout was awesome, too. I am now a devoted and HAPPY client.

I have been going to Happy for years and have never had a bad experience. The owner is so thoughtful in her approach to her clients. She always listens to what I want to do with my hair and is very accommodating to my schedule, even if I happen to be a few minutes late. Oops. I love this convenient location and highly recommend this women owned business! You rock!

I just had my highlights done at Happy Salon by Brittany! This is the best highlight I’ve ever had and I love this adorable salon. Emily did my shampoo and my blowout, gorgeous! Everyone I spoke to was super sweet even the owner greeted me when I came in. You get a cup of Aveda tea and while the conditioner is on your hair, they give you a hand massage which I definitely needed! I rebooked my next appointment before I left, can’t wait!

I wouldn't go back, if they paid me! This is an old school salon, that caters to loyal customers that have been coming for years. I wouldn't recommend trying out for the first time, because they don't listen to what you want. They do your hair on how they think it should be done, which is outdated in my opinion.

This charming little Aveda salon is located in a 100 year old historic house right near downtown on West Sixth St. Added bonus: they have plenty of free parking! The stylists are all friendly and talented professionals. The owner Kay is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I highly recommend Happy Salon for the great location, chill atmosphere and exceptional customer service. It's called Happy for a reason!

Very inexperienced stylists. They double book so they can make money and this cuts into your service time and experience. Not a happy salon, but greedy cattle call salon. I had highlights in March 2022, color touch up at the end of April and because of the double booked situation, I over processed, fried my scalp and my highlights were gone! I was told to book and pay for new highlights!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!

Worst experience of my life ever here. The women cutting my hair was ripping chunks of my hair out w a skinny comb . I literally cried for days , I felt so shame and she tried to shame me like my hair was ugly … I had hair to my butt and she cut it half off , everything I did Not want that is what she did . Stay away from that woman with very short hair like a Boy Hair cut almost . I was in such shock after that -I cried for days . BEWARE She did not like me , and she did not like my hair . She should have just been professional instead of giving me PTSD . Shame on you - I have beautiful hair , it’s not my fault you don’t . Don’t you ever shame an innocent person like that , tried to make me feel bad . If you don’t know how to cut someone’s hair or do what they want - tell them straight . Or refer to someone else

I go to Sonya for cut and color and she is amazing! But you can't go wrong with any of the stylists here they are all very talented. I have also had my makeup done here and an updo for my wedding. It's a great salon with a great atmosphere and wonderful customer service. Definitely recommend!

I was so grateful to get an appointment here last minute. Emily, Denise, and Hayley were all so kind and accommodating, and they did a great job with my hair! Hayley really knows how to help take what you have so you can work towards what you want, and I'm so grateful to have found her! And Denise has magic hands. I'm going to need her to wash my hair every time. Thank you so much ladies!!

Love Happy Salon! Sonya is my go-to for great cuts and color, and their covid-19 precautions made the experience feel very safe. I like the friendly atmosphere, the easy parking (despite a downtown location), and the hospitality and conversation. Highly recommend!

Recently moved to the area and desperately needed a haircut. The owner, Kay, was so pleasant and accommodating when calling to a schedule an appointment. The stylist, Denisse, was super friendly and did an amazing job with the cut and style. Highly recommend Happy salon if you are looking for a new salon or stylist! Wonderful experience!
