I got a shag cut from Dakota. Literally the best stylist I’ve ever gone to. I live down on the coast and it is well worth the 4 hr drive to go up to Portland to have Dakota cut my hair. Recently I brought my son up to have Dakota do his hair, and was fortunate enough that Dakota fit me in too. The salon is classy and comfortable. I really like the location as well, some places it’s hard to find parking but it was pretty easy to get close parking. I can’t say enough for how amazing Dakota is and what a wonderful job they do!! Thanks for the best cut ever, can’t wait to see you again!!

Venice is amazing. Venice used to do my hair in Denver, then she moved to Portland. Now I get my hair done in Portland :) She is truly the best. Haven’t been able to find anyone as good as she is since she left. Portland is lucky to have her.

Had pleasure joining my friend for her haircut with Venice at this salon and I can only say good things about the salon and everyone who works there. Venice went out of her way to make sure my friend was satisfied with her haircut and hair color. She's funny and very sweet. She'll make sure you leave her chair satisfied and confident. I've gone to Julie at Harris Harper for years! She is a delight. Sometimes I come in with a plan, sometimes I just ask her to do whatever my hair needs. I'm always happy with it. I have wavy/curly hair that I wear both curly and straight and Julie cuts it so that it can be flexible.

I've been going to Annaliese for over a year - she's very careful to listen to what I want and is great at providing recommendations after hearing how I maintain my hair on a day-to-day. She's super friendly and great at both silent appointments and fun conversation. I would 100% recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a great hairstylist that can give great low maintenance hair styles and hair color.

I got a haircut from Hannah and it was the best haircut I’ve had in awhile! It was quick, and she achieved everything I requested. She ended our session with the best blowout! Definitely coming back to this cute salon.

HH is adorable & cozy & doesn’t have the judgey feel to it that a lot of salons do. I have had the opportunity to work with Savanna who just crushes it with Blonde. She has a quiet calmness to her that is easy to be with & she asks the right questions to have her understand what you want. I love her dedication to her craft & that she’s never upset with the mop on my head haha. Annaliese, girl, you a real one! She completely made my nerves go away & we gushed over great hair that we love. She understood the assignment & cut my hair in a way it hasn’t been in a long time. Last minute before a trip I really needed a bang trim- Annaliese was out of town & shared the contact info of Dakota. Dakota responded by txt & was able to get me right in. They were super easy to work with, listened to what I needed & made me feel at ease even though I wasn’t originally their client, what a doll. I love the collaborative feel here, everyone works together so well & helps each other out- no competitive edge. LGBTQ friendly. Non judgmental. Gorgeous humans helping gorgeous humans, this place is a vibe.

Annaliese at Harris Harper is the absolute best! If you want a cut/color that will have you unapologetically looking at your reflection nonstop in windows, etc. Annaliese is IT!! Love the salon's location and vibe too. Thanks for all you do!

I absolutely love coming here!! Hannah has been doing my hair for years and always gets it right. She is very personable and fun to be around. We started with a full bleach and tone vivid color and over time she got to me to a super natural balayage where i can still have fun colors in my hair without the high maintenance. There’s nothing bad i could say about hannah or the salon, i love coming here and recommend it to everyone i know!

I came to Harris Harper after another salon cancelled on me last minute. By some miracle there was an opening the following day with Sam Davis and with their outstanding reviews I was excited for my appointment. Sam took my dark flat box color hair and gave me beautiful highlights with amazing dimension. I had no idea it would turn out to be this beautiful and I fell back in love with my hair again. Fast forward two months and I had Sam do my hair again days before my wedding (of course she did an amazing job). She is incredibly talented, not to mention easy to talk to, friendly and funny. I had an amazing experience and will continue to go back to Sam. Side note: the salon has a tranquil and modern vibe and convenient location.

I originally chose to try Harris and Harper because it was geographically convenient and located a block from my office. I feel so fortunate that I was able to get in early and become Zach's customer. Over almost five years he has cut my hair long, as well as short, and every time it comes out amazing. Even better, when I do it myself the next day it still looks good. Not to mention he is an amazing conversationalist and teaches me something new each visit. I can't recommend this salon enough!

I was blessed to receive a haircut from the absolutely fabulous Dakota! From start to finish their extensive yet effortless knowledge about how to style/cut my hair was complimented by their stunning personality. I wish I could give more stars. Dakota reset my relationship with salons and gave me such a great refreshing yet stunning haircut. I felt heard and supported throughout my time there and will be going back for sure. Such a stunning and great person to be around, as well as the other hair artists there too. Definitely book because you will feel heard and will get the outcome you hope for <3

I've been going to Harris Harper since I moved to Portland and I absolutely love it. I've specifically been seeing Annaliese, who is amazing at her job and so so friendly. Every time I leave the salon I feel so confident and pretty! I highly recommend this salon, it's clean, super aesthetically pleasing, and I don't see myself going anywhere else anytime soon :)

I’m just going to add to this 5 star salon! Hannah is MY FAVORITE. She’s been doing my hair cutting for years and I just dyed my hair with her for the first time and I’m in LOVE. Can’t stop doing a hair flip in the mirror:) I recommend giving her some guidelines and allowing her to do the rest because she’s so good at what she does. You won’t regret booking with her or this salon! 💕💕💕

This place is the best salon I've ever been to! The stylists take the time to ask questions about how you care for your hair, what products you use, and what you're looking for. This helps them to make the best suggestions, not only for the cut or color, but your future hair care as well. There's parking nearby. Prices are reasonable. All staff is super nice, helpful, and always going that extra mile. Love, Love, Love ❤️

Annaliese provided a fast, stylish cut. I don't usually like the way a new cut or style looks right away, but Annaliese did a fabulous job! This salon is light, airy and filled with beautiful live greenery. Products smelled superb and lasted a long time.

Got my hair done by Hannah and I highly recommend! Was my first time seeing her and she was super sweet, made sure I was comfortable and asked me questions throughout the process to ensure I would be happy with the final product— which I was :) The salon is also very cute, and had great music playing. Definitely go visit Hannah next time you need a haircut or dye!

Had my hair cut by Christy today, she is absolutely fantastic with curls I felt very comfortable with her cutting and styling. She is very engaging and friendly, happily explaining everything being done and why it’s done. As a result I have a fantastic haircut coupled with the new knowledge on how to best care for it. Highly highly recommend Christy for handling curls :))

I have been going to Christy Fthenakis for curly haircuts for 2 years now and I'll never go anywhere else! She's a magician with curls and has absolutely transformed my hair for the better. I have been going to Richard for a couple of years, and he is my favorite hair stylist I have ever had. He’s amazing with (artificial) blondes, and I have loved every haircut I’ve gotten from him too. I really appreciate how honest he is; he never pushes anything on me and I am never surprised. Just consistently beautiful hair every time. It’s a bonus that he is so easy and fun to be around. Highly recommend!
