First time visiting this salon, and James did amazing job in men's cutting. Definitely recommend anyone with longer hair looking for proper styling.

I went to Lucas here and he was incredible! He is a perfectionist and looked at each curl making sure everything was the length I wanted it! Highly recommend him!

As a guy with thick hair and a beard, I used to think getting a haircut was the same as getting my lawn mowed, with the same outcome each time. That is until I met James. He helped me figure out what I had been doing wrong and delivers great work each time. Definitely recommended if you want your hair looking sharp!

Can't beat the location of the salon! After work, running over to get a fresh cut and color I avoid all the 5 o'clock traffic. Not only is the salon convenient, their work is hands down the best. I've always been pleased with my results. Thank you!!

He knows what he is doing, great person, overall great experience. I just moved and was looking for a reasonable priced hair salon and I got blonde highlights and it turned out perfect.

I have a crazy wavy beard. Like the track at Darlington, it's too tough to be tamed. But James manages to get it looking clean and respectable. Never had anything other than phenomenal experiences in his chair.

I live in Charleston and drive 2 hours to let James cut my hair. And there are a lot of great stylists in Charleston, so that should be a testament to how exceptional James is. He is a truly SKILLED professional. I’ve been coming to him exclusively for around 6 years now, and as long as he’s doing hair, I’ll be loyal to the end. Always a REALLY nice, clean cut, and I ALWAYS get compliments. Plus, he’s good people all around. Personally, if you care about your cuts/color, I’d recommend driving from anywhere in South Carolina to visit Harrison James Salon. It’s quality every time.

I started going to James over 5 years ago when he was at another salon. My 2 adult sons and I didn’t hesitate for a second to follow him to Harrison James! He’s incredibly talented, has an amazing eye for color, and skilled with both women and mens’ cuts/style. James is never rushed and takes the time to listen. We trust him implicitly with our hair and you should too-you won’t be sorry!

I’ve been coming to James for more than 5 years now! I followed him from his old salon to James Harrison, because he’s the best! Nobody has ever colored my hair as well as James, and I’ve been getting my hair colored for 15 years. He actually listens to the style/look you want and executes it perfectly every time. I highly recommend James and his salon!
