November 9th I book an appointment for November 15th for service of a Sew-in ($200). I contacted the hair stylist (Jonique) directly to add a wash and trim to my appointment which cost an additional $25. The hair stylist cancel the day of arranged appointment and rescheduled me for the 16th at 8:30 AM. The hairstylist was late to the appointment, she openly said that she was sick and did not wear a mask. I arrived to the hair appointment with washed hair to save time before my event. The hairstylist was overbooked and attempted to do me and another clients hair at the same time. The Stylest was cross contaminating by trying to blow dry and styling tools in my hair and the other clients weave. Once she was done blow drying my hair she attempted trim my natural hair but only one side of my head. I asked the hairstylist do I need to come back and get my natural hair trimmed even out? She responded yes. The stylist began sewing down the net upon my request to protect my natural hair. The stylist didn’t sew the net down properly which created great tension on my head, then she began to sew in the weave extensions. Once the styles was completed installing the weave she began to trim and curl. At first glance, the hairstyle was pretty but lasted the evening. I noticed once I lifted my hair up, I seen large gaps between tracks and loose thread and tracks. I could also see my braids and the net. The installation of tracks and the net was so sloppy it was unraveling. I contacted the hairstylist directly to see if she was willing to give me my money back or fix my hair, we arranged the next morning to attempt to fix it. We met up at the salon, she was late. I requested that she cut the tracks out and re-sew the extensions neatly. The stylist did not reinstall the tracks as I asked she just sewed extra tracks and rearranged them on my head which brought more extreme tension to my scalp. After she attempted to fix my hair, the second time the hairstyle began to unravel again and I asked her for a full refund. She decided to give me only $45 and a free service. I declined due to my experience and requested for a full refund. Once I told her I would not accept only $45 and I want a full refund, I’d told her I’d settle for half since she attempted to fix it but she stopped responding to me. I reached out to the salon Haus Davinci Hair Salon directly to talk to her manager. No one responded to my text or call. I’m questioning the stylist cosmetology license because I don’t think she knows what she was doing as far as what I meant by trimming my ends and a basic sew in, nor did I see her license number at her booth. There a couple reviews on the Style seat booking site under the stylist name Jonique that she is unprofessional and a scam. I’ve been serviced by the stylist twice before this. This is the first experience that I’ve had with her that lacked quality, professionalism.

Christine did my wedding party makeup in August. She was extremely professional and everyone looked seriously incredible! She even dyed my mom's hair the day before so she would have fresh color for the day of the wedding. She can work on all types of hair textures as well. If you're getting married, she is your girl!

People are nice and knowledgeable. However it’s expensive and I’ve never heard of a predominantly black hair salon charging a “thick hair fee”

My experience with Haus of Davinci has been superb. I have been there twice & I have experienced professionalism, the salon is beautiful and you get a warm welcome when enter. Chris is amazing she listens to your wants and delivers . I left the salon both times feeling good about my hair and looking forward to my next appointment. She has a very innovative style. If you want to have an amazing experience Haus of Davinci is the place .

I've gone here twice after my hairdresser of 2 years moved out of state. The atmosphere is amazing and the hairstylists here really make you feel comfortable. I have complete confidence in whatever they do because I've been blown away both times. 10/10 highly recommend. (I've had styles by Chris and Kami and both women were absolutely fantastic!)

Loved it!!! My hair was flat, and boring before, but I got a haircut with layers and curtain bangs, and I feel so much better. The service was great, all staff was friendly, especially Tiffany. They as well use professional products, and gave me advice as to how to take care of my hair. Would totally recommend!

Everytime I come, I get the best service. I’ve gone to so many hair stylists in Ohio, and Chris is the best. She’s accommodating, professional, and brings a unique vibe to high street. I go to her for color, silk presses, and curly cuts. It’s nice to work with someone who cares as much about my hair as I do.

I got my hair cut and colored by Kami, she did an amazing job! She was super professional and very sweet. My cut and color came out perfect! Exactly how I wanted it. Also my hair is very much still healthy and my natural curls are popping! That was my main concern because I have had my hair colored and I’m the past and it was badly damaged. So I am very pleased with the outcome and health of my hair! 10/10 experience! Plus the ladies in the shop are such a vibe! Feels like a sisterhood. ❤️

I got my hair done by Shere’ea, she is very laid back, friendly and professional. She made sure that I was comfortable along the way.. I’ve received so many compliments on my braids! Hair was provided and the price was GREAT and very reasonable for the length and size of the braids. The salon is chic and inviting! I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. I got a cut, color and blow dry style by Najee. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My hair turned out amazing! She also took time to explain to me how to properly care for my hair at home. I knew at that point I could trust her to keep my hair healthy and growing.
