Evan came highly recommended by a friend, and after seeing him, I can not sing his praises enough! Not only is he incredibly skilled at what he does, but his passion for his craft truly sets him apart. Every time I sit in the chair, I know I’m getting just the right style for me and I always leave feeling great. On top of that, Evan is just a joy to chat with. It’s always a fun conversation - more like happy hour than a haircut. I’m so grateful to have found such a talented, approachable stylist. Now I bring my daughter to see him and I highly recommend him to my friends.

I came here a few days ago for a haircut and blow dry with Evan and he was amazing! He's super professional and will give you exactly what you're looking for. He was also great to chat with and created such a welcoming environment. Very few people can get my hair right, and he did exactly that. I also loved that he took me through each process so I felt confident in what he was doing to my hair. 10/10 will definitely be back!

Evan is the best! He is an absolute genius with color - he really thinks deeply about every detail, how the style will grow out over times, how colors will blend, etc. He is also incredibly knowledgable about hair types and the best styles and products to make your hair look amazing. I recently learned that Evan does haircuts for kids, too, so I brought my son to him for a back-to-school style. My son loves his new haircut so much, it's absolutely adorable. Now my husband wants to go to Evan, too, so that will be my whole household :) The salon is really nice, too. Everything is always so clean and comfortable, and everyone who works there is so nice. And you can't beat the location if you live in Mueller!

I booked last minute, not only were they able to accommodate me but I loved the way they understood what I wanted and it turned out great! I also had many options from different price ranges and it was explained with a lot of transparency.

If you are looking for a friendly, professional, and personal touch salon, Haute European Salon is your place and Becky Page Packard is your person! Having just moved to Austin, in the Mueller area, I am so fortunate to have found Haute salon, and specifically, Becky who took the time to figure out a color match for my highlights and base color, before masterfully highlighting my hair. For over 20 years, one person has kept my blonde highlights and root color consistent. That’s hard to do. Becky took the time to really look at the dimensions of my color and also researched the previous products and color used on my hair to come up with an amazing match - exceeding my expectations! I also had the opportunity to meet colleagues Evan and Stasia who were equally friendly, and compassionate and Evan also offered perspective. It’s clear they have a genuine collaborative working relationship which speaks volumes for each of them, the salon owner and the salon culture. I have been Kati's client for five years now, and I wholeheartedly trust her as my hairstylist. Every time that I come to the salon, her and her team make me feel welcome. Kati takes a holistic and inclusive approach to hair. She listens to my hair wishes, we talk through different options, and make a plan together on how I can achieve my desired look meanwhile maintaining the health of my hair and scalp. Evan is truly outstanding. He makes my drab gray hair beautifully blond in a way that brings me many compliments. I usually go in every five weeks for root color but he has a particular way of doing my highlights so that I only have to do them every third time.

I would have posted a lot sooner but I've been too busy getting compliments about my bangs--thanks to Evan! I had such a great experience having him walk me through the bangs he was giving me, and how to style them. Evan genuinely wants you to feel good about the way your hair looks.
