I've been a Haute Mess customer for years and I love my treatments by Sophie and Elissa. Sophie recently switched my regular lash lift to a keratin lash lift and I cannot emphasize enough how LIFE CHANGING it is. I originally started doing lash lifts to avoid daily lash curling. The keratin lash lift not only makes my lashes look amazing but they also promote a healthier, thicker lash. Sophie is dedicated to her lash craft and is always looking for the best options for her clients. The keratin treatment is proof of that. Thanks for making me look and feel beautiful, Haute Mess!

UPDATE: Sophie recently began offering keratin lash lifts and fills, which I tried for the first time at my last visit. I’m extremely sensitive to lash glues but love the look of extensions, and this treatment gave me the look I was going for without any irritation! My lashes instantly looked so much darker and longer, and I’ve had significantly less fallout since I got the treatment done. I always feel safe and confident trying anything Sophie recommends since she is so well educated and has my best interests at heart. This service is definitely a must try! I can not recommend Sophie and Elissa enough! I first came to Haute Mess after I had a terrible full set of lashes done elsewhere and I couldn’t get the lashes off myself. Sophie saved me, removing the lashes and helping me through the recovery process. She has also given life-changing skin care recommendations and went through the list of products I already used for things she would remove and products she has found more effective. I have never felt like she or Elissa have ever upsold me— they both give such genuine recommendations based on your needs. They are both so welcoming when you come in, I think every new client feels like they are talking with friends! They are also incredibly talented at so many services. I come for lashes, facials, and waxing. Whether you know exactly what services you need and just want a comfortable, friendly experience, or you’re looking for trustworthy recommendations, Haute Mess is definitely the place you should go in the Denver Area!

I truly cannot express just in one review how much I love this place!! I have been going for a lash lift + tint with Sophie for a little over a year at this point and I am IN LOVE. The lash lift and tint is so easy to maintain and is perfect for my lifestyle. My natural lashes are pin straight and on the lighter side, so this really makes them look so much longer and gorgeous but still very natural. I go about every 6-8 weeks to get them redone, and it’s always something I look forward to :) especially since Sophie is so sweet, friendly, and really cares about making sure you have the best experience. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try if you’re looking for an amazing and skilled lash artist!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Sophie and the rest of the girls here are so professional at what they do and I couldn’t be happier w their services. I’ve been coming to Sophie for lash extensions, airbrush tans and have had a couple of waxes done and I can’t recommend Haute Mess enough! I wouldn’t trust anyone else w my lashes honestly and the retention is amazing since they use top of the line products. There is plenty of street parking as well which is another plus since it is downtown after all! :)

I absolutely love this place! The environment is so cute and calming. The staff is super friendly and amazing, they go above and beyond for their clients. Sophie is the absolute best, so kind and my lashes always look amazing when I walk out of there. I go there looking a hot mess, but come out looking and feeling like royalty!

I came here for a while to get my eyelash extensions done by Sophie. She was awesome. She was sweet and friendly and did an amazing job. Unfortunately, I can’t wear eyelash extensions right now, but I just wanted to write a review because she is such a wonderful person and great eyelash artist.

I found this pace off a Groupon two (ish) years ago and I fell in love. I even left CO and would schedule my brows around my visits home because I love Elissa so much. Not to mention this is a locally owned salon by two awesome ladies!

I had a spray tan done today by Keeli. Firstly, the plane is super clean. Secondly, Keeling was very professional and made me feel comfortable. She took her time and was very detailed. I will definitely be coming back.

I initially had a great experience at Haute Mess Beauty Bar but then was so very disappointed in the tan I got. Customer Service- top notch! Friendly, kind, professional! Truly lovely humans! And I loved the cover and color of the tan the first day. However, it started coming off in only a few days, :( I was so sad as I had planned for it to last at least the week I was away on vacation. Perhaps it could have been impacted by an existing sunburn or using sunscreen over it? I would love to come back and to refer to friends as I so loved the beauty bar environment and the staff but I can’t rationalize spending on a product that doesn’t last. I would love to hear back if there is another product or treatment that I can try for a better experience. Will definitely update this review if my experience changes.

I love coming to see Althea. She is friendly, outgoing, and makes you feel comfortable in some of the most uncomfortable of moments. (when addressing intimate areas) The place is always clean and staff is friendly as well and helpful. I never have to wait around to be seen and if I have had to cancel or get in touch with them they always reach out right away and address my needs. Definitely recommend them for quality and professional work in a comfortable atmosphere.

I can only speak about Cat as I have followed her from salons in past! She is the sweetest person and really talented! I have her tint and wax my brows every 5-6 weeks. She is amazing at what she does, very detailed! I'm really contemplating having her do the micro blading on my brows. Her before and after pictures are amazing on her IG page @the_lashenchantress the shop is in a fun location on broadway and I have never had an issue finding close parking on street!

Cat is INCREDIBLE. From the moment you start your service with her you know you’re in great hands. She is thorough with the consultation process and does beautifully precise work every time. She is my go-to for all services, but my personal favorite is when she works literal magic on my brows with a wax and tint. (She does threading, too!) I’d give her 10 stars if I could. You will NOT be disappointed if you book with her!

I HIGHLY recommend Haute Mess Beauty Bar. I have been going to Ashlee for my lashes for over a year (she was previously at another location and I followed her to Haute Mess) and I can't say enough good things about her. I am constantly complimented on my eyelashes (seriously, I ran out of Ashlee's business cards I was asked so much). She has the ability to make your lashes look natural while still giving you the "oomph" you want when getting eyelash extensions. I had no idea what I wanted when I first came in and she knew exactly what would work with my eyes and natural lashes. It helps that she is the sweetest person ever. I also just recently got a spray tan at Haute Mess from Sophie (one of the owners). I have tried every fake tan/spray tan out there and haven't had much success... UNTIL NOW. She was so detail oriented and really took the time to make sure my tan was even and perfect. As I was leaving she noticed my dress straps had rubbed a bit and she immediately took me back to touch it up before I left. She was also incredibly kind and personable. The space is so cute and light. Bottom line: Haute Mess Beauty Bar better stop adding new services or I will have no money.

These girls are awesome! You can tell they really care about the business they’re in. The space is super cute and comfy and everyone is there to ensure a good experience. Fairly priced. Many different service offered. Teesa is so quick and so efficient and I love how my lashes look every time! Definitely recommend this place is you want to get pampered or treat yo self!
