Love, love, love Carly! I'm a natural curly girl and moved to KY from across the country and needed to find someone new. She was recommended and I was hesitant (not just anyone can cut curls well). She was fantastic from the start and demonstrated knowledge of curly hair. I can't recommend her enough!

First time going to Carly after she cut my husbands hair and several friends. I knew I wanted to lighten up my color, and hadn’t been happy with how my bangs had been cut at previous salons. I gave Carly a couple of photos of hair styles I liked and then let her do her thing. By far the best haircut and color I’ve ever had. There’s so much depth and dimension to my hair now and my bangs are finally doing what I’ve always wished they would do. Reasonably priced and worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back!

Carly is THE best when it comes to blondes. She can take any vision and perfect it, making it look completely natural. Before meeting Carly, every time I had highlights or balayage done, it was just never quite right, but every execution she has done on my hair has been spot on. She's a perfectionist and is completely worth the investment!

Carly is a hair goddess. Seriously, she's a magician. She took my damaged, frizzy, red/brown hair and corrected it to a perfect, shiny, healthy, chocolate brown. I instantly loved it and can't recommend her enough! She knew exactly which color would look best with my skin tone and even educated me about how she was styling my hair and why. It was a luxurious experience. Her scalp massage was heavenly. I would have paid $400 just for that. But I didn't have to because she's affordable. She is bubbly, fun, warm, and so knowledgeable about hair styling and hair products. I can't recommend her enough!

I’ve been on a hair growing journey (at no desire of my own) because I just hadn’t been able to find someone to give me the cut I wanted, or the cut I’m used to. I have baby fine hair but it’s thick and I wanted someone who wasn’t afraid to cut/razor/thin it out. Well. Carly delivered exactly what I was looking for and more! She listened, was super friendly (and funny!) and I loved her so much I booked my next appt before leaving! You will not be disappointed if you find yourself in her chair!

Carly is amazing! I have been searching for years for someone that can do my hair. I’ve had a lot of bad hair in my life. I’ve finally found someone that I trust! Plus, she permed my fine, pin straight hair, and made it curly and voluminous!! There’s not many people that will perm a 27 year olds hair and not make it granny-style, but Carly did it! Highly recommend!! 😘

Carly makes dreams come true! I was never the type to keep up with my haircare/do much to it at all. I went to Carly wanting to make my hair lighter, and having no idea how to get to that, but had a picture. Carly literally gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, but somehow better! I used to dread getting my hair done, but Carly makes the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing. Another thing I adore about her is that she explains what she does to my hair/how certain things can help/hinder it. I had no knowledge of hair care before I met Carly and have noticed a huge difference in the health of my hair since. I could go on about her forever, but long story short - book the appointment. You will not regret it!

I moved to Lexington in January of 2023 and did EXTENSIVE research on finding a hair stylist. I'd had the same person for over 10 years in SC, then was in NYC, so I was nervous to find someone new. I surely didn't think the first person I went to see I would LOVE and decide to stick with :) Carly is so personable and really listens to what you want, but is also happy to offer up ideas she thinks would look good based on skin tone, face shape, etc. We recently did a balayage and she sat with me and scrolled through Pinterest looking at ideas to make sure I was 100% comfortable with what she did. Plus she has amazing taste in music and is so easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

This was the best experience, hands down, with my hair I have ever had! Definitely needed a change with my waist long hair and asked for a lighter and brighter coppery highlighted look. Got EXACTLY what I was picturing, just better! Pictures speak for themselves. Took so much less time than I was estimating even considering just how much hair I have. The cut she gave me after was also tailored perfectly for me. Recommend 10/10. Completely obsessed with my new hair. Not to mention Carly is such a great human to talk to, so down to earth and kind! Full of great advice and knowledge that I felt really gave me the tools to keep my hair in good condition

Carly Sachs is a hair genius IMO! I went in with brown hair with what I call a skunk stripe of gray hair and after a long process during which I learned that not only is she an amazing person, she is a master of color. She was able to transform my color into what I think is a gorgeous gray. I have received so many compliments on my color and everyone is asking me where I had it done. Carly makes you feel right at home in her salon, highly recommend!

Carly is AMAZING! Boy, does she know what she is doing! I went in feeling really self-conscious about my hair and hair care routine. But I came out feeling much more confident and knowledgeable about how to take care of it. She made me feel like the coolest person in the world. She gave my hair the treatment it so desperately needed and cut it perfectly! I love it! I can’t wait to go back. She is calling this my “Healthy Hair Journey” and I’m so excited to be on it with her on my side.

Carly is a hair magician! I had damaged my hair so badly I was super close to just shaving it all off. Went to Carly and she assessed the damage, came up with a game plan, and within a few months my hair is the healthiest it’s been in a long time! We were able to come up with a style and color that I LOVE, without sacrificing length since I want it to grow out. In my next few visits, the damage will all be gone/off and it’s all thanks to Carly! She has done in a few months, what no other stylist I tried could do in years. I will forever be thankful to her for giving me hair that I love!!

I have always struggled to love my naturally thick, corse unruly hair but after my visits with Carly I finally feel like I have the hair I have yearned for all of my adult life. During my initial visit she listened to my dislikes and frustrations with my hair and offered several options to help me achieve my healthier more manageable hair goals. She addressed problem areas I had regarding color from previous stylists and gave me options to address the concerns. I put my full trust in Carly with my hair, not something I do lightly, and she did not disappoint! Highly, highly recommend!

I swear by Carly Sachs for all curly hair needs!! She has done a fantastic job educating me about how to take better care of my hair and always takes her time to make sure I leave loving how my curls look. I was simply looking for a quick haircut, so I googled hair salons near me and luckily stumbled upon Carly. She is extremely knowledgable and will gladly answer any questions/concerns about your hair. Carly took her time and made me feel like a long time client. So personable! Listen. Carly is the absolute best. I've never had a stylist who both knows what they're doing and how to do it and also can't explain to you the whole process without judgment. I have short fine hair that needs help with volume and I frequently lighten and dye vivid colors. My hair always looks supermodel fabulous every single time I leave. She's a wonderful human, with the kindest heart who does a truly amazing job both because she has talent and skill AND because she genuinely cares about every single person who sits in her chair. If I could give her higher than 5 stars, I would.
