HBSA Beauty Bar became a pillar in my life a year ago! I wanted to wait a year to write a review so I could really assess my journey with the team. Too often after a service, you write a review, and the quality you once received declines. Well I am here to tell you. If you are debating whether or not to click that link to book, MAKE THAT APPOINTMENT! I stopped getting relaxers and my hair had grown several inches. I love how the team takes care of my hair and puts healthy hair care as the #1 priority. Additionally, I appreciate how the owner is personable and fosters a clean relaxing environment while you are being serviced. Love love absolutely love the love I have received from the owner and assistant!!!

I absolutely loved my hair and experience at the HBSA beauty bar! When I arrived I came already washed but GUESS WHAT? I WAS WASHED AGAIN BY THE OWNER'S ASSISTANT & I must say, I LOVE a good wash! While all of my services were being done I was offered wine, water and snacks! after being washed and dried, she started my hair and I almost fell asleep a few times, that how gentle she was with my scalp. I HAVE NOT WORN SYNTHETIC HAIR FOR MORE THAN A WEEK IN THE LAST 15+ YEARS, when I told Nika that, she assured me that she would thoroughly soak all the hair being used and the supplies over night in ACV. I wore my Locs for the entire 7 weeks until I took them out for a break and to not die in the summer heat of FLORIDA! I cannot WAIT to go back for this service and this experience. The owner is Kind, thoughtful, creative and a woman of God! I would recommend this Beauty bar to anyone who wants to try this style! 10/10

The stylist at HBSA BEAUTY BAR was very amazing and kind!! She was super professional and quick. She even steamed my hair as long as I wanted to make my hair style more comfortable for me. I will definitely recommend and I will be booking again. Thanks girl !! Returning client 12/30/23 Omg I love the stylist she’s so down to earth, a god fearing women who’s about her business and very professional! I would always recommend her!

I always have a great experience at HBSA BEAUTYBAR! Schneika is a very talented hair stylist who provides excellent services at her establishment. One thing I love about each of my hair appointments is that she's so quick! As a mom of 4 yr old twins I usually don't have a lot of time to spend getting my hair done, but I know when I come to her I won't be in the chair forever and my hair will look super fly! She is also very down-to-earth and kind so it makes the appointment enjoyable. I definitely recommend her services! And with the hair included, wash/dry services included, and steam treatment included where can you find better services?!

I purchased the long soft locs. I didn’t receive the suite number until I arrived and I was okay with that because…safety first. Shanika (my apologies if I misspelled your name) started right on time! I’m allergic to synthetic hair and she took that serious and did the apple cider vinegar soak to pull the bad chemicals out of the loc prior to me arriving and that seemed to work for me. I skipped the last steam that she normally does once finished with your hair just to avoid opening of the hair “follicles” and exposing anymore chemicals. She started with shampooing and conditioning my hair and she did a steam treatment for about 10 minutes or so. She offered wine and she turned on whatever I wanted to watched—which I had no preference and we settled on a gooood show lol. She worked quickly and efficiently. Since this was my first time I didn’t know what size parts I wanted or if I wanted knots or knotless. She showed me the difference on her page and was very patient. She took pics of my hair along the way for her content and showed me the progress which I was fine with and it built my excitement. All in all I’m very pleased with my hair and I’ll definitely go back. The best customer service I’ve received since moving to Tampa. I feel so PAMPERED! Thank you!!!!

My experience was amazing, definitely going to come back. My favorite part was the steam treatment after my hair was conditioned and after getting my soft locs. Bonus: I have a new show to watch on netflix now (Queen of the South)

Schneika, provided me with great service. She is the only hairstylist that I’ve seen in years that actually wash your hair and properly treat it. She put some much time and detail into my hair maintenance I left with such a clean scalp and feeling so beautiful. She was so courteous and lively.
