I had a haircut and blowout with Sevin . She made sure to listen to me, had me give her feedback before she was done, and it turned out to be one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I wanted a Goldie Hawn vibe from the 90s meets 60s ye-ye girl and she delivered!!! Also, bonus for astrology and crystal talk!

Never getting a haircut anywhere else ever again if I can help it! Liv’s been cutting my hair for a couple years now. Been getting a super cool sexy shag, but recently got a super cute triangle bob and I couldn’t be happier. Always get tons of compliments after a visit here.

Amazing! I was so happy to find a salon that was welcoming and supportive. My hair needed a lot of TLC after a few months of illness. Michelle was able to help me get the TLC I needed and shine through. I wish I had somewhere to go afterward since it looked so nice. Thank you all and I’ll be back!

Been getting my hair dyed here for a few years and it’s always been a pleasure. Even when my usual hairstylist isn’t there or too booked I can always rely on the expertise of the other stylists there. Recently received a haircut for the first time and found the care for my hair was superb. Being that it was my first time I was able to sit with my cut for a few days and if I felt like it was not right I was told to stop by to adjust. Can’t say enough about the care for hair they have here. It’s a must go to salon. You won’t be let down.

Excellent spot for cut & color. I’ve seen Anessa, Michelle & recently Lindsay. All are excellent with cut & color. Lindsay did an excellent job - dare I say hair whisper - distilling the look I was going for while tweaking it based on my hair’s disposition & face shape. I would give more stars if I could. Everyone is lovely here, service is excellent!

First time in the salon and had a haircut with Michelle P. Loved her, she was patient as I have very thick and long hair , she’s great listener and understood what I wanted. I am so happy with my hair and loved my visit. The minute I walked in i was instantly welcomed by Mila and felt relaxed. I hadn’t had a haircut in awhile.. I have a lot of hair and Mila gave me a great shampoo . Thank you for making me feel extra good on my Birthday.

Great, laid back salon. I’ve gone here a few times now for haircuts and have been so happy with the results. I’ve seen Lindsay. Felt listened to and then guided to help make sure we ended up with what I had mind and what works for my hair.

Headdress is a great salon! Everyone is very polite and friendly. My hair type may not be fussy, but I most certainly can be. Sam always does an exceedingly good job cutting my hair; she listens to exactly what I want. Prices are typical, but worth it.

nice, tiny salon. front desk was a little unorganized, and liv was a little cold at first and i had a hard time connecting with her but once we got on the same page, she gave me a haircut im really happy with! would probably go back

Fine I guess. I’m just a dude so nothing fancy done. Wish the hairdresser would just take charge and stop asking me questions. I trust you stylist, just trim the hair. You went to beauty school - not me! UPDATE: I have since found a different stylist at this salon, and she does a wonderful job. Her name is Sam. Would recommend booking her.

This is a lovely salon. I go to get my hair cut with Liv, she has the magic touch for shaggy layered cuts for curls or waves (but also straight hair).

Went here once for a haircut it was fine. Tried to book again and got into a car accident. They still charged me $50 which is half the price of the cut. Extremely rude.

Wow. I have commitment issues when it comes to my hairstyle and how I maintain it, but I loved everything about Headdress and if you have curly/wavy hair or just want comprehensive layering this is THE place to go!!!

I have never been to a place as friendly and welcoming as Headdress. I had my hair colored by Anessa and cut by Liv. Both are absolutely amazing and took the time to make sure I look my best. I have never been to a place where so much care has been put into my hair, and I am so grateful to have been introduced to these guys! If you are looking for a new salon, I wholeheartedly recommend this place! They could be your hair whisperer 🙂.

Anessa and all the Headdress Hunnies make this the best salon in NYC. Very reasonable pricing and amazing results. After years of getting my hair badly colored at high priced salons on the UES, Anessa fixed my color and it's perfect. Cool vibe in a woman-run business.

Bunny is such a lovely person; she took care of my hair and give me a beautiful shampoo and blow dry. She’s a great conversationalist and ready provider of wine. I recommend her highly if you want an intimate salon experience. This salon is super cute.
