Hands down the best salon in Austin. Katie, along with all of Headspace's stylists are the perfect mix of professional and friendly and they make every appointment feel like you’re treating yourself. I can walk in, trust them completely with my hair and my vision, and know I’ll walk out feeling amazing. Plus they’re more than just a salon - they have fun happy hours and events, and they always have the cutest pups hanging out 😍 The whole place has such a good vibe and I couldn’t recommend them more!

This is the dream team salon I have been dreaming of for a decade in Austin TX. They are taking over. I could not be happier with Laura and her team, Taylor, Gracie, Emma, Ivy. Every single one of those girls treats you with kindness and respect. They are a family. If I could I would spend most days in there chit chatting and eating fun snacks and diet cokes and petting whichever shop dog is there that day. Please trust these women with your life and your hair. Extensions are so beautiful, highlights. They have never missed a beat. 10 STARS!!⭐️

I absolutely love my new haircut and style! Sophie is truly amazing at what she do. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and made expert suggestions that suited me perfectly. My experience at Headspace Salon was amazing; my hairstylist was Brooke who was great at taking my inspiration and making it a reality by giving me what I envisioned by meshing my ideas and her expertise. The salon was a very inviting and comforting space that I will definitely be coming back to. The images I added are my before and afters of my haircut and color.

10/10! My stylist had to go home due to being sick and Erin worked me in so I was able to keep my appointment. She was so kind and helped figure out the best way to do what I wanted. I did not feel rushed and other stylists helped out when they had a free hand. Everyone was very nice, personable, and having a good time.

I haven’t had my hair done in sooo long, and didn’t realize the extent of color that was needed in order to achieve what I wanted. I initially booked myself for a partial highlight and haircut with color melt. After getting there and explaining to my stylist Michaela what I wanted, she told me a full highlight would be needed and explained the process. I hate being “that client” and didn’t want to put her behind on her schedule or make her feel rushed, so I told her just to do what she could with what she had time for in the slot I booked. Despite being a little crunched for time, she nailed it. She went above and beyond my expectations. She was able to do a full highlight, correct the dark brown, tone, color melt and do a trim and blow out in record time! She also did it so gracefully and made me feel super comfortable and welcomed. She didn’t give off the slightest bit of annoyance with my situation. Michaela was informative and explained the process the whole time. It made me feel like she was really knowledgeable and enjoyed doing my hair. She was also able to achieve a very very light/platinum blonde in just one session on previously box dyed hair. I didn’t even think it was possible. She is truly the “Claude Monet” of hair styling, she Moneted the sh*t out of my hair. The salon itself was clean and adorably decorated. All the plants give it a great vibe. Thank you Michaela for exceeding my expectations and being so kind and patient with me throughout the process. I will definitely be coming back.

I started seeing Macaela this year for my balayage upkeep, and it has been the best experience thus far. Macaela is kind and funny and is great about helping her clients achieve their hair goals! She is very skillful in every part of the process , and really showcases the balayage with her amazing cuts and style. She’s a real life Picasso! I love the entire headspace salon environment and always look forward to my next appointment.

Michaela is the best!! I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted, so she took the time to come up with a plan to take my hair a bit darker for the winter and absolutely killed it! She was super professional and detail-oriented. It’s the best color I've had by far!

Taylor has done my gel-x nails a couple times now and every single time she knocks it out the park!! She’s creates beautiful designs and is so friendly throughout the whole experience! I recommend her to everyone!

Absolutely love coming here! The salon is such a chill vibe and the entire staff is fantastic! I’ve been going to Annika for 3 years now and she’s the best :) I fully trust her to make me look good and don’t even bring in photos anymore. Love seeing the pups in the salon too when they’re there!

I had the absolute pleasure of getting a Russian manicure from Taylor, and it was hands down the best manicure experience I’ve ever had! From the moment I sat down, Taylor’s attention to detail and expertise were evident. Every step was done with such precision, and the results were beyond flawless. My nails have never looked this clean, smooth, and perfectly shaped. She truly has a gift for making you feel pampered and cared for. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond to give you the perfect manicure, Taylor is your girl! Highly recommend!

I'm not sure where to begin talking about my awesome experience here. I could ramble on but i'll just say this : I'm 37 years old and since i was a kid i have ALWAYS hated getting my haircut because i ALWAYS leave disappointed and unhappy with the results. I stopped getting haircuts after a while and just started buzz cutting my own hair. Then i grew it out.. long.. very long.. with the occasional trim every once in a while. It has been long for the last 17 years with maybe a couple years where i tried a short cut and hated it. I went to headspace because the vibe and decor of the place was right up my alley and it was only 4 minutes from my house. I was nervous booking the haircut but i am so happy i went. I have been on cloud 9 today after my cut with Gracie! I've never been so happy with a haircut in my life and i got tons of compliments all day afterward. I can't wait for it to grow out a bit so i can go back and get another epic cut! I had a nice espresso before my cut provided by the salon and while i was getting my hair shampood and conditioned, the sweet little shop dog jumped in my lap and i just sat there in heaven getting my hair shampood while petting a cute little pup. I really can't say enough but i would highly recommend you give this place a shot next time you're in need of a cut, styling or any hair care for that matter. Very very happy today because of my awesome haircut and the experience as a whole. Thanks Headspace <3

I worked with Liz. I had come in after someone had botched my hair. She was very delicate and understanding with me. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and made me feel better about the process of fixing my bad cut. I told her I don’t know how to do my hair, and she gave me step-by-step instructions on how to style it. I’m so thankful I finally met someone who understands and listens to me. But, most of all is kind and gentle with me. I will be coming back to Liz in the future. 💕

Katie West has been doing my hair for the last 7 years and I genuinely can't recommend her highly enough! Friendly, knowledgeable, and someone I fully trust to get my blonde coloring right and the cut just perfect. The space at Headspace is wonderful too - I love the plants, how friendly and conversational everyone is and the fact that you can have a drink or a snack while getting your service.

My daughter had a wonderful experience at Headspace Salon...From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere put a big smile on her face. The staff was incredibly friendly and skilled, making sure she felt comfortable and excited throughout her visit. The transformation was fantastic, and her smile hasn’t faded since we left. Headspace Salon truly knows how to create a joyful and memorable experience...they definitely made my little girl happy. Highly Highly recommend! It doesn't feel right to give them 5 stars...they deserve way more than 5 stars.

My first appointment was great ! My second appointment was disappointing, I was brought in late, my appointment felt rushed, my hair was washed without placing a towel on my shoulders and water was splashing on my face, and my haircut was good but I had to point out several times that some areas are not the same length. Its not cheap to get a haircut here $179 but I wish my experience matched this expensive price ! I dont think I will be returning anymore.

My first service with Achlie was excellent! She “repaired” my color and style (from a different salon) with focus & grace. I’m very pleased with the beautiful results. Headspace is welcoming, clean, has snacks and cold beverages, a sweet Labrador and friendly stylists. Parking is easy and it’s easy to find off the highway. Highly recommend!

The salon is super cute and comfortable! I’d been looking for a new salon and I’m so glad to have found Headspace! Sophia cut and styled my hair and she did a great job. She did exactly what I asked for, had good conversation, and made me feel welcomed. Their salon dog, Lola, was also perfect!

Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Achlie! She transformed my hair beyond my expectations. Her attention to detail, creativity, and skill are unmatched. From the moment I walked in, both Achlie and her assistant Liz made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Liz was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. Achlie listened to my ideas and then worked her magic, delivering results that were even better than I imagined. My hair has never looked this good! Achlie and Liz are truly an amazing team, and I recommend them 10/10. If you’re looking for a stylist duo who are both talented and personable, look no further! 🌟
