In relation to tanning: Hours are not correct on the site. You have to have a very flexible schedule to tan here. I recommend calling everytime because today said 4, I was turned away at 3 pm. Granted prices are cheap but beds are older so you need every day you can get and that isn't always easy to obtain with the akward hours, esp around holidays because they often close days at a time. Extremely nice group of ppl though! And, again, Extremely affordable prices.

I had a consultation at a ritzy salon in Southside who assured me that my hair was unsalvageable and to wait 6 months before consulting with a vivid color artist. Quoted price was close to $400. Thank goodness for Missy at Headturners! She spent about 4 1/2 hours on my cut and color. Missy is super sweet and consulted with her team to give my hair the best results possible. Friendly atmosphere. Lots of lil grandmas coming in and out. It felt like you were hanging out with family. Wonderful experience :) Attaching before and afters

I happened upon this great salon when I moved to the area over 10 years ago. I haven't gone anywhere else since. Kristy does an amazing job and there are always laughs to be had! I think it's a cross between Cheers, Mel's Diner and The Golden Girls for hair salons!

Ive been getting services forbiver 5 years. Headturners staff are always great and accommodating. Love that I can get a pedi while I wait for my color to set. Kristy and the staff make it feel like home.

This was my 1st time there, Kristy cut my hair. She did an excellent job on hair that was quite a mess!! Kristy, Kathy & the rest of the staff there were all very friendly & made me feel welcome. I'll definitely be returning!

Absolutely charming little place. Went there to get my hair washed and straightened, have returned for a haircut, and will most likely return again for hair color Everyone is very friendly. They have procedures in place to keep everyone safe. They are very fast, but it doesn't affect the quality of their work. I would suggest asking for Kristy, but really anyone there will do a wonderful job. Make sure that you wear your mask, this location is very covid safe.

Simply the best in all categories, It's a great place, the staff really makes you feel at home. Their products are excellent and their skill sets are amazing wether it's hair, nails or tanning. The price for services is great. Also, they follow the CDC covid guidelines to assure the safety of their customers and staff.

The staff was amazing and extremely nice. The owner even took extra time to make sure I was happy and pleased. Then other staff members fed me cookies and coffee. I 100% will be going back. I feel like my hair was cut my angels and my heart left more full of love than when I arrived. Thank you headturners. I love you all.

Excellent staff, courteous and talented. They have consistently provided beautiful hair cuts and colors for my entire family for many years. Kristi is able to tend to the men in our family as well, giving a perfect military high “and tight” hair cut. It’s wonderful that they have enough talent to combine a hair salon and barber shop. We are always welcomed with big smiles and they work to accommodate us with our difficult schedules. All in all, a terrific place to take care of all hair salon and barber shop needs. I highly recommend Head Turners without reservation. It’s worth the very reasonable cost.

The salon is very clean, all the staff is friendly, Professional. I get my hair done every 6 weeks. They also do manicure, pedicure, eyebrows and tanning.
