I was really looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to mismanagement and poor communication. We booked our appointments well in advance and specifically requested female massage therapists, which was confirmed. Upon arrival, the front desk reassured us that we would be getting female therapists and asked us to wait in a separate room. However, we ended up waiting for over 30 minutes, even as multiple walk-in guests were seated and started right away. A staff member even seemed surprised that we were still waiting. Once our massages started, we assumed our request had been honored. However, we later realized that some of the female guests in our group had male therapists. This was never communicated to us at any point, and we only found out after the session ended. When we brought this up at the front desk, instead of acknowledging the mistake, we were met with dismissive and gaslighting responses. They told us we should have booked in advance (which we did) and requested female therapists (which we also did). They also said we should have switched therapists at the start—but that was never an option because they had already confirmed our request before the session began and never informed us otherwise. To make things worse, they asked if this was our first visit, which came across as patronizing since we’ve been here before. To be clear, the massage therapists themselves were great, and this is not their fault. Our issue was with the lack of honesty and accountability from the staff. A simple acknowledgment of the mistake and an apology would have gone a long way, but instead, we left feeling dismissed and unheard. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication and customer service. Mistakes happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference.

Absolutely fantastic, the best massage I've had! Thorough and transporting. The facility is tranquil and calming with private rooms designed to soothe, and the staff are great. Can't wait to come back!

This place makes for a great spa day, especially while traveling. The massages are well priced and worth the money. Both my husband & I got services & enjoyed the experience. Clean and quiet environment. Will come again when in town.

I recently tried this massage place for the first time, and I have to say, it was unlike any other massage I've had before. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly calming, and the staff were so welcoming and professional. The massage itself was absolutely transformative. I’ve tried several places in the past, but none of them have provided lasting relief like this one did. Usually, I feel some relief for a few hours at best, but this massage actually made a significant difference that lasted long after the session. The therapist was intuitive, really paying attention to my problem areas and using techniques that truly worked. I left feeling not just relaxed, but also pain-free in places I’ve struggled with for a long time. If you’re looking for a massage that provides real, lasting relief, I highly recommend giving this place a try! I’ll definitely be coming back.

The reviews are real. I was able to jump online and schedule a same day massage after reading the reviews online. The cost is very reasonable and worth every penny. You enter and take your shoes off and are greeted to a clean, professional space. There were several people in the foot massage room and several people relaxing in a greeting room sipping tea. The massage room was shared, but still made private with curtains. My masseuse checked in on me several times and provided an excellent massage. It was one of the best in recent memory! I cannot wait to revisit.

This was my 2nd time and honestly it won’t be my last. The first time I went I did a massage, face gua sha, foot massage and eye cleaning. I didn’t know what to expect but I have to say I felt amazing after my appointment and my eyes felt so clear. Today I did a massage and had her walk on my back it was definitely needed. I also added an ear cleaning and back gua sha. I can’t explain it but this is not like regular massages you will actually feel your body release the tension, pain and muscle soreness. If you go ask for Eva she’s great!

Honestly, the best deep tissue massage of my life! A bit painful, as I had a lot of tight spots and knots, but totally worth it, as now I'm feeling a huge relief. Very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Better bring cash to avoid the extra 8% fee for paying with card. I'll be definitely returning to this amazing place!

I am a Veteran Hairstylist with Decades of Standing on my Feet and Using my Hands. My Best Cuz recommended me Give Acupuncture a try. She had an Serious Fall and since her healing has been slow. So I came and for my Lower Back and Hands. It takes about 2 Days to really kick Inn. When i tell you I am 55 and I feel 35... if you have any aches and Constant Pains. Give this Natural low side effects Eastern Medicine a Try.

I am so grateful to the healing spa of Philly for their excellent massages and services. They are always so friendly and professional. Their prices are very fair. I have been making it a priority to go every week and have felt so much more relaxed.

I initially went off the reviews when I found this place, and they are worth every dollar! The service is great, the place is very clean, and Amy the masseuse was really good. I had a 90 minute booking, and then she referred me to get cupping for an extra $40. I suffer from anxiety and PTSD.. I left out of there a new person, Amy kicked every tension out of my body! I’ll be back soon

The staff was friendly, the shop was clean and relaxing, and the therapist was very skilled. They focused on my shoulders and back, and I felt so much better afterward. The pricing was reasonable too. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

I'm actually now in the same boat as one of the previous reviewers who lives in the DC area but travels to Philadelphia just for Healing Spa of Philly. I've tried so many different places for foot and body massages but none comes even remotely close to Healing Spa. After multiple visits, I can say all of their therapists are very skilled and diligent - they can feel where I need them to spend more time without me even saying anything. The facilities are relaxing and incredibly clean, down to every last detail. Way better than even the most expensive spas at 5-star resorts. I'm already planning my next trip to Philadelphia just so I can come here again!
