I have been so busy in my work life and home lately... .totally misremembered an event in 2 days I thought was a week away! Ugghh my hair has been suffering for several months. I remembered a awesome experience i had at Healing Wisdom many years ago and wondered if they still dud hair cuts. I called them and the sweetest voice answered (Mary). I told her my dilemma and she explained that she had nothing open until the next day. (I already had a prior commitment and was looking for sane day. (I know almost unheard of)! She said she could call Tamara and see if she had any openings but that she typically is off Thursday and Saturday. I told her it wasn't an emergency and didn't want to bother anyone on their day off. Well Healing Wisdom scheduled me same day after my wirk hours, ABD Tanara came in on her day off for me!!!! I am not a regular client But they made me feel like the most valuable person! Tamara arrived, offered me tea and then asked me some questions. I swear she poses some kind of magical skills! My hair hasn't looked so beautiful or felt so good in many years (or ever) lol. If you are on the fence, please give them an opportunity to prove how beautiful your hair really is!

Healing Wisdom Salon and Spa on Warren Way in Reno is WONDERFUL! Not only did I get one of the best cut and color AND facial ever, I also enjoyed the entire visit! The comforting home salon smells so good! Bryna’s facial was heavenly! Tamara’s cut and color made my grumpiness turn into a 😊 smile! They are quality! I truly enjoyed my time at Healing Wisdom Salon and Spa and highly recommend it!

Absolutely the best place to go if you want to feel welcome and at peace no matter what you are getting done. Tamera is so professional yet personal, I know I’ll be a client for a VERY VERY long time.

This place is amazing , Tamara specializes in long hair and it really shows ! She always does my highlights beautifully. I’m a natural dark brown for reference of the photo.

I had 90 minute massage with Alyssa, what a fabulous treat! Her energy was so so incredible, a sweet and calming presence. The salon makes you feel good the moment you walk in. I need to do this more often. I highly recommend Alyssa and Healing Wizdom!

Normally I don't do reviews. Worst place ever! Got my hair done for my wedding and it looked like a 5 year old did it. It was like she tried to purposely sabotaged my wedding day.

Amazing staff with amazing services, they even offer certificates for either an hour massage or hour facial for $90 it’s a great gift for someone!

I absolutely adore this spa and it has been close to my heart since I found it back in 2008. Mary, Cassandra and Alyssa among all other staff will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed for any service! Not to mention the products they use are very high quality! I recommend them beyond a doubt for anyone looking for a relaxing spa day and to get pampered...so please by all means check out their vast array of services to make you feel like you are playing among the stars!

MY FIRST WAX EVER! and really wow! if your looking for a more personal experience for your personal needs like sensative skin or just special requests i would come here too. i didnt feel like i was just a number at a clinic or salon. i felt like a person. i was most anxious about being touched especially in the intimate places or possibly judged. i was relived that i felt so comfortable and the oils are so soothing and relaxing. i got the brazilian, under arms and legs because im going on a long vaca and i dont usually shave and dont want to be bothered with the sensitivity of shaving while im gone and to be honest maybe ever again. and $190 for the mess i WAS and the care i received, i'm so happy!

Had a great experience here. Loved the decor, and the ambiance was very relaxing for my massage. Mark did an amazing job. He gave my back relief I haven’t felt in years. Would definitely recommend.

I love coming here for my massages. Everyone is so nice and patient. I've been 3 times now, and each time I've seen someone different. Although all 3 massages were very different, they were all good. I felt much better after each time.

The owner is an awesome artist. The atmosphere she created has a magical feel. Every aspect has attention to detail. I didn't use all the services but it's a full services salon. What s not to love about this place !! The people , the atmosphere - all wonderful . Tameras does amazing things to my hair - she's the best at what she does . Massage , hair , plus body & skin care ! I love this place. I just went again after quite a while. Tamera was wonderful , made me feel great, and as always, my hair looks amazing ! I enjoy just talking with her. She's highly intelligent, friendly, and knowledgeable on just about any topic. I brought my granddaughter in this time, and we bought a safe conditioning red highlight for the tips of her hair. She is thrilled at the outcome and really enjoyed watching Tamera work on my hair. Now, she wants to become a hairdresser 😊

This is a full service salon and I go here for everything. The people are so amazing and accommodating and the service provided is the best I've ever had. Facials, hair, waxing, it's all an amazing experience, and I highly recommend!

This is one of the best salons with an amazing owner and everyone takes pride in their work and has great energy. The space is very peaceful and I enjoy being there. They serve tea after your appointment which not only tastes great but also is a nice calming touch. It is one of a kind.
