I found Jenny to be very attentive. She was capable of pointing out some facts to my 97 yr old Mom without offending her. Miraculously my mom, who has cognitive decline, has remembered some of those facts. Mom and I both felt she was warm and caring.Her treatment decision today was spot on and I am so appreciative.

I have never encountered such insolent service!! First of all, my mother received filler from the nurse practicioner who prescribes mental health medications and the receptionist was telling her how fabulous she looked when you could barely tell. Secondly, I have dual insurance and not only should I not have been billed, but I am due a refund. This practice is crooked period and I plan to get a refund!! Do not trust Miss Furlough!

As a new patient, my experience has been disappointing. I frequently had to follow up to ensure prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy, and remind the practitioner of what she’d suggested. On two occasions, I received significant health diagnoses via text message, which appeared to be copied from internal notes without any context or explanation. When I had questions about my care plan, I submitted them in writing and was actively refused a response until my appointment, at which point the questions were avoided until I pressed again. I also took a blood test and had to follow up several times to receive the results. I was initially told the test had been mishandled and wasn’t run, but later learned that part of the test had been processed, containing important information. This was communicated via text with minimal details and no guidance on next steps. From the start, there seemed to be a strong emphasis on selling weight loss injections rather than focusing on my overall health concerns. Even after I refused, the nurse greeted me the next visit by complimenting my nonexistent weight loss. When I asked for more comprehensive explanations of my health issues, the responses became short and unhelpful. While I can't say for certain that this treatment was related to my race, it did reflect patterns I've experienced elsewhere. When I tried to address concerns and get clearer answers, I felt as though I was treated as a problem, rather than a patient. Instead of accountability or an attempt to improve service to the level that I see others have experienced, I was simply told that she did the best she could. I would not recommend this practice. It seemed to offend them that I wanted to be an active part of my own healthcare and actually understand what meds I was being given or what approach we were taking and why, but they also proved why that is so absolutely necessary for us. If I hadn’t continued to ask for my test results, there’d be an entire diagnosis I was unaware of (and thus couldn’t be treated for) just sitting there in my chart unaddressed.

I'm 76 years old, and technology is not my friend. But doing a zoom call with Jenny was easy & convenient. More importantly, Jenny was familiar with my medications & easy to speak with. Most importantly, Jenny is very knowledgeable in her field.

Jenny has been so empathetic and supportive to me, I’ve never stayed with a medical professional this long, and my mental health is the best it has been in years (: Melinda has also been such a sweetheart. Their new office is so cute and cozy as well.

Same as always. Everyone is very thorough and amicable. All of the medical staff are friendly and ready to answer any of my stupid questions. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Health and Wellness to family and friends. See you in October.

Me and my wife Love JENNY is is excellent at returning email and phone calls for us. She's always on top of any of our concerns and questions about medication and she is better than most Dr's. Goes above and beyond her duties!!

I normally don't take time out for myself so when I decided to do some self care I'm glad I found this place. CJ is awesome! she's always made me feel comfortable even though I'm self conscious of my body. Jenny too has been helpful in explaining everything to me in a way that i understand. They also are willing to work with you with payment plans and such. I have finished my treatments but I'm definitely going to come back to do more! Taking time out for self love is important!

Jenna and her nursing staff are top notch. They go above and beyond their call of duty when asked. When I asked CJ to start the steps to get the ball rolling to put my father in a nursing home she was eager to help me with the steps even though it was the nursing homes steps to ask for the paper work to be sent to from the doctors office to them. Coming from a family stand point you never want to have to do this to your loved one but at some point when you need more help then one can give you have to do it. So I think you guys for going abound and beyond your call of duty. As I have said before when I first came to cville health I never trusted doctors and to this day Jenna and her staff and not only gained my trust but made me a loyal client and as long as they are a round and I am around I will be there client. Thanks again for everything you guys do.

The staff are very knowledgeable, always courteous, and the service is expedited quickly and the explanation of the procedure was very clear and concise. Very efficient operation, and that was just the evaluation! I can't wait to start the actual sessions. I think the best is yet to come! If you're depressed or have any disorder linked with depression I think you should look toward this as an alternative to many of the drugs that medical psychiatrists prescribe. I especially recommend Jenny and her staff at Health and Wellness Medical Services to provide this to you. They get an A+ rating in my book.

These guys are great!! I called them while I was at work and they didn't hesitate to help me and bring me in the same day within a half hour and took care of me as always!! These guys are the best!!! Everyone there is super nice and make me feel.comfortable.

They really seemed to take the time to listen to my issues and at no point did I ever did I ever feel rushed or hurried along. The Nurse who took my blood for evaluation did an amazing job. This is a really nice place.

I very much appreciate the promptness at my visits. On occasion if there was a delay staff always communicated same and kept me apprised of same. Jenny Furlow is always patient, listens to and addresses any concerns. I feel her assessments and treatments come from a wealth of knowledge and, more importantly, experience. I do not feel rushed or as if she is in too much of a hurry to rush off to the next patient. I also appreciate a simple direct approach which I feel I get from her. The various folks that I have encountered during my visits that are training with Jenny have in every case been pleasant, kind, thorough and well prepared.

My daughter, EC, was having a rough time, 18, but still in High School and in her Senior year. She was talking of quitting. She was very depressed and not going to school. Jenny Furlow was able to work with her and working to get her out of her out of her depression and back in school. I am ver thankful to Jenny and her staff!!
