Ridiculous policies. In response to owner: actually I have been to your salon. I accompanied a friend. The most troubling thing was/is the abortion in the 3 trimester posters hanging.

Sam is a wizard when it comes to curly hair. She knows exactly where to cut so when the curls fall, it looks natural. I LOVE my haircut❤️

Siddal consistently provides the most skilled and friendly hair care I've ever experienced. I travel from Issaquah to get my hair cut by her because she knows what she's doing. Not only are the cuts great but they grow out nicely too.

Siddal is a skilled and experienced loctician. She is careful to listen to what you want and do just that. If you don't like it, she will do all she can to fix it. She's also very smart and methodical. You won't be disappointed if you visit her at Helix salon. I am a very happy customer.

I had a great experience at Helix Salon. Siddal was very friendly and did a wonderful job on my curly hair that hadn't been cut for two years. She was professional and easy to talk to. She used great products and gave me tips on how to style my hair with ease. Would definitely recommend Siddal and return again.

This is the first haircut ever that has worked for my curly hair! Sam knew exactly what she was doing with my thick frizzy curls and gave me lots of tips. Definitely going to come back here

Love this place! Siddal is amazing. I've never worn my hair natural before (always straightened it) and she gave me a great cut, shaped my hair for curls, gave me advice for taking care of my hair, and recommended some products to me. I'd highly recommend for anyone with curly hair

I left very satisfied! Siddal was helpful, understanding of what I wanted, and gave great tips and instructions on how to apply product and care for my curly hair. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted my look to be, helped me achieve it, and gave me the tools to sustain it. My first cut that was specific for curly hair turned out amazing. Bonus points for covid safety and comfort measures, this is a small business that caters to your needs. We were the only two in the salon and sanitizing and contact tracing was the first step. Absolutely recommend curly heads(or anyone) give this salon a try!

I saw Sam for my haircut! It was great! I'm completely in love with it. She is an expert at cutting curly hair. I will definitely be going back. I've gone to many other salons around downtown Seattle and this is the best by far for curly hair!

Siddal is very knowledgeable about hair care and loc maintenance. The products recommended are natural and will not cause build up. She is by far the best stylist I have encountered from Lacey to Seattle and I have tried a few. Will recommend and will return.

I got a cut from Sam last year after hearing amazing things about her online. I walked in very excited and ready for a change. She felt distracted during my cut. She took a break while my hair was drying and "forgot about me" under the hood while talking to a co-worker outside. The metal hair clips under the dryer burned my scalp after 35+ minutes of hot drying time. I remember liking the cut quite a lot, but not absolutely loving it or the experience. I appreciate the time she took to give me advice on product application. I personally have not returned but I have since recommended 2 friends to her who have said their cuts were awesome. I think I just caught her on an off day.
