This review is Johanna my daughter came for a wax she told this girl she was uncomfortable the wax was too hot and she kept on saying telling my daughter it’s the temperature it’s gonna be hot but it should not have Ben and uncomfortable hot it’s like every time she told Johanna something she kinda disregarded how she felt she said Johanna was a nice lady but she felt like she ignored how she felt

Johanna is super attentive and accommodating! I have been getting waxed for years and recently moved so I had to change waxing locations. I looked up waxing places near me and Hello Sugar had some pretty good reviews, so, I decided on it. Johanna was my Esthetician and after that first appointment with her, I didn’t want to see anyone else. Even though I have been doing this for a while Johanna made me comfortable and welcomed. I say this because the set up is a little different than your normal waxing salons/boutiques. You do have to undress in front of your esthetician since it is just one room, however, I never once felt uncomfortable with Johanna. If you are a first timer and are looking into getting waxed I HIGHLY recommend Johanna.

Melissa ROCKS! She does an amazing brazilian sugar wax (very meticulous). She's super sweet, easy to talk to and makes me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend her to everyone!.

This place pissed me off. They need to update their stuff. I've drove 20 miles to come do a walk-in for a wax just for them to tell us me and my daughter that they don't do walk-ins. .

I was supposed to have an appointment at 9 am today, no one was there. I waited 15 minutes, called the hello sugar number the woman that picked up told me that it shouldn’t be much longer. It hits 9:30, I call again and the woman on the phone said my esthetician had a family emergency that’s why she’s running late, I ask will she be here soon, she says back “she probably won’t be there for another hour or two so we can reschedule.” I waited 30 minutes, no one told me that my esthetician was no longer coming, I had to reach out myself, no one would’ve contacted me otherwise. I did reschedule but I don’t know if i’m up to paying a company that left me out to dry and didn’t do what they could to contact me as soon as they found out my esthetician was no longer showing up.

Horrible experience there on my second time. Their management is even more Horrible. I paid for the membership and left with unhappy results. You would think I would have been refunded but nothing. Please beware of this place. Wish I could post pictures of the horrible job

Melissa is the best, if i could give her another 5stars I would. It was my 1st Brazilian, I was so nervous. She's so nice and very informative, really calmed my nerves. shes quick and very little pain. Nothing like I imagined, I will definitely be booking with Melissa again.

Hello Sugar is the best sugaring salon ive ever been to. The estheticians are so professional and made me feel so comfortable. If i wasnt from out of town I would see them and only them for sugaring.

I made an appointment and was running 9 min late. I called and let them know I was running late but was on my way. I got to the spot w 1 min to spare. I looked around because it didn't say “hello sugar” it said “salon boutique”. I walked outside and was making a video because I vlog (thank god). I walked up to the front and the doors were locked. So I walked around to the side and everything because I couldn't figure out how to get in. I went to call the number again and saw text come over saying sorry you missed your appt. I was confused. Its like 7:11 at this point. I call the number as I'm I walking back to the front there was a girl there opening the door. She tells me I wasn't there at 7:10 and so blah blah… I'm like what? Seriously? Its like 7:13 by time I whip out my phone and show her the video and she can't even say anything but “well you weren't here” w the literal time stamp of 7:10 me in front of the salon. I can't even imagine why someone would bold face lie like that. I def was like no I'm not rescheduling I can't have someone w that character giving me a whole a$$ Brazilian :/ crazy! I completely understand having rules but to lie and maintain a lie in the presence of irrefutable evidence is beyond wild. Her name was Jaylene or something close w tats all over. She had a bad attitude and did not want to do this service. That girl just walked out w purse in hand ready to go home smh!

Jaylene was awesome. That was probably the most painless wax I’ve ever had in my life, and I am a former aesthetician, so I know a good wax. She was also very friendly.

Jaylene was super friendly and professional. She made the experience a lot less painful since I was distracted by our conversation. However, her overall technique was as gentle as can be when waxing so that was a big factor in making it less painfull as well. She also took the time post wax to explain the memberships they offer. I highly recommend not only going to Hello Sugar at their Aliante location, but I recommend Jaylene as well! **if you are going to the Aliante location for the first time, read the check in directions thoroughly. I did not and spent 5 mins waiting to be picked up in the initial lobby but the instructions actually tell you where to go in the building.
