Used my Classpass points 38 which is hefty. I got a massage and cupping. There is a language barrier but they were pleasant. The cupping was suction and plastic and the kept falling off which was distracting. I thought the place was beautiful, there are nature sounds playing that may be an attempt at privacy but you can hear everything in the place. There are waters, Asian candies and Wasabi peas in the wait area that were tasty. Also, the masseuse tooks calls while she was massaging. I don't think I have ever experienced that before. I may go back to try the foot massage since the reviews are good. I was given an apple at the end and wish a Merry Xmas.

Amazing, my masseuse was able to tell that I had back and shoulder issue even without me telling her. She was very attentive, adjust the amount of pressure base on my reaction. Overall 10/10 would recommend

I've been coming here for about a year now for their foot massages, which I used to really enjoy. However, on my most recent visit, I decided to try their body massage, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. The foot massage, on the other hand, is still great. I came in two days in a row - the first day for a much-needed foot massage, and the second day to give the body massage a try. Regrettably, the body massage was disappointing. What really soured the experience, though, was the way the staff handled the payment. Typically, I pay in cash, but this time I used a card. Their entire demeanor seemed to change at that point. They then asked me for a higher tip, citing a transaction fee for card usage. I found this unacceptable. As someone who runs a service-based business myself, I know that the decision to tip and how much is entirely up to the customer. Additionally, if a business offers multiple payment options, they should not complain when customers choose to use those options. Especially when I had been a loyal, frequent customer. The staff was generally friendly and welcoming, but this incident has ruined it for me. I will not be returning, as I used to visit 2-3 times per month despite some language barriers, but that does not excuse the unprofessional handling of the payment and tip. In the end, I am disappointed that my once-positive experience at this establishment has been tarnished. I hope they can improve their customer service, especially when it comes to handling payments and tips, in the future.

UPDATE: came back for my full body massage and it was amazing! Full hour , hot stones, and it relieved my terrible back pain! I was aching for the past 2 days and needed this! One day later and my back pain is pretty much gone! So excited to return now that I have a membership Amazing reflexology massage! I can’t wait to come back and receive a full body massage

Was gifted a hot stone massage here for my birthday and I highly recommend! Attentive, friendly, and skilled service, highly affordable, highly recommended! Don’t forget to tip, as they keep their prices very reasonable and provide excellent service. Felt like a very authentic experience.

I’ve been here twice now and both times left feeling rejuvenated and like a new person. I’ve had massages at numerous places in Philadelphia, including spas, bath houses, and wellness centers—and this is by far the best in terms of price and results. Mei is extremely talented, very knowledgeable, and very kind. She even gave me recommendations for exercises and stretches to alleviate my back pain. I will be back soon! Thank you!

I was expecting to have a great experience based on all the positive reviews, but this was a get-what-you-pay-for situation for me. The facility was clean and calm but I was not greeted warmly, the massage therapist did not give me her name, ask any questions as to what I was looking for, or introduce what my massage would entail. She left the room multiple times throughout the session without warning. The massage was rough and frankly painful at times, and the massage therapist did not respond to my wincing or tensing. There was also a lot of focus on my butt cheeks and breasts which was uncomfortable, and is not something I had experienced in a professional massage before.

I strongly Recommend this massage therapist Brian at Herb & Gem Spa of S.Philly, he has done an amazing job, and I really feel a difference in my body after their treatments. - therapist's expertise and knowledge of the human body really impressed me. Was able to identify and treat areas of tension and pain. I appreciated the therapist's attentiveness to my preferences and feedback during the massage. They were able to adjust their pressure and techniques to ensure that I was comfortable and that the massage was effective. - The overall atmosphere of the massage sessions and Herb & Gem Spa was calm and relaxing, which helped me to fully unwind and receive the full benefits of the therapy.

I'm a certified massage therapist who practiced at a Spa in Santa Monica California. Working at an establishment that employed approx. 70 therapist gave myself a chance to exp. Many modalities (through trading) . Mei at Herb & Gem is in my opinion one of the best massage therapist that you will ever encounter. Mei's technique, knowledge of anatomy,and intuition puts her on another level of therapeutic care. They're not enough superlatives to describe her. Go see Mei!!

That was so good… They are professional as they said… They know clients need… I have a problem with my shoulder as I am a sushi chef so I get to head down like mostly 2 or 3 hours straight to make sushi everyday. The guy,my therapist was really really good and he knows about my shoulder and fixed it… My overall experience was fantastic and I am eager to go again…
