I highly recommend Hermie's salon due to the quality service, affordable prices, and customer care. I first came to Hermie a couple months ago for a keratin - she was very knowledgeable about the product she uses, gave me a great trim after months of braids, pressed my hair impeccably, and included products to take home to help my keratin last as long as possible! After washing my hair, when the results of my keratin weren't exactly what I expected, I messaged Hermie and she completely heard out all of my concerns and even added a new keratin product to her stock since all keratins are not one size fits all for everyone's hair (in my experience, a lot of stylists can get defensive about this kind of stuff so I was extremely happy that I felt heard, Hermie is so kind!!). I came back yesterday to try a different keratin and I love the results so far! Still, even with the initial keratin I got, the results were very good - I could go to the gym and work out all week and my hair still looked great. I didn't have to straighten/retouch my hair nearly as much (could go two weeks and then some with my hair straightened) and the amount of time it took to blow dry and straighten my hair decreased a lot around 45 min-1hr for the whole process. I was just looking for a product that would loosen my curl a bit more! Would recommend Hermie to anyone!

I recently visited Hermie salon for a keratin treatment, and I am beyond impressed with the results! As someone with natural hair, I’ve struggled with breakage and frizz recently after wearing braided styles for years, especially during the humid months and also the winter months with dry hair. After just one session, my hair feels smoother, stronger, and completely frizz-free. The breakage has noticeably reduced, and my curls are more defined and manageable than ever. The process was professional and comfortable, and Hermie took her time. I highly recommend this keratin treatment for anyone looking to enhance the health and appearance of their natural hair. It’s a game changer.

Had a wonderful experience at Hermie. I haven’t been taking care of my hair lately and haven’t wore my natural hair out in years. Due to breakage and split ends I thought I would have to do the big chop. When I Went to a Hermie, she told there was not need for the chop ( so glad because I really wasn’t ready for it) she did a treatment and gave me a silk press and I’m so happy how it turned out.

I recently had an exceptional experience at Hermies salon. From the moment I walked in the staff were professional and attentive, taking the time to understand my hair before starting. Hermie is skilled and friendly. She offered me. great advice on what would work best for my hair type. The service itself was top-notch, with attention to detail and a personalized touch that made me feel truly pampered. The end result was fantastic—my hair looked and felt amazing. Additionally, the salon maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I left feeling refreshed and satisfied. I highly recommend Hermies salon if you’re looking for a high-quality salon experience with experienced hair dressers. Who are in it for the people and not the money. I watched her shop growing up located in Flatbush and now in here. She has a customer for life ! I’ll be back.

Very unprofessional, this Lady gave me an appointment for today at 11 and asked me to call in the morning to confirm my appointment with her. I called her she said it was confirmed when I arrived to the place she stopped answering the phone. Waist of my time. But there is a good salon next door that is very professional in case that happens to you!

Came here for the first time for a keratin treatment and I soon as I got in my hair was started on. They are very considerate with the hair and not rough with it and explained everything during the process. The salon has a very friendly atmosphere and stylists. I was even given an aftercare bag after the styling was done. Great place :)

Had a wonderful experience here with these ladies. They truly care about your hair and gives the best advice for treatment. Ms. Hermie did an amazing job on my moms hair too. Ellie slayed my hair down real cute and I’m loving it. Will definitely keep going. For the best haircare try them out, you won’t regret it.. 👍😊

Hermie was very nice and accommodating to my many changes and was even able to take me earlier than planned! I haven’t straightened my hair in many years and was stunned by the results! I got the keratin treatment and a much needed trim, and I love it! She also gave follow-up care tips to help my hair last!

Hermione was really kind and did a really great job with my silk press. I have a lot of hair and we were done in 2 hours! I didn’t have to wait at all. I also enjoyed the general vibe of the shop. Everyone was kind, there was holiday music and funny banter. (Update as of 9/25/23) I’ve been coming for silk presses every month since my first review. And with a great to go pin curls and advice from Hermie, my hair has grown, curls better and I still get lots of compliments. Updated picture is from taking down my pin curls and after a full work day.

I had a terrible experience. My hair is thinning in the top, however, I showed the stylist pictures of how I wanted my hair. I initially wanted a haircut/curl and style, after looking at her body of work I knew she was unable to satisfy, I looked around at her hair products and they were not to my satisfaction. She engaged me around doing hair for over 40 years and she alleged she is edgy and she stayed relevant by attending hair shows etc. She finger waved my hair/the waves were horrible The hairstyle a total disaster If you’re looking for an edgy, creative stylist that loves hair do NOT patronize this shop you will be highly dissatisfied !!!

I was very pleased with the services rendered at this salon. The people where professional, kind, cooperative and very good at styling and treating my hair. My husband could stop talking about how much he loved the style so much better than my previous hair stylist. I was looking for somewhere new and I think I found it. Would definitely go back again.

I’ve had really bad experiences with salons especially with my kinky curls to the point where I haven’t been to a salon in a long time. I was very nervous to go and very picky on who I went to and I’m glad I took a chance on Hermie. She made me feel comfortable and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was very knowledgeable about my curls and her prices are reasonable. I am not longer scared of getting a trim and I will be coming back to her every 2 months for one!!

Ladies this was the best experience I ever had at a salon. I can only recommend Hermie from my 💜❤️. I came from Germany for a wedding and needed my Hair slayed for it. I was looking for a keratintreatment. Hermie gave me the best treatment I could ever imagine and made me feel like home. SHE ONLY KNOWS HOW TO DO RELAXED HAIR. I got a silk press for $80 and my hair is very natural. She does not know how to deal with natural hair, you’re better off going to the Dominicans because she will tell you that she can do your hair when she really can’t. The whole time she kept trying to get me to do a relaxer or keratin treatment. She put something in my hair that burned my scalp badly. She hot combed my hair and called it a day. If you’re young or a baddie don’t do it to yourself. I paid $80 for a silk press that lasted for less than an hour and she won’t even give me my money back. If I could post photos I would.

This salon was incredible! The owner was so kind, and sweet! I got a silk press, and they did a fantastic job! My hair was bouncy, and they even gave me flexi rods, and bonnet! This was my first time at the salon, and they took very good care of me! I recommend this place without any reservations! 10/10!!
