Suzie Stone is the best stylist I've ever had. She knows how to handle hair like mine- wavy verging on frizzy- so that it looks great with either the curls enhanced or blown/ironed straight. And the cuts always grow out beautifully. Cannot reccomend highly enough.

Charleigh did an amazing job with my haircut today! They listened carefully to my requests, exceeded my expectations, and even helped me come up with a budget-friendly plan for some light highlights. Not only was the haircut fantastic, but Charleigh was also friendly and easy to talk to. I had a great overall experience and will definitely be returning!

I always book with Socks and am never disappointed! They listen to you and ask questions to make sure you get the haircut/style/color you want. They areLGBTQ+/BIPOC friendly and I always feel welcome!

Keshia just gave me the best haircut I’ve had in Portland! She brought my wave and curls to life again and I can’t recommend her enough!!! She understood my thick texture and used such great products I had to buy them off the shelf which I usually never do! Seriously book with her she will take such good care of you❤️

Socks did an amazing job cutting my mullet! They made sure to ask lots of questions about what i wanted done with my hair. Ive had issues finding someone to cut my hair for the last 2 years, happy to say i finally found someone i want to cut my hair regularly!! EDIT: i recently went to get to get some color put into the mullet! It came out so vibrant and i love it! Going to add pics of each color we do cause it really shows their skills!

I followed Keshia here when she moved salons! Heyday is a colorful, unique, creative, inclusive, and welcoming space and I really enjoyed my first appointment. At this point I would follow Keshia to the ends of the earth for a haircut, but I'm thrilled that she's found a new home at Heyday and I can't wait to return!

I was super nervous about finding a new stylist after moving to Portland, but I couldn’t have asked for a better fit in Georgie! She does such a fabulous job with color and helped bring my hair dreams to life in a super collaborative way. Her scalp massages are also THE BEST. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a gorgeous cut or color from a rad human in a beautiful space!

I've been going to Georgie for a few years now and she is THE BEST. I first went to her 4 months before I was due to be in a wedding. When we first met, my hair was swamp monster green and by the time of the wedding it was a very pretty ashy blonde. Georgie is amazing with coloring and the cuts are always cute. She's helped me dye my hair various shades of pink, peach, blonde, red, and most recently blue. Highly recommend going to see her.

There's parking out front and in the neighborhood and the salon feels inclusive and welcoming. I have seen two people at Heyday and both put me at ease immediately by listening and being receptive and adapting to sensory sensitivities. I have seen Georgi a few times now. She transformed my boring hair helmet into a wonderland of vivid sunset streaks with movement. She cuts, she colors, she styles. Usually, I leave a salon and can never get my hair to do the cool things the stylist did, but Georgi gave me advice I could actually follow. Strangers compliment my hair and friends say it really suits me. She's equally cool with me being introverted or geeking out about nerdy stuff. She is artistic, neurodivergent friendly, tells stories, and is basically just an awesome person. I also saw Joanna for skin/lashes. I have sensitive eyes, and she darkened my eyelashes WITHOUT irritating them. She also gave me a glycolic peel that made my skin glow.

Carrie is amazing! I walked in without an appointment, really needing some pampering and a haircut. She had a stacked schedule and found time to squeeze me in, THE SAME DAY! She was so attentive to ensure that I had the best time during my hair cut. Incredibly professional and kind! I love my haircut and will be going to see her next time I need a cut. Highly recommend!

Keisha Hall is my go to hairstylist, I have never gotten so many compliments on a haircut in my entire life. She is incredibly versatile in her skill set. I have very long thick hair and she always gives excellent advice on how to manage and style it. 10/10 would recommend.

Krista gave me the best haircut! They are a great communicator and the whole experience was lovely. They gave me the opportunity to ask any questions about my hair and gave me some tips on what could help. I also got my eyebrows waxed by Maisie and that was a great experience too, my brows look so good! Every appointment at heyday has been excellent. I highly recommend this salon, it’s beautiful, good vibes, and the people are great. Thanks all!
