Molly was amazing got to work right away knew what she was doing with my hair. I will be coming back when I’m able to. You’d have to buy the Groupon and be a first time client I believe to use it. Just read the fine print. But the service is worth it.

OMG!! I don’t know how long I can make this post. Where do I start 20/10 a true five star place. The staff is educated on color, cut, and styling. I have not received a blow dry like this with NO HOT TOOLS in over ten years; if that! Pricing and services were more than fair, I was treated with so much care. My hair was double and tripled checked for correct layering and color completion. I mean I can’t say enough. An amazing scalp treatment for only $15, you can’t beat that. They will be sick of me because I will keep returning for all hair services from here on out. I’ve searched far and wide for a great hair place and omg I wanted to cry, mind you I added coloring the day before to my appointment and they were more than willing to allow me to make that change and fit me in. I came in blonde with uneven coloring placement, spread in weird places and outgrown, my cut was uneven, my hair was dull and not styling correctly, frizzy natural curls, and looked like I was thinning out in the front. I wanted to be back to brown, I left with bouncy fuller looking hair and a gorgeous fresh color. I wanted to cry it was so beautiful. Place is clean, good parking in the back right by the beach. I’m in love, this is now my permanent go to place. I had an event to go to and I was turning heads. I highly, overly recommend you come here for all of your hair needs both men and women, you will not regret it!! I want everyone to feel this good! I will be back for the Brazilian blow out next!

We had a spectacular experience at Hi n dry! I went with my cousins to get blow outs for my brother’s wedding weekend! The stylists were fantastic! We are all pretty picky with our hair and I am thrilled to say that we all left very happy and our hair stayed perfect all night! When I got home my daughters loved my hair so much they asked if they could go the next day to get glammed before the wedding! The owner was very kind to fit them in and did just as beautiful of a job for my girls as they did for me! I highly recommend hi n dry for all of your blow out needs! I will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this place !! Went to get my first ever blowout with friends for a special event and the salon was not only beautiful, but the stylists were all super sweet and accommodating!! Everyone’s hair that was done for our event looked amazing! Went back last week to get a trim and blowout from Molly - who is so amazing and did such a good job, and it lasted my entire vacation and looked so smooth and healthy! The salon in general has great vibes and I thought it was really cool that they sell art and clothing too :) Will absolutely be back it was a great experience!!

I love my color, cut, and blowouts from Hi and Dry. The stylists are amazing and they truly love their regulars. The personal customer service is consistent and of high quality in every service they provide. Val is incredible at color and everything in between. You can't beat the location, studio/salon atmosphere and quality service you get from a salon like this. Additionally, where else can you find the coolest vintage pieces ranging from art to clothing from our favorite decades, which are classic pieces for today? Stop by and check it out. I can't say enough amazing things about this salon! I am picky with who touches my hair and I get home not wanting anything revised or need to be redone .. very refreshing.

Val and Molly are absolute wizards when it comes to glamming you up for special occasions like the navy ball! Val, the owner, shared some fantastic insider makeup tips that really made my look pop. And let's talk about the blowout – it lasted for days and still looked as fabulous as day one! Highly recommend this talented team for all your glam needs. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DO NOT GO HERE! :the second time I went to this saloon for a root touch up it was a horrible exspiernce. (I get full blonde highlights) after I got home I realized my highlights were done chunky, thick and patchy and you could still see where my hair was grown out… I texted the hairstylist and went back for it to be fixed the following day . whom I assume to be the manger was the one going to be “fixing my hair this time” everytime she asked what the issue was and I explained “she couldn’t see and said it looked great” when I tried to explain the issue she kept cutting me off and talking over me. Finally she started doing my hair adding 4 highlights to the back when that was a minor issue which I told her already and the main issue was the front. Once my hair was blow dried it looked exactly the same so I explained I was still not satisfied with my hair and the original issue was still there. She got defensive and passive aggressive and argued with me for about 20 minutes saying I don’t know what highlights are and took my phone out of my hand with out asking to take a picture and on the picture SHE TOOK i showed her the issue which I had originally came in to be fixed and she claimed it was not their. Finally she told me she gave me 3 options and I can leave and I asked her what were those 3 options because I had not once heard her say anything about fixing it again and she said “1 root shadow 2 roof balayage 3 or more highlights And that I can leave” I explained ma’am you never said any of those options and why would I want you doing my hair when you couldn’t get it right the FIRST or EVEN SECOND time and I still have a question about the charges on my receipt which are for 3 things none of which I pursued “grey coverage” ( I’m 19)” “glitter gel” which I did not ask for and “ full face Mu” and I explained i got a trim and root full highlight this is when she got aggressive and snatched the receipt out of my hand borderline yelling “the stylist was trying to make it “cheaper for you “ and I said how was I supposed to know that and no one informed me that before I paid and why wouldn’t you apply a discount instead of charging me for random items. I explained i would like a particular refund not for the tip I left of course but at least partial for the charges because I will be going somewhere else to have my hair fixed because you could not make it right the first or second time. Over all the manger is rude, UNPROFESSIONAL, passive aggressive, needs to learn how to not talk over people, and also not snatch things out of peoples hands with out asking ( the receipt and my phone) finally I left after 30 minutes of getting no where. maybe if she wasn’t so rude to begin with when I brought up the issue I would have wanted to have her try to fix my hair a 3rd time and sit for 2 more hours of my time wasted for it too look the same. I would also like to note: I have been getting my hair dyed with a full blonde highlights for 3 years and never had this issue and even went to this salon with the same stylist once before and never had this issue.

Love having a Dry Bar so close to home! This place had a super fun vibe with vintage clothing and art for sale and of course...beautiful blow outs. Simone took great care of me. I was able to walk in and get my blowout right away. I highly recommend you check out this spot in the Vibe district!

The best of the best!! My hair had never felt better, blow outs changed my life and to be honest i hate the day i have to wash because i wanna turn around run back for another blow out. i decided to take the leap and chop my hair as it needed it and thanks to HinDry i LOVE it!! the vibes are incredible, place is beautiful and so is the owner and people. 10/10 i’ll never go anywhere else! 🫶

I’m from out of town and bought a Groupon for a classic blowout and lash application. Sometimes you don’t know what you are going to get with a Groupon. These ladies could NOT have been any sweeter or more talented! I got an amazing blow out and natural lashes and eyeliner that made my eyes pop. I felt so gorgeous walking out of there! I highly recommend. This place is a gem.

Scheduled an appointment for Dutch braids with Simone. She provided quality service & my braids look great. She asked questions to ensure I was totally happy with the outcome of my braids. However, the reason for 4 stars is that prices are not accurately reflected on the website. Also, there was not enough money in the register to give change. Be sure to bring a card to ensure this doesn’t happen to you! I hope that the site will be updated with proper pricing. I also appreciate the loyalty card that Simone gave me to redeem 50% off or a free blowout. I look forward to returning in the future.

So, I needed a hairdo done early in the day but it had to last all night. The problem is my hair is quite fine, thin and limp. Well... my niece and I were googling places and nobody had availability or wanted too much $$$ for a simple blownout. Thats when she found Hi N Dry AND they had a Groupon available! Best move we made!! Not only was I satisfied with my hair, it lasted all night and I even slept on it and it was still in some shape!! I did not catch the stylists name, however she was awesome. And a lovely conversationalist which is always a plus. The ambiance and decor were very comfortable too! I don't live in Virginia, but will definitely visit anytime I'm in town and need a 'do!
