I am very disappointed with this location and the lack of knowledge with the desk staff at the front. My mother and I went in for services this morning, she was going for a massage and I was going for acupuncture. Mind you we planned to come specifically for acupuncture and had to schedule it around the acupuncturist schedule since she is not there on the daily. Once we arrived, the girl at the front showed us around the facility, and then offered us mimosas or champagne at request. We told her we would take two mimosas (with alcohol). A few minutes after, she returned with our drinks and told us to wait in the lounge area until we were called. As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom the acupuncturist asked if I was there for her and I told her yes. She then noticed I had a mimosa in my hand and asked me if it had alcohol. I told her yes it did, she then told me she would be unable to preform the service due to the drink containing alcohol. I told her I was never informed that I wasn’t allowed to drink alcohol before the service. She apologized and told me regardless she wouldn’t be able to preform the service, and this was the first time for an incident like this, and that the would talk to the spa manager in regards to the incident. My mother and I then walked to the waiting lounge and the girl told me the same thing that I wouldn’t be able to receive the acupuncture service due to the alcohol intake and they could schedule me for a facial instead. We informed her how absurd it was due to them offering alcoholic beverages before a service when it was not allowed. I went wanting the acupuncture service not a basic facial, I told her we would have to reschedule and decline the services as we came for something specific. We then walked out to the front desks where we told them it was ludicrous that we were even offered alcohol when they knew that prior to the service there should be no alcohol intake, and as the guest I should have been informed or we would have not accepted the drink. This is very unfortunate as we drove 45 minutes to this location just to be denied our booked service due to the incompetence of their employees not knowing protocol for certain services. UPDATE: I do very much appreciate Callie, the location manager, reaching out in regards to my unfortunate first experience at Hiatus. She was professional and very apologetic about the situation.

This is my absolute FAVORITE place for self care. Angela Gillespie is an angel sent from heaven… if you need a facial go see her!! Ebony is the masseuse I never knew I needed. The mani/pedi service is next level if you just want to unwind and get pampered. I have a membership and never have a problem finding a service I need each month!

The sitting area is so nice and relaxing. They offer delicious tea and fruit flavored water in the waiting room. The changing rooms are clean and offer a variety of toiletries. I felt so pampered and relaxed after a massage and facial. I will return for more treatments!

Beware of membership - there’s an expiration on your credits and they will not give you grace on that. Stick to paying only when you go or find another great spa that doesn’t let your credits expire!

Spa massage was cancelled even after a call was made explaining that we were stuck in traffic which was okay but then they tried to charge full price for a service that wasn’t provided. The receptionists were very rude and short when we were there. I wouldn’t recommend.

We had some issues but the manager went above and beyond to take care of us, which she deserves five stars for correcting the situation. The care to customer service and the care to the customer experience that was shown to us will keep us coming back to this lovely gem of a spa. Recommend trying it out for sure.

UPDATE: Received a call from the spa and was brought in for a repeat service. The polish this time was significantly better. I’m giving two stars instead of 0 because my technician Erica was phenomenal! She was so patient and kind and she did a fantastic job. The reason for the low review is the overall quality for the price. For my medical graduation I decided to treat myself with the “best mani/pedi” in Dallas. I was blown away by the price but as I’ve heard it really is the best, and it’s a graduation gift to myself I figured why not. On entrance the front desk staff was friendly and the ambiance was relaxing and calm. I really enjoyed myself during the experience. Unfortunately when I got home I already had one chip on my left thumb, and the next morning a whole nail peeled off. I am leaving this review as I feel this is not in fact, the best mani/pedi, but for $140 I got a really good hand and foot massage with the worst polish. It doesn’t fit the standard and I’m very dissatisfied with my experience. The $40 pedi at the local salon lasts longer.

Customer service isn’t that great on multiple occasions. Employees always seem to be confused on what to do or how to do things. Today I had booked myself and my boyfriend a facial. I received a confirmation email for BOTH our facials and I even called yesterday to confirm. We arrive today and they say they don’t have his appointment. Chachis Hecht, was VERY pushy, unprofessional and rude. She tried to say it was okay and scramble to find someone last minute to service my boyfriend. Also touched him which is not okay to touch someone you don’t know. At checkout she kept pressing me to see what products I was recommended and told me they were helping a client so to step back and wait my turn. This experience was like being sold a timeshare and no positive outcome. Will not be back.

I had been given a gift card for my birthday. I workout regularly, so I thought a massage would be great. I enjoyed my massage with Rocky. I was told that I could decide on a membership after my massage. After the massage, I decided to get a membership, but I was told the gift card couldn't be used for the membership. If I got a membership, I could use my gift card for a tip or products only. WHAT??? I couldn't believe they wouldn't use their gift card for their membership. I won't be getting a membership, so the spa won't be receiving any more money from me. I just want you to know their gift cards has exceptions and no where is that explained! I'm relaxed from the massage and pissed at their lack of customer service. Terrible short sided business model.

Receptionist and store staff are helpful and customer oriented. Amenities are superb. The massage therapists are well educated and have a passion to help others and understand the customers needs. I highly recommend.

If you're considering a facial book an appointment with Brandy! I found her through reviews here and I am so glad that I did! She is getting my skin wedding ready for November and has been working with me to get the best regimen and products for my skin type. She is so personable and even texts you a few days after a facial to check in how your skin is feeling. I won't see anyone else when it comes to my skin care routine!

I haven’t been back in several years. The remodel is very attractive, relaxing, calming and inviting. The check-in and checkout process is much better than I remembered. As well as the front staff being very courteous and welcoming. My service was good, but not exactly as described. It was more or less an extended signature service versus, what the comeback details. I’ll try again another time.

I love the membership package for Hiatus. Overall, I have always had a great experience for my appointments. Great quality and product and an overall experience in their locations. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5, you all NEVER pick up your phones or return voicemails. This is a common trend for all locations that is very frustrating. You have certain services that require you to call in to make an appointment, but I have called throughout the day for some occasions. I would expect way better service when it comes to this.

4 for ambiance and spa setting. Massage not too impressed, 3. Initial phone call to book, 1. When I called the woman didn't want to help me and said I should go the website and book there. Had she spent even a minute to talk to me I would've ventured to other spa treatments. The massage itself reminded me of massage envy. Would venture to try it again and even get a membership. But was hoping for a deep tissue massage and received a so, so massage. Love the idea of a membership of services, mainly massage. But would want a guarantee of therapist that does this.

What can I say! A wonderful 90 minute deep tissue massage and I wanted more!
